I think in context what I am saying is clear enough. I'm not making any accusations, or kink-shaming, or anything else, I'm asking for clarification why presenting sex as positive is boring or a bad thing. Why does there have to be some sort of edgy cheap thrill? Compare it to 80s sword and sorcery which were chocabloc full of scantily clad people with some also being full of nudity and sexual violence (Barbarian Queen springs to mind in that regard, the way Lana Clarkson escapes from the dungeon is, well, an eye opener to say the least). Is the argument that that is the only way sex should be presented in the media? Someone getting a vicarious thrill from non-consent or otherwise kinky fantasies does not make them a bad person and I'm not accusing anyone of having those kinks. What I'm asking is why should there needs to be some edge to the sex shown, why mention taboo, people doing what they want, male gaze, etc?

DPR seems the most wolfy so I'll guess I'll leave it there. Voting Marsh seems counter productive as though I think his logic is terrible I have him down as Town. Don't know if there is anything more to say to convince anyone I'm town. I'll ask you all this though, if you think that my wolf equity is so high that you won't trust for the rest of the game, eliminate me now. Resolve the whole issue, don't let the wolves save me to miseliminate later. So long as everyone thinks I'm mafia, it will cloud everyone's reads on anything involving me. Best thing I can do for town that situation is remove any WIFOM around me and let everyone start again without my distraction. So if you don't trust me, vote for me, get it out of the way. Ah, this was I did not like Marsh's reasoning but he hadn't used it to throw suspicion on anyone. He was presenting a false dichotomy that I must be mafia or have an uber good PR, but had not made that argument actually do any work in terms of who was mafia at that point.

I think that is definitely a possibility. I think his reasoning is plausible, but without knowing I'm town why is he calming me down and giving me an out as mafia? Of course, maybe he is just acting as innocent until proven guilty but that has not been my experience of Town!Turin so far, but maybe he has mellowed out since our first game, where he battered me with literally hundreds of posts in a back and forth of t/t violence. Which could I suppose be a reason to not repeat that again, lol.

I'm not resigned, but I accept it as a real possibility. Which does make suspicious of the person that gets the ball rolling, but there you go. I don't see how I can make a "Heavy is town" case. But I can try and make my flip as worthwhile as possible, and I can point out weaknesses in other people's arguments. I would be voting DPR but I'm not completely sold yet, but to me there is something off with his posting. But with lots of people so it cannot all be a W/W love in.

I don't like Marsh's reasoning. Admittedly I'm biased - but even ignoring he is pushing me... But I get the feeling he is honest. He is so certain from my first few posts that I'm mafia that he concocts a trap and risks appearing wolfy to everyone (see Ithi's vote) to catch more wolves. He then elaborately paints Key as a fellow wolf and then predicts people will only be eliminating us three over the coming days. But if he was a wolf, he would know I'm not and all this farfetched theorising would be pointless. And risking being eliminated and flipping wolf himself would equally undermine it all. So if he really means all this, he has to be town. Otherwise it is all just fluff to miseliminate me which seems a bit of overkill at this point.

This seems an odd statement. You are sussing me because of my posting style, why would my posting style become more suspicious if you are town? I mean I get it means you are genuinely motivated to say so but given how many people agree with you I don't think suspicion of me is AI at this point.
