Tough call between those two. I’m not really certain about either but after looking at both ISOs I’m starting to come around to LZM maybe just being apathetic town. Not saying I think Lenlo is scum but the goal is to advance players we think are more likely town and between the two I’m leaning more towards LZM for now.

Eh. I think ive been active and solving. Up to you to decide that.

 

I do think that active participation is better than apathetic non-content however. Atleast the active participation can be solved.

Getting back to this. I did a quick skim of his ISO from Suicide Squad and Tainted Minds, and I’m still undecided. He did the “I suck as town” thing in SS as the IC so meh. It wasn’t to this extent though. I need a bigger sample and there’s not a ton of stuff for him to react to this game so far. The reads on me and Sooh are about it plus his list where he had Lenlo as an town read as well. I’d like to hear about that.

Lenlo seemed solvy, and he still does. The "let's lynch active, obvious townies" strategy that he and Sooh entertained worried me some, but I still have a slight town feel on him, and in his pairing, he seems more town than LZM, who is more detached and cautious than he has seemed to me in his other town games, so I have a slight scum read on LZM. My vote in that bracket stays.

I feel the need to once again reiterate, people are not being lynched. They are being knocked out of a tournament. Town cannot kill anyone, so losing a group isnt that big a deal nor necessarily a bad thing.

Not everyone comes back to continue playing, and dead townies who are hanging around do not count toward town totals, so lynching is as big a deal as it is in any game, and it feels scummy to be nonchalant about it. I would not be surprised if you and LZM are both wolves.

Scum will kill off two winners and a loser. 

 

3 winners will move on and scums will reinstate a loser to create two pairs for round 2.

 

The 4 people paired off plus the three losers still alive all have a vote that counts in round 2. 

 

It's IMPERATIVE that unless you're one of the three mafia really and truly kills off, you're still playing the game and need to show up and pay attention.

I don't have much to come up with in terms of further reads. I think I just need to see the results and the three flips before I try to analyse any more. 

 

And yes, I don't really care about who wins and loses D1, because D2 is basically going to be scum/town scum/town pairs anyway. Fairly sure that's the case of this setup 99% of the time if the scum team is smart. Call me apathetic if you want.

If you do it both days, you’re guaranteed to last until D3 with at least one, while the others are still spewing from the peanut gallery. I’m not saying they will do that, just that there is a reason to do that.

SET-UP:

 

There are 7 vanilla town, 2 mafia goons, and 1 mafia symp who knows who the goons are.

 

The game will play out in the form of a tournament. The faction which wins the tournament wins the game.

 

On N0, the Mafia goons may fix the round 1 pairings in any manner they like.

 

On D1, all players will vote to eliminate one of two contenders in each of five match-ups. In the event of a tie, Mafia will win the match-up or else the result will be randomized. Eliminated players will remain in the game and may continue to vote.

 

If Mafia are not eliminated, the game proceeds to N1. The Mafia goons will choose to eliminated two winners and one loser from the game entirely, and must substitute one loser of their choosing back into the game.

 

On D2, the three dead players will flip and the remaining 7 players will vote to eliminate one of two contenders in both of the remaining pairings. If the game has not been resolved, there will be a final D3 match to determine the winning faction.

 

RULES:

TL;DR:

 

This game sounds more complicated than I think it really is. Your goal as a villager is to find other villagers and keep them in the tournament by voting the people they are paired against.

It doesnt say here that scum determine the pairings in D2
