Cuth, just a few more strings - Why did you ask Seph specifically to move off of our wagon and not enyone else (like Eldrick, who was also posting at the time). And why were you so certain about Tinker being scum on D2? I noticed you and Eldrick were arguing back and forth about whether Darthe or Tinker was the better lynch before Kronos made his claim.

 

I have some questions for Crusher, Seph, and Darthe, but I'm going to save them for later so they don't get lost.

because at that point in time i was not townreading eldrick like i was townreading seph

 

was 90% confident on him being town and wanted to see how eldrick'd react

 

because tinker was scummy

 

he got way better though

The sheriff thought he was having a heart attack when he awoke, the thumping in his chest was so loud.  But the thumping was coming from his front door, along with a muffled voice calling his name.

 

He was prepared for trouble this time, at least.  He'd fallen asleep atop the coverlet, fully dressed, anticipating he would not pass another night undisturbed.  Self-congratulation was a poor substitute for a restful night's sleep, but it was the best the sheriff could have hoped for these days.

 

He answered the door with a brusque nod.  The man on his front porch was one he'd spoken with the day before and asked to walk the streets overnight, keeping an eye out for trouble.  Jonas had a level head, and would be less likely to cause a panic telling sensational stories in the saloon if he encountered a body.

 

"There's been another one," Jonas spoke with a low voice that wouldn't carry far.  The sheriff appreciated his discretion.

 

"Take me to it, then," the sheriff directed, slipping on his duster.  The two men walked side-by-side in silence to the dusty alley behind the saloon, where the body was found slumped against the back wall with blood drying on his face.  The mask he wore might have been enough to identify him, but the soft, sad whickering of his patiently waiting horse made it sure.

 

 

Dice, the Lone Stranger, Town Even Night Witness, has been killed.
