So what's wrong with Shad's D1 read of Sooh?

 

He's referring to my feelings about play in general, not any specific read. I've been poking fun at all the D1 alignment reads the past few games.

Not sure if he wrongly quoted it, or just got a q from misreading the post but.

 

I said it felt like he was town reader sooh because it is expected of him, rather than for any post /feeling/content.

 

Also if my damn phone auto correct sooh to soon 1 more time it's going to have another crack!

I'm actually pretty comfortable with Sooh at this point.  I don't think she couldn't make some of the posts she has as scum (really the only great way I have to identify her scumgame is that she pretty much just doesn't care), but I liked the way she kind of came at me and fighting you on your stance on me - and how she did it.

@ed I pushed the subject on purpose to get a better read on him, and did. I think shad is not as fluent as a wolf when being pushed, and tbh I didn't dislike his posts in that regard. But just overall dislike the approach to soon he decided to take.

I realize it was over something little but interactions help get a grip on people.

I agree about interactions, obviously. I didn't think the insistence itself was scummy, no, that's stupid. It's that you were insistent about such a small issue past the point of where it was okay and turned toward agenda pushing. So yes to one of your ten questions in there.

I personally think he needed to go so in depth on specific posts, but that's because I think if someone is lying about meta like that, others would call it out and I don't sweat meta at the beginning of D1 until shtuff starts getting going.

It's not bad, but I'd like to hear what he thinks about Seph.  "Off putting" means nothing for his alignment.

 

Off putting as leaning scum and considering voting him soon depending how he keeps posting.

At first, it seemed like a good question, but then it seemed pushy after getting an explanation. Not just trying to resolve it, but trying to keep it going and keep a negative light on it.

The point is Seph being probably unnecessarily persistent (sometimes on things I don't understand why he cares about) is a very common trait of his town game.  I don't even remember the last time I saw him as scum, so I'm absolutely not saying it's a reason to clear him or anything like that, but it's absolutely null at worst for me.

 

The only thing about Seph that even remotely stands out as bad to me about his play this game was his early stance on me.

LOLOLOLOL, I was gonna ask the same thing. I've seen people say that a lot in just two games since my many year hiatus. How do people have this time?

 

Of course, I ask that while knowing I used to juggle five mafia games at once and keep them in order. I got old. And drunk.

I actually do it a lot myself, but it's one of those optional bonus point assignments that most people justifiably can't be bothered with. It stuck out to me enough to single out because I don't recall seph doing that before and I'm not entirely sure what he'd be looking for--he's played with me when I was scum multiple times before, granted it's been a year or so.

 

I guess point being I think his approach to this game has been entirely villagery so far but if there was one comment that struck me as potential BS it was that one.

It has nothing to do with whether I think my game has been alignment indicative. I know my alignment, I know he's right...so it's an issue of TMI, or a correct read for reasons that even I don't feel very good.

 

And bold - not really.  He's townread me more when I was scum than when I was town (at least ~recently, not sure about older games).
