  1. I saw you had "explained" this reaction but can you re-explain cause my simple brain doesn't get this reaction to lynching mafia...did you maybe mean to post that in your scum chat? Honestly, this just really stuck out to me. I haven't thought you scum the whole game but not wanting to over celebrate does not explain being disappointed. First, I'm not an American, I have never once said the above exclamation and maybe my use of it was slightly off key. To take you through my thought process, I wasn't confident of being right, I just didn't see many better options and Darthe's reaction didn't make sense. Then there was a deliberate last second switch and so I pessimistically was building myself up for the disappointment of being wrong, again, of Town losing but at least the game would be over and... [name in RED] well, shoot. It was a kind of mixture of surprise, anticlimax, relief and disappointment the game was going to torture me more. And yes there was a bit of me that wanted to shout YES! But I wanted to keep it classy. There was a lot of emotions chasing themselves about in my head at that point.
  2. As I remember it you were ready voting him, and then Darthe popped up and low key defended Turin while actually talking about something else - or something like that and I felt this is all I have really so made the vote. Pretty sure I was second in the train. Then Darthe gave me his full attention, and criticisms. He may have started with coached bit earlier but I don't think so.
  3. Turin has been definitely solving. Though I cannot shake the feeling that he has started with people he wants to eliminate and the rationalised arguments. There is a certain amount of ad hoc tone to it. Yet he also feels earnest, maybe the mind tricks of genuinely hunting PRs or something. I'm deeply suspicious, but I'm not sure he is any more suspicious than the other options. Though it was my unease at how Turin and Darthe were interacting that caused my vote on Darthe. That might be a piece of luck or just a coincidence.
  4. Has this game been at any other point? , lol.
  5. Yes, I definitely noticed it. I suppose you can add that Dice did exactly the same with GK at D1. But it seemed a rather tame attempt. Would the mafia not act more like a team? Why would not one of them be parked there already and prepare the thread a bit? It felt like one person trying. But yes it is definitely to keep in mind. But it seems strange to me that we have been flailing about this game and yet you are arguing that only mafia were under suspicion. That seems like mafia are very confident of whatever plan they are carrying out. Darthe voted me and DPR then went back to SD. That seems to me to be going back to an easier miselimination, or he is taking big risks to get us to carry out some sort of NA on SD. That doesn't seem to make sense to me, but we dknt knwo the roles so... Dice and Darthe could have been on someone else. Concentrating on a teammate and then allowing us to counter train on another of only three wolves seems like a very big brain plan. Not sure I want to place too much faith into them doing that while also trying to win the game. But the NAs should give some clarity on their plans.
  6. I'm working on the assumption at this point that SD is playing sincerely. This is not a strongly held conviction. But the point I'm making is that as it is Turin's theories are not internally consistent. An induction to a solution can make them more believable. Positing Ed/Turin/SD is telling the truth or not, discuss, does not seem to be helpful without examining their behaviour. WIFOMing about SD being mafia or town to explain his vote doesn't seem to be useful.
  7. By constructing theories and testing them. Like Turin is saying the wolves were trying to protect SD, which I'd why Dice moved his vote. But why then was Darthe voting SD, and why was SD not protecting himself by voting Darthe? If you can speculate something that answers those questions it makes the theory much more plausible. Speculating for the sake of considering every role there could be doesn't seem to help solve anything. We should be starting with suspicious behaviour, even as in the curious incident of the dog in the nighttime, the suspicious behaviour is the lack of something. Is Ed telling the truth just does not seem something that can be discussed outside of what our gut tells us and what can be deducted from facts, which are really thin on the ground when we don't know if the Vig was 1x, or what the mafia roles are.
  8. Something else: such as what if Ed is mafia with a bpv? The real Vig will waste their shot and to everyone else it will look like Ed must be the real deal. Don't know how likely this is, but I'm not sure how speculating or what might happen is going to help.
  9. I don't think so. We are firmly WIFOM territory with claims. Maybe the mafia have a NA reflector or something so Ed is baiting the real Vig's shot which will kill them. Maybe something else, though another bus driver seems unlikely, and a dead Vig turning up would be suspicious for Ed. I don't know. It is an unCC'd claim. It seems likely there is a Vig of some kind out there. I don't understand the concept of a town core. You guys are more trusting than me. This is definitely a important night and it seems a lot of things will be closer to conclusion one way or the other at the end of it.
  10. So DPR has turned into Turin? What is the point of this speculation? We don't even know the claims are true, so building anything on that shaky foundation will be tricky. We also cannot forget the Jailbreak autocorrect that Darthe knew was a jailkeep without clarification and nor did he ask. Yeah, I don't think this game is straightforward at all.
