I just looked at SK's other two games here. Both games, he basically just checked in on day 1 (real day, not D! game day), then started playing seriously on day 2 (in real time, not D2), so this is consistent with what little meta there is on him so far. You (Nyn) also look like you have in each game I've played with you, but I haven't seen your wolf game yet. Maybe you are a tricksy hobbitses who hides the precious well. Maybe you are town like you were in the other games.

No, I mean I scrolled through the first few pages of each game, looking at only his posts, and saw that in real time (like August 8, August 9, etc), he posted once or twice on the first day before jumping in and actually playing after that, on the second day (August 10, August 11, etc). If he jumps in today and starts playing, then that is consistent. And if by CC you mean his bizarre counterclaim on LZM last game, that did not happen on the first day of real time. The first day of real time last game he posted: /confirm, and then later, "I thought we were still confirming," or something like that. Then on the following day, he started pushing me.

It was like 3 days real time into the game before he did that. It was at least late into the second day of real time.

Need to see more from SK, but I can't call him a wolf yet unless I'm willing to do the same with everyone who has barely posted yet. Will have to go back and see how he started in Darthe's game when he was scum. Was he quiet at the start then, too?

Fact of the matter is that sk's town game seems wildly different from his scum game from little I've seen. You pushed him hard last game as a mislynch claiming he changed his style on purpose...and you were scummates the game before that. So i would say that it *should* merit some concern.

Fair enough. I suppose that's a defense of sorts, although all I'm really trying to do is sort facts and be balanced and fair.

 

Indeed, he played wildly different in both games. I can't believe that he sucks that bad, though. I think he was either trying to change his meta, or just play some sort of loose, chaotic style to see what happened. It certainly rattled me, so if that was his intention, it worked, but it would be a bad tell if that is consistently his town game and the other is consistently his wolf game.

RL days are all we have to go by right now, though. It is still D1, and yeah, I expect you to go by that when analyzing how someone has played this early in a game.

Because we dont' have enough to go by yet to make a decision on how he's playing on D1. So far, he is playing like he has in both games, even though they ended up being almost melodramatically different, because that the very, very beginning, they both looked like this game, as far as his posts are concerned. I'm just saying that he hasn't posted enough for us to get a read yet.

Ben we're basically half through this phase. And I want to see more from him atp. Period. There's meta and then there's being nitpicky. I'm not going to measure contribution via RL days count pretty much ever. Not to mention that d1 DLs vary which affects things from that prespective.

I'm voting him not advocating a blind lynch atm. It would be nice if you'd be quiet about it and let him respond instead of pattering around like this. It gets in the way. If you're town it's something you seriously need to work on.

This is only my first opportunity to make my town and wolf games look the same. It will take some time to smooth it out, and then, after I have a meta, it will take some time to determine if I've made a mistake by doing that, because maybe I just end up always being a D1 lynch because people would rather mislynch on D1 than let me deep wolf on them. I don't know. We'll see. Right now, I'm just trying to play town the same way I play wolf, because so far, I last until the end as wolf and die on D1 as town. As lead wagon on page 7, I see that isn't changing yet, but I can be patient. It will take time to learn the game and time to polish. Meanwhile, I am trying to learn to scum hunt and not just pretend to. It's kinda hard.

Meta is not the game, its a part of it. You're lacking atm in parts that aren't meta, namely logic.
