Honestly, it was his lack of game related posts. He asked questions about game mechanics, but didn't say much about the game itself, and he started off the exact same way in P+C IIRC.

 

And I really just missed that question, so sorry for the late response.

Nope, based solely on P+C vs this game. It may be incorrect, I'm honestly not going to go back and read that game lol. But I find it interesting how it has been pointed out that he was being so different, because it all started out the same imo.

Need to take another look at 2 Broke Girls and figure out what exactly Adella did to enchant me there but that wot is pretty hard to hate.  People making me do work, pshhh....

*grin* what can I say I am a sucker when it comes to accenting my posts with the perfect gif to capture my mood. I feel like I learned something there but I cant quite put into words what that is. Its marinating until the kids are down for good and I can get on my lap top and really break today down in a follow up post.

 

Adella can you expand on what you mean by my reads and thoughts being commentary and not actually my thoughts. I am not saying no you are wrong but it would help me as a player if you give me more of an example to see what your getting at.

Asking because lack of content is a weird reason to lean villager on anyone vs concluding that it's just not scummy (null).  Thought maybe you regarded him as try-hard scum slank villa.

 

But I'm not sure scum would bother drawing this connection in favor of a villager in the first place when he was one of the easiest players in the game to put a null stamp on and move on?  /shrug

You do a lot of running commentary, instead of saying "I think this is town/scum because..." it's all very non-committal. In a game where everyone hunts for town out the gate, generally I have noticed it is more of a scum thing to just point stuff out without giving a town/scum vibe or going into more detail. Scum stay away from committing it anything too strongly, because then they can backtrack later, it's like leaving the back door open just in case.

She's on the list to ISO before EoD because I don't feel I have a firm grasp of what all she's done so far but she's not high priority.

 

Also been kind of musing on BFG's comment about Kronos being a hot mess as scum, and I'm not sure that the fact that he can occasionally get that way as a villager makes it any less legitimate.

I really can't help my self from adding more commentary. Me and kronos have a running joke about us both being a hot mess in mafia and that we are the most emo hydra DM has ever seen. xD Its like a hydra two person support group...

Thanks for that Adella. I honestly never noticed but I believe I have always played that way and that might be why I can come of as scummy. I am going to give that some deep thought. Dont know if I can fix it but I will ponder it.

In general your style is to look for things that scum do, and I recognize that's the older crowd's way of doing business and I certainly do a bit of it myself, but I learned to play from people who aim more at reading players as individuals, i.e. measuring how I think certain personalities are inclined to behave in certain situations honestly vs opportunistically.  Killa looked like she was just excited to see some action on the last few pages.  The I have thoughts on this but I'm just going to enjoy watching it for now, kind of ballsy for a first time wolf and kind of normal for her as town.

It's 2 part. Early on, yes, it's look for scummy things, and it absolutely works sometimes, if you have a good eye. I'm out of practice and definitely don't claim to be as good as I used to be. My win record back in the day was always better as scum anyways lol. Later in game I looks for character slips, inconsistency from things they said earlier, stuff like that. I can't go by who people are and how they normally play, because I just don't have that information in my noggin yet. There are always things that scum will tend to do more consistently than town though.

 

As far as Killa, I really threw that in there from her D1 posts, and it just proved to still seem consistent D2.

Skim/overnight thoughts:

 

Essentially LZM was possi-scum and I can't hate too much on anyone who voted him/Darthe/Alf. 

 

Shad's reasoning for switch yesterday/today is possible as either alignment.

@Shad - why switch instead of encouraging others to vote Alf if you seriously thought he was more scummy?

 

Cuth FoS/mentioned being sus of LZM early yesterday. On re-read the vote at least follows/is consistent with that thought process though I have some  given that he didn't seem interested in exploring/considering deeper than initial thoughts.

 

The things Shanti mentioned bugged me too /shrug. Could be rehashing other people's sus as LHF, could be legit all she had. Reread of her tone on entry didn't bug me as much last night in itself, the difference in her starting approach is still noticeable to me, not sure if this is confidence/game change or possi-AI

 

Need to look more into Killanos but I essentially have equal suspicion of everyone voting/not voting yesterday, except for DPR.
