this tends more towards scum ime, as they, myself included, have a hard time feeling very natural and sliding in thread and being all jokey like town often does

 

lines up with any perceived difference in darthe's playstyle this game as opposed to the last two without being based thereon

 

then he votes DPR and says 3p? his first accusation is 3p and not scum

 

makes 0 scumreads, one 3p

after a legitimate point by ed that she was backpedaling, he says he disagrees, but not really

 

just a soft, open read that leaves itself open to be interpreted any way in the future

 

does the good old "that's a big leap for page 7 bfg is hard to read" thing, and immediately follows it up with "i want more cold hard reads", however serious that is or not

 

so several soft defenses and attacks, not hard, very cautious

 

except for one vote apparently on suspicion of 3p

Just a possible explanation. Two games ago, DPR was 3p, and that was the last game Darthe and DPR played in together afaik. I took it as a joke reference to that game.

 

I will agree with you that completely skipping the joke phase is unnatural for town, but there's a bit of interpretation mixed in here as well. I think you're tending to take Darthe's posts extremely seriously, and I'm not convinced they should be read that way.

Tress because she has given me no reason not to, and that's suspicious to me.

 

DPR because he has been here several times during this phase and has basically nothing to show for it.

I would expect Tress to be around more, but of course there may be reasons why she's not. I also would expect her to be more relaxed than I've perceived her so far this game.

 

For DPR I really don't know what to expect.

he has an intensity, but not his normal jokey persona

 

the vote on DPR was questionable, but i took even more issue with the "just watch and see if she derps" thing with wifi

higher scum likelihood than others from where i'm at right now

 

that is the people who talk a lot and have a certain style, for example you and tress, i feel more like waiting and watching given the higher likelihood of my read changing in either way

 

it's not just "i can't read him as well", but more that i don't know

 

tone, i guess?

 

i don't really care about anything at this stage of the game other than getting Darthe up for the lynch
