You could eliminate just two players so town don't need every villager voting together to win?

 

Tricky, I like the format but at the moment it's pretty scum sided assuming a normal game and town sided if there are no lurkers

 

8p still needs everyone voting together because 4-4 = tie (and while I could make ties random instead of auto-scum, ending any game on a random lynch is beyond lame).

 

But it means one town can not vote

If people actually want to give it another go the basic queue turnover is pretty quick these days, but I won't run it unless it's requested.

Well, I don't understand the structure of mafia in general well enough to judge whether the set up is viable or not. Perhaps it is simply a failed experiment, but I thought it was interesting, fun, and showed promise once I understood how it worked.

tl;dr: it's amazing that you essentially got both of AJ and BFG mislynched, but it's also speaks to the build that they can bring their A game to this roster and still have this happen

I could just make all phases 48 hours instead of 72/48/24.

Hey, I signed up for your game tonight after all, Aquilla, so you don't have to hold the spot. I'm still fairly new to mafia though, so I might noob it up a little, but I can certainly do my noobing within the confines of the site rules and all. Most of my noobishness will be in the form of a game that lacks polish and an unfamiliarity with lots of PRs and 3rd party elements, but I don't think it should pose a problem unless you were hoping for an entirely veteran crew who really know the ins and outs of various mafia set ups.

That could work. I mean really I don’t think this setup needs a lot of tweaking. It allows for a lot of variance and angles to play from and really just comes down to the individual players making a difference. Nothing you can do about that.

 

Oh and the only reason we had that convo about the votes was because at first glance I thought under the timer it said votes are locked. It’s what I get for skimming lol

This game is another example of my vulnerability as a townie. I get riled up or rattled and sort of crash around into stuff and end up looking worse from it all. Idk - this isn’t the first game a situation like this has arised where I call the exact scum team’s play but my inability to articulate it in a good manner bites me in the arse when I lose my cool.
