AFAIK, Darthe is a hyper-active promoter of the bus when scum - one of the things that has me sus on him. He did seem to be promoting good Town play wrt EoD2 but early vibes and I need to go back over him.

 

I'm not sold on Crusher or BFG for Town either though.

I legit didn't know they were both witnesses.

 

D1 I went for Dice because he was my highest Town and was getting pretty obvconsensus/was also providing what I read as cover. Can try and find you the posts in a sec.

 

D2 I actually thought Kronos was a full cop and just claiming one side to try and get out of lynch, hence my needing re-read post. After that had him down as clearing DPR pretty obviously D1 in a way that fit with full cop.

 

 

 

 

And I've been as open with my thoughts as I can.

 

Not gonna argue that I haven't been as involved this game, but it was always going to happen that way.

 

I warned it in signups and tbh anybody pushing me for that, or my MQ's instead of anything I've actually said when I'm here should get a big fat FOS

His playstyle (that I've experienced, and that is just one game pryor to this) is interesting because of the way he poses questions - it reminds me of trial lawyers stating the obvious before they swoop in and lay down the evidence. There is a quality in those questions that could be sincere equerry, but might also be cover to lull the game into believing he's Town early on. Maybe he's just curious, but I'm still sorting out a subtle tension that I get form him. Could be OCD. Could be he's on his way to a brilliant legal career. 

 

Regardless, please consider my vote a bookmark at this point. No one is in danger of being lynched and we're all basically on our first drink at the party. Personally, I like to get a few in me before I lay down serious votes.

I'm about halfway caught up - Got to go for now though.  So far I feel DPR is town.  Liz/Mrs. Clov is confusing - but I've never played with a hydra - so it's just getting used to that.

Sorry I've been absent. I had work and Firefighter class yesterday so didn't get a chance to check in.  

 

I think it might be helpful to explain how I'm looking at things:

 

Scumhunting is the way Townies win. 

 

Tone reading, lock clearing and deep meta comparisons are basically a waste of time.

 

Scumhunting consists of, among other things, spotting players who present circular arguments, determining when "logic" is self serving and connecting the dots where alliances are forming.

 

So far I have Eldrick down for ignoring common sense logic and presenting circular arguments.

 

Kizzy Clov is guilty of self serving, presenting circular arguments and going into full-tilt panic mode, despite the  vote count against them never going to L-1 (which is where the pressure point is, imo).

 

Both slots are working what I see as an alliance.

 

Both slots seem the obvious choices to lynch. I have thoughts on some other players, but none this defined.

 

It's that simple.

 

Kizzy Clov is my choice to lynch today and Eldrick is on my radar to sweat tomorrow.

I get confused easily so it's hard to post all my reads especially since I got on with a little over an hour to deadline.

 

I have a town read on DPR and Hallia - speaking honestly though - I always have a town read on Hallia.

 

Tinker I'm leaning scummy.  Jumps in and places votes with little or no explanation.

 

NotBob seems to have a don't care attitude about his train.  I don't like that and it pokes my gut feelings.

 

The LizClov train seem convenient most of the day. I know why they were defending and feel that towards the end they were moving away from that.  Gut feeling doesn't like this train.

 

I've gone back and forth on Eldrick - but the quote from Seph summarizes what I feel now.

Look at day 2 people. kronos viewed a red. what you have to understand is the mafia knew that. eldrick says he knew he was visited therefore most likely assumed it was a cop role. the first votes before kronos reveal probably has 1 guarantee wolf. possibly 2.

 

I have ideas in my head but i need to go back and read it as well, ill be around in 30 minutes, and Thank god you came back cass!

this is why.

eldrcik basically outed the scum team as having some type of watcher. knowing he had been visited I doubt the would read him as town day 2 as alot of folks did tbh.

Your concern makes sense. You are assuming that I'm scum, that scum has a watcher, and that I offered some elaborate scheme to get them to target me.

 

Question though. If you were in my place. If you had been asked to make some obscure choice, without knowing who was making you choose or why, how would you respond?

 

Dice has a point here as well tbh. they were probably fishing to see who all targeted him that night hoping for any pr view to out them. luckily it was just kronos :)

I really don't like how bloodthirsty Darthe seems. Liz and I have gone back and forth on him quite a bit, and a lot of things make sense if he's scum. Both NB and Eldrick were on Darthe off and on, and it seems like this team has been bussing a lot. I keep going back to Darthe voting Kronos early the day we lynched Eldrick, before Kronos had even posted, with no reason. I could easily see Darthe having some scum ability to see who targeted his teammates.

I was thinking it was odd she somehow picked one of the 2 watchers day 1. I was about to go read her =p. I also think tink is a wolf this is his first post d2 

Up to page 50, Crush and Eldrick are pushing entirely different agendas. Not massively confident in my reads.

 

Eldrick flip flopping doesn't ring any bells but usually he walks through almost all small details which he shows when he says things like "he wrote scum before he wrote town. Indicative?" and things like that but when it came to LizClov he looked super hesitant to join on her votes despite the fact that she was playing ridiculously scummy and when he finally does it's with the reason that she was asking "who my teammates would be?". Sad excuse to vote, like he needed a new reason to vote her since he didn't want to look like he was "bandwagoning". 

 

Then he changes his mind when she loses heat because of the amount of heat she's gotten but has slowly convinced himself without having posted much about it in the thread - not in line with his meta.

I mentioned Crush because on page  35 or something Liz had lost a lot of momentum, DPR voted her to bring her back to 3 votes and Crush calls her a "solid scum" but doesn't vote until later.

 

I'm going to take a look at NB train later because I actually didn't think he looked to be playing too differently to how he normally does but I seem to be inept at reading him.

 

thoughts on this darthe? I want to continue reading before i condemn tink as I have sussed him quite a bit imo.
