Honestly I think you're a pretty smart guy and probably are being obtuse intentionally at this point because keeping the argument going gives you something to talk about. You haven't seemed to care much about the lynch this game (barring when it's you) and I imagine as a villager you'd probably care more about that specifically. That's what Darthe showed today that I think he forgets to fake as a wolf a lot, so that's a portion of my read on Darthe being what it is.

 

If I'm wrong on that, again, I'm sorry, but re: your slot my mind is basically made up. You can laugh at my reads post-game if you're a villager and blame me for any potential loss, I can take it ;)

And I suppose a villager can find whoever they damn well please to be suspicious, but you've been largely ignoring Tig and Tress as far as I can tell.

 

Misrep #4. I've repeatedly said i didn't have a problem with Tigs play. Still don't.

 

I've also commented on Tress and pretty much said she's doing a good job of keeping her cards close to her vest. So, have another look.

 

I would call that "largely ignoring" at this stage of the game, but I suppose we'll see.

The reason is because I've given reads. I've made cases - particularly on ed - and that's pro-town no matter how you slice it.

And it's fair to say I understated your approach to Ed throughout the more I think about it. Fair enough. Probably the same applies to your approach to Darthe and I don't have the time and energy to dig into that. What's been frontloaded in my head re D3 was what feels like a simplistic dismissal of Tig and Tress when from my POV one of them has to be dirty. It's not so much about drawing different conclusions as it's about me not seeing you prod them to shore up your reads.

 

And that seems to me mildly awkward to me coming from a high investment villager at this stage of the game vs possibly an opportunistic avoidance of spew coming from scum.

I have a ton of posts on my reads & why I make my reads & how I feel about specific slots, so I don't think it's particularly fair to say I haven't been transparent about it.

 

The fact that I usually don't feel the need to explain my votes is mostly because people know why I'm voting already. This whole line of thought from you just seems to be nitpick after nitpick about my specific playstyle (it is what it is) but the rationale between why you don't like it ("doesn't explain his votes!") is not really a supported conclusion in thread context.

 

This seems less than sincere given that I don't know you, or why you're voting me.

 

Having trouble understanding why that's so hard for you to get.

He's stalled all game. I've specifically asked for info and he doesn't produce. You think I'm a better pick than him?

 

I generally agree with you and was open to swinging either way. I was actually initially leaning more towards Ed because of higher SK equity but our back and forth today has left me feeling that you're the safer bet between two fairly safe bets.

 

Basically it's a toss-up between do I prioritize SK equity to maximize chances of limiting a shot tonight or do I prioritize reads to maximize chances of killing a non-town, and when it's this tight the more logical answer might be the former but the latter feels better in terms of less kicking myself if I'm wrong.

Sorry dpr, cory (and shad) does have a ton of charm behind his leadership. Had sooh taken the lead more I probably would have been behind her. As a newb I felt going along as a team player the best way to win for the town as a whole.

My reads are the same as yesterday.

 

Tress I dont fully trust as town. She has had productive posting but she has been null for most players the whole game.

 

Tig was peeked by sooh but I agree with most in wondering if she has a immunity role. Her focus and play stands out like yours dpr. It is my first time so I am mostly following along hoping to learn as much as I can win or lose.

 

Dpr would be my current pick. Gun to my head.

 

I <3 ed but in the game I dont trust him as far as I could throw him, even though I really want too.

 

Maybe all this makes me a follower. Whatever. Hopefully I am at least clever enough to pick the right folks to follow.

The "everybody does that" doesn't apply to DM much at least anymore, the DM wolf meta of the last 2-3 years here has been extensively bus heavy, far more than other websites I play at

I mean this discussion began with his assessment that you would hard bus Niniel D1 because people with meta on you would be highly suspicious if you didn't.

 

So "everybody does that" is just a generic dismissal that does not demonstrate any sort of solve-related thinking.
