It's nice to meet you. I read your impressive sig. How do you win consistently as both town and wolf? Most people seem to play differently depending on whether they are town or wolf, or at least, everyone says they do. So far, when I play town, people pounce on me as a wolf right away, but when I am a wolf, I somehow sneak by, even when they keep saying, "Ben is probably a deep wolf." I want to fix that so that I win as town too, but if I have to choose, I'd rather win as a wolf because I think wolf is more fun. Town is full of anxiety because I don't know who to trust, while wolf is just sheer thrill and excitement.

Because we dont' have enough to go by yet to make a decision on how he's playing on D1. So far, he is playing like he has in both games, even though they ended up being almost melodramatically different, because that the very, very beginning, they both looked like this game, as far as his posts are concerned. I'm just saying that he hasn't posted enough for us to get a read yet.

First, I never mentioned claiming. Of course no one is going to claim anything other than town. However, I was talking about Ben reading people as town, not claiming he was town. There is a very important difference there that you either A) Forgot about or B) Purposely left out to attack me on.

 

As far as defensive goes, I could more accurately apply that to you right now. I responded with a snippish, 2  sentence post, clarifying what I said. Your response to that is to claim clarification is super wolfy, yelling I dont make any sense, and voting me. Doesnt look good, when all I did was correct you.

 

The rest is fine though. I agree on Nyn, I liked the exchange with Ben. Dug in and hitem. Was nice. Dont understand the not lynching Dice yet, since he has 3 posts.

So, is this how Ben normally is? I appreciate the effort to make the game serious as soon as possible, cuts down on the spam. But I am not sure im ok with alignments being thrown out just yet.

This honestly seems like a pretty standard skim read reaction from Hally, not seeing much here.

Anyways, onto more game related stuff, Nyn/Ben convo looks like town/town arguments to me, and I'm with Nyn on the fact that the awkwardness of Ben right now makes me have a town read on him.  He seemed to know what he was doing as scum, and that's obviously not true right now.  Aside from that though, I don't have too many reads on people right now, aside from the fact that out of some of the old time players (i.e. people I played with before I left), there seems to be some joke/meta town reads, and I feel like someone in that group is coasting right now (as are some of town tbf) and are trying to keep up that kind of calm, relaxed, chilling with friends demeanor which induces an environment where there are going to be less scum reads and more likely mislynches.

Ah gotcha, no I wasn't voting based on posting effort, day 1 that's pretty dumb, we haven't even gotten the game going so its not too interesting, and for me, I just forgot it had already started.  I was going off of the fact that I thought some of the older players were coasting on just interacting friendly with each other, and although that's not a strong argument, its all I had, so I just put down a random vote in that group and wanted to test the reaction.

Nyn, if you're town, this definitely doesn't help town.  It'd be much much better to get a scum hit, or at least try to get a scum hit and get the ensuing information than to lynch someone in the hope we get someone that'll be a good fit at stump.  Also, stump isn't some great role either.  Yeah you have a confirmed town who's opinions you can trust, but that's it.  They have no outside knowledge of any sort.  Trying to get someone in that role is not worth giving up an entire day of attempting to get scum, and intentionally lowering our numbers.

The only advantage I can see in it is that if she's mislynched on D1, the scum cannot remove her.

I really don't know what Nyn's angle is here. If this is a pity play, martyr type thing. I seriously doubt based on thread state that anyone really suspects her expect for maybe me - so the self deprecating vote is just... idk. Unnecessary?
