I agree with Verb on the point that the read itself wouldn’t be hard to fake. So if that is the measure of what takes you outta scum range, well

 

On the other hand, I do think he’s making a bigger deal about a snap gut/tone read as if it’s uncommon. Uncommon for you, maybe, i guess.

I'm sort of flicking through wotkids but I'm not really sure what I'm expecting. It's a low volume lzm town game, where he came into thread decided nothing was happening and character claimed a bad guy in order to get discussion rolling. SK cc'd and LZM was thinking about motives, this game I don't really feel like he's thinking, he's just latching onto something 'odd' but not thinking any deeper. When he's in thread he's not really involved in a solve, he's just, posting stuff

 

Still hasn't explained what I was defending (although I appreciate that's borderline semantics) or what I was leading, ignored my reasoning, even to say he didn't believe me or otherwise

 

But I feel like I could say not involved in a solve about a few players, not sure if it's to do with the setup or just one of those games

I get the point. You wouldn’t “expose” yourself to scrutiny unnecessarily. I still agree that it wouldn’t be hard to fake but that’s me.

The fact that it’s self professed as more or less a throw away read based on next to nothing is why I don’t think it’s hard to fake. You can shrug off the scrutiny. Anywho - enough about that.

I'm not nitpicking lol, it's not the scrutiny, it's a combination of the type of read and the timing of it. Scum me and town me think completely differently, and it's not something I know how to fake (yet :p)

 

Either way it's a tiny thing, yet verb and lzm are basing their entire read on it

 

And your scum range varies depending on how recently you randed scum :P like you were pretty obviously mailing it in in the semi alt game, but go back to spirited away and it's a different story
