True: However, just because it's never been done before doesn't mean it can't be done. and with darthe you never know. we were bussing each other most of the game when we were scum together so yes I can see it.

It would be extremely bad strategy though. Basically ensuring the loss of one of your team mates when multiple people are giving excuse to lynch town instead? Darthe and NB always had eldrick as a backup to our lynch. I know other people did too, but for Darthe, NB, and our slot to be teamed, that would mean that we elected to make sure one of us died on D1 instead of following other people's inclinations to vote for Eldrick. That's horrible strategy.

Your suggested strategy is at least equally horrible in the opposite direction. You're saying I buddied NB as much as I'm saying you bussed him? Which, tbh, I don't remember you caring about NB even as much as I did.

Actually, before I go to bed I want to point out something about Crusher (in case we die in the night).

 

As I said before, it's not unreasonable for a scum team to abandon a town wagon for a scum wagon when they see the town wagon losing steam and the scum wagon gaining steam. They do it in hopes of making it look as though they were ahead of the curve and secured the lynch. I pointed to Nyn's play in the FF7 game as an example where I wouldn't have thought she needed to bus sooh when she did (she actually did it even before the sooh wagon gained steam because she anticipated that sooh would likely be the lynch that day) and it helped consolidate the town read that most players had on her.

 

NotBob was a goon. I'm sure  the scum team has a lot of fun powers that they'd like to keep in play. So bussing a team mate that was likely going down anyway and there was no traction for a competing town wagon in a short amount of time is smart play if they can hope to gain some town cred for their power roles. I've read a lot of mafia team QTs where the deliberations are about when they should bus and how.

 

I'm pretty certain at this point that Darthe is scum. People should explore Crusher further to determine if he's scum too.

I think canada needs to build a war to keep the americans out.

 

 

I think dpr is town but I also saw that info comment and went huh  i DO have a thought as to why he said that but im not going first.

Gotta be honest with you Dice, your reads focus seems very narrow.

 

I'm not sure in what universe you think that Eldrick and me/MrsClovs are the scummiest coming out of that end of day when that NotBob lynch wouldn't have happened without us, period. If Darthe was town and being the you know what in the behind that he was to both of us (me/mrsclov and eldrick), why the hell wouldn't we have hopped onto the Darthe lynch? Why would I have declared that Darthe was probably town at a point when MrsClov and I were the only strong lynch candidates.

 

Please read the end of day and give me your thoughts. I'm particularly interested in how you think Darthe is anything but scum based on his horrible response to the question of why he didn't stay on me/MrsClov for the lynch if he was so certain we were scum immediately after NB flipped red. And I'd also like your thoughts on Sooh, Cuth, crusher, and tinker. I know you have wifi as a town read. Not sure who else you're seeing as town at the moment other than seph at the moment.

It seemed like the whole town was gathered within the wooden walls of the community hall. There were the usual cowboys and gold miners, a gaggle of serving girls from the saloon, a few businessmen in natty suits... and for some reason, a pirate in the corner. How odd.

 

The circuit judge sat on a low platform at the front of the room and tried to ignore the pounding of his head. He may have ignored a few of the shouted arguments as well. Truly, if he was doing his job correctly, there should have been a proper trial, but it seemed this rabble couldn't even agree on what the crime was, much less who committed it. The stagecoach was leaving at 4 for Cripple Creek, and he was due there to preside over an actual organized trial. They'd caught a bandit of some sort and were patiently awaiting his arrival to string him up... unlike these folks. The judge emitted a heavy sigh, and turned his attention back to the proceedings.

 

At the moment, an exotic-looking woman was on the stand, her deep red hair and dark skin looking like it belonged to two different people. The cowboy in dusty boots and chaps was red-faced in front of her, emphatically stating "Look, your honor, this here ain't a proper lady. She ain't a housewife, she ain't even a schoolteacher. I tell you, she's up to no good. She's the cause of the trouble in this here town, I'd stake my reputation on it."

 

The woman, however, was pointing to a different cowboy, who was clearly wearing his cleanest jeans and a new shirt. He hardly looked a cowboy at all, to be fair, except for the battered leather boots and a hat that had seen better days. "It's him!" she cried. "He's not who he pretends to be. His name is... Well, I don't know what it is, but it's not Bob."

 

"That's true!" another shouted from within the crowd. "He's not Bob!"

 

"Did he at any point claim to be Bob?" the judge asked wearily, attempting to maintain some sort of order.

 

"Well, no." the audience member allowed. "He specifically said he's NotBob. But he's a shady sort, and can't be trusted."

 

Any attempt at proper court procedure went out the window at that point, as the judge's headache increased in proportion to the shouts of the crowd and the clocked ticked down to his departure. Finally, he slammed his gavel onto the desk with a loud crack, and the room went silent.

 

"Fine. Take him outside, have your... justice."

 

 

NotBob Cassidy, mafia goon, has been lynched.

reason dpr comment on crushers vote post bugged me.

He said he valued his opinion and thanks him for it, if town I would assume he qould move his vote to just secure the lynch. seemed like he was trying to avoid sus by staying on lizzyclov. I would still look at them in order of my list though.
