Can we take some time to talk about why everyone ignored BFG's phone autocorrect like into lick?

Excuse me?

You acknowledged the "typo". I think the pressing issue is why her phone defaults to lick.

(except maybe shad licking Sooh early, although you appeared null on that so?)

I have a feeling Sooh would find me licking her scummy.

Appropriately timed in the middle of her thunderdome with Verb.

That's a majority.

I certainly hope Turin wasn't telling the truth - if so, gg folks.

Chris was camped out in scum QT waiting for Tiink to show up for the hammer boo.

Fun fact: Chris hammered Verb on the way back from the bathroom.  I left the QT at the same time I left the thread (actualyl before then, as I didn't think Tiinker was going to be around).  I happened to check QT during the break and saw Tink was around, but that's why I said I have like 1 minute.

A few thoughts on reading me, because I'm a narcissist and like talking about myself.

EoD not voting: Completely null.  It had nothing to do with being scum or whatever.  Anybody that's seen me as mafia more than once knows I have no problem doing anything to draw attention to myself, and quite frankly I like it there, because it typically means it's off my teammates.  The fact I didn't vote is solely because I'm at work from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Eastern, and I'm not able to play on my phone outside of lunch/short breaks.  AJ setting the deadline for that time was very frustrating for me, though I obviously don't hold it against him...I don't expect hte mod to work around my schedule

Aggression: This was something Shad brought up when reviewing old games.  I've been trying to reel it in a bit, but I am far more aggressive in driving things as scum than town, because as town...  I just don't care.  I will get more personal satisfaction out of getting swept with god tier reads than getting dragged to a win while playing terribly.  Last game, BFG made a read about how she thought I would probably be more concerned about the direction of a lynch if I were scum and she's entirely right.  My success, as mafia, comes from winning; I do that by getting pressure and votes to go where I want.

Flying under the radar: Yeah, this is basically what I'm known for as mafia

BFG reading me: You guys should probably just listen to her lol

I've been telling people this for years now.  Somehow you guys keep taking it as a joke.

Tiink was obvious.

Chris was GOAT.

Lol

Did I make a huge mistake it believing your analysis of EOD?

It was a good analysis.

It's the fact that he subsequently ignored 100% of his conclusions that was glaring.

That was part of my catchup, so if I missed that then it is on me.

Well, I missed it too apparently.

Honestly, a great teammate. My activity since I've gotten back in (i.e. this game and Gilmore Girls) hasn't been great but it's just been a busy time but I've been itching to play. I don't think it's been too terrible, but I think I'll hold off playing until I can have a quieter week.

was too busy watching xxx videos on safety

There's a hard hat joke here, but I don't want to make it.

Well, I missed it too apparently.

100% was an overstatement; you named Chris as one of your top suspects and then ignored him for the rest of the game. You certainly followed through on BFG.

I honestly don't agree with Tiink being obvious.  I mean, I haven't played with him more than maybe 2-3 times total (I think), but I really liked him this game.  If he pulled the wool over my head, gg to him and well done.  But I don't think he was obvious anything, actually.

Cheers! I actually purposefully tried to analyze the lynch train in the exact same way I used it to deduce LZM/Shad in the Gilmore Girls game, which I thought was very pro-town but no one seemed to pick up on it. Also I feel like last year/two years ago you would've been speed lynched for trying to no lynch D1.

"pg 52 Shad finds exactly what makes Clov/Tiink partners

how's that pocket tho"

"Tiink ignoring of Clov is the biggest tell that people are picking up but it may get forgotten :("

Yes, and yes.  Shad didn't only reach the correct scum team, he found it for exactly the correct reasons.  I've said for years the most important thing to look at for finding associations between teammates isn't to find who they buddied/worked with/etc.  It's who they completely avoided.  If someone names four people, hard defends two of them, tries to murder a third, and ignores the fourth and that someone flips mafia...first thing I'm doing is pulling up that fourth's person ISO to see what discussions they had with/about our dead mafia.

I had obviously been making it a point to engage with Tink whenever he was in the thread and ask him some fairly routine probing questions he'd be able to answer whenever he got back, but once Shad pointed that out and Tink brought it up again, I had to apply more pressure.

"I do have a lot of difficulty seeing Town!Clov even propose a no-lynch on d1 of an odd-numbered small game."

I don't know what I would have done there as town.  I definitely wouldn't have been feeling good about a specific lynch.  I think my reads list of "people I won't lynch - Shad, Sooh" reflected where I would have been at had I been town.  Mostly likely what I would have done - assuming I hadn't been stuck at work and unable to actually play deadline - is thrown a vote on somebody basically at random to get more discussion going and kinda swing a lynch on somebody else based on reactions/get more support for whoever I threw it on originally.

The assessment of matching a lack of confidence to the thread flow is exactly right.  I had presented few reads and questionable confidence on a lot of people, so it would have been a really bad look to strongly advocate for a specific direction.  As such, I was never going to do that.  Probably the most telling takeaway there is i had specifically stated that I was okay lynching basically anyone else.  Not damning, because I usually work inwards from my town reads D1 (i.e., build a block I dont' want to lynch and then find a handful of candidates I feel fine lynching and don't drive towards anyone).  This is why I always tell people my town meta is more or less apathetic towards specific outcomes, especially early on.  What is damning is suggesting a no lynch after stating I was fine lynching 6 players in a 9 person game.
