Yeah we're at 5-3 right now so vig please do not shoot.  I think.  Only downside to vig not shooting is if they're the one that gets killed.  Advantage (silver lining more like) is that with only one vig shot, we can direct it as town without having the vig reveal or having a fear of shots overlapping.

 

What we could do to make sure that the vig shot isn't wasted is hold a mini unofficial day right now during this night, and at the end, we could tally votes and have vig shoot the person with the most votes, essentially acting as a final lynch.  In fact, that would allow us to hold a mini day with one more town influencer than there will be during tomorrow.

 

So honestly, if people think they have the time, I've done a complete 180 while writing this, we should do a mini day and go ahead and try to get a mafia tonight.

I was on page 26 gathering posts from dpr. I am less sure of my read on rand, but I still inclined say town it was my first instinct and it has served me well. Dpr feels towny through and through in my opinion. Just the whole stubborn tunnel and not caring about dying. It just rings town to me. I have a couple posts from dpr now I am going to get one more and then post my thoughts on them and rand. It is incredibly tedious to look for players posts :/

Well, if you can prove that you vig Marsh, that would certainly persuade me concerning you, although I lean town towards Marsh. The worst thing he has done has been to flip his vote on Rand, and that was all early stuff anyway, when everything is really fluid and we're all just trying to get a feel for each other.

I remembered that there was a rule on swearing, I just didn't remember what the extent of the rule was.  Its much easier to remember someone's personality who you interacted with for years, then the extent of a rule that you previously didn't have to worry about as much as I do now, just because I didn't even swear that much then.

Regardless, I thought it was weird because he's an example of why that rule exists - I think he was 14 the last time I was in a game with him, and I don't remember him being na especially hardcore rebel back then... so I don't think he forgot. 

 

I also don't buy that does remember Verb's personality. Verb has changed his game over the years, just like everybody else, so not sure how this is possible after a 3 year break. 

 

Last, I know that several players - including myself - returned and took a minute to get used to how the game has evolved. I found it odd that this didn't happen to him.

 

That's it. Verdict is still out on most everybody else as it's too early to connect dots and such. If I had to pick 1 for scum right now, it'd be Rand.

Originally I had 4/5 posts of yours, but I am just going to use two this one and obviously another one. The issue to me seems to be relationships. The relationship of Thor to players and this site. Thor says he forgot about the rule, but you dpr say that he also remembered things about specific players. I don't see how his memory makes him a candidate for scum. Let's say you're right though to use the analogy that it is impossible to forget to put the brakes on the car when you start it, so you should not be able to remember how to drive it. Not to say that you forgot you had to put the brakes maybe just that it wasn't on your mind you had more important things on your mind i.e. Catching scum. I didn't even know about the rule that you could not swear. Who reads the ToS of a site? Like ever? Maybe you heard about it from friends in a thread that you can't swear, but why not take it at face value? Rand doesn't seem nervous to me maybe more leaning cautious that he doesn't want to lose or break a rule.

Finally he seems nervous in what way? That he will be caught swearing? That only makes him self concious of swearing. It is not relevant to his alignment. Nor does it indicate his alignment. You never actually point out how exactly he is nervous. Was it not him that said he was going to be cautious and not swear? He 1 realized he is a different person and posts differently now 2 remembered that their is a rule about swearing so chose to address it. It seems like a non point to me tbh.

 

@Rand initially I thought you had said you forgot the rule as well. I don't think dpr is misrepresenting you at all. I can understand why he thought that as that was how it read to me.
