I have yet to use Bela - probably for a show of friendship, would be how I'd use it. As for the sword, I've used it equally to mean "Yays!!", "Bad azz", and when no other icon fit but I wanted to express a reaction lol so... 🤷‍♀️

I think that is the reason they showed Moiraine and Lan: Moiraine underestimates the situation, saying "It's not about [Suan} today" So does Alanna, when she tells her Warders that they've got it covered and shouldn't worry.

In the preview, there is a white metal ring that looks very much like what I pictured the Ter'angreal for the Accepted test. I'm curious to see how it will be used. Also curious what the show's take on Faile will be...

That is most likely true, @Turin Turambar... And you are making an excellent point, @Ithillian Turambar Sedai. I thought I caught a glimpse of the Black Sitters looking around the room when they first joined Liandrin. If the show respects the "heart" structure of the BA in the books, then it stands to reason that not all of them knew each other before that moment.

I shared the shock, and so did the other Sitters, obviously! That is a really good point about Verin... I had not considered it, but the fact that she effectively blocked the attack could indeed indicate she was prepared. Would she have risked Adeleas, though?

I love that moment in Mat's evolution! Also, the reveal of the meaning of him giving up half the light of the world. He has hard-earned glorious moments. I am curious to see how the show portrays the growth and transformation of Rand and Egwene 😊

In the books... that's difficult, there are so many amazing characters! I like seeing the character development arcs of Nynaeve, Aviendha, or Mat. What about you?