  11. That is definitely what the scene says. But whether we should take that as gospel or just flavour I dont know. Ithi's Among Us involving named characters was totally flavour and Ithi declared it, Darthe's action heros was exactly following the NAs and gameplay and said PAFO to see if it was accurate. I suppose we could ask @keyholder21keyholder21 but maybe it shouldn't really be part of the game.
  12. I get what you are saying but I'm scratching my head a little bit over the wolves voting 2/3 for other wolves. SD can hardly be called a deep wolf, and if his PR is so deadly why was Darthe parked on him as the opening vote the whole game? (I know D1 Darthe was only the leading vote because other people unvoted, but still). I don't want to get into the hole of pretending the wolves will act like I think they will, but your theory seems to be rather contradictory in several places. SD won't vote for Darthe (making him stand out) but Dice will (making him stand out). The wolves want to protect SD at all costs, but Darthe votes for him the whole game and SD didn't protect himself by voting for Darthe (and gaining town cred for doing so willingly). Do you honestly not see these contradictions? Other people's perspective would be welcome. Any time you want to join in, lol. Still asleep at 6am, shocking slanking people.
  13. @Turin Turambar I'm kind of worried about the complicated theorising from you that seems to have switched from DPR and SD being the super obvious wolves (please shoot me now) to Dice and SD being the super obvious wolves (please shoot me now). Shouldn't there be some sort of progression between the two stances? The tone feels so similar. And I still don't see any explanation of how you and Darthe were both so keen on Sinister. Barely anyone has actually voted for Sinister except you two (an exaggeration I know) I mean without Darthe parked there would Sinister ever have been a serious contender? Trying to understand your position here.
  14. Why I'm town? That seems a difficult question to approach. Well, why would I sus Darthe, have a little back and forth with him where he certainly seemed rattled to me, and leave my vote on him all day. A miselimination would have nearly guaranteed a mafia win, so bussing someone that wasn't being sussed hugely seems a strange play. I could have latched onto SD, or joined in the Turin/DPR fun, or slanked, or parked on you or Tigs for a possible CFD. Im not saying that I'm lock clear, or anything close, but I find it difficult to see my behaviour and reasoning to be anything except consistent with being town.
  15. So Turin, you are feeling good about DPR now? What do you think about you and Darthe forming pretty much a voting block the entire game so far? I'm not saying you are wrong but there are a lot of unanswered questions floating about. Sinister is mafia as he wouldn't vote Darthe but Dice is because he did? Could be some nefarious wolf plan but it is no way as simple as you are putting forward. There is something in your tone I don't like, and it was your interactions with Darthe in the first place that made me sus. If it was the wolf plan to CFD Tigs, why not have a placeholder vote on her early doors? That then would be a excuse to change. Parking Darthe on SD the whole game when the slankers could hammer at any point seems a bit risky. I don't think there is anything straightforward about this and we need to get through the NAs which could make or break us before we need to worry about voting so just cool it down, bro. If you're town enjoy this minor victory, and wait see what the morning brings.
  16. Yes I did though I had to Google the initialism to understand what you wee asking, lol.
  17. Which oddity. It would be helpful if you actually shared your insight rather than this type of quoting and pointing. You think I have forgotten about the whole Condemner issue? I had a sinking feeling that again the wolves seemed a bit too content, no one starting other trains etc (Dice was suggesting but not sure that counts). In my limited experience an EoD without a lot of vote changes often limps along to a town elimination. The second quote was me being relieved and trying to stay classy by not overly celebrating or gloating or getting away from the fact we are still a long, long way from the finish line. But it was a good feeling to read Darthe's name in red, ngl.
  18. @dicetosser1 can you explain why you were backing up Darthe when he was arguing that his tone was just fine and no way an overreaction? Be nice to tienoff any loose ends.
  19. Yeah you probably want to stop doing that.
  20. I dunno. SD is looking a lot better as Darthe was leading his train for two days. Who isn't looking better is Turin who has been lock step with Darthe for two days. Hardly a smoking gun but it is not a good look. There is the point that Darthe seemed to be trying to create a town core with DPR and Turin. But was he duping you both or was one of you on the inside already? Does explain how he knew it was T/T if indeed it was, lol. And that means DPR's claim is real. Really? Well.
  21. Unless the bus driver was bussed... But we'll, not everyone can be mafia lol.
  22. Ooo. That aged well. 17 minutes ago, lol.
