What? How does that address the fact you referenced the book in your post about Sandar. I addressed a point you made using the book as a reason for it being Sandar with book points and you have now addressed that with show points?

"Adapted from the 4th book ........... what comes next is at least 8 more books of source material."

S3E2:A Question of Crimson - Discussion

If they had done atrocities during the conflict then that surely would have been a better reason than just openly backstabbing them and forcing the relatives to kill them. -
Mat was under Liandrins watch and then actually with him. In the books i'm fairly sure it was through the dark ones minions locating them, specifically Fain in the beginning that led to him entering the dreams.

Sure that joke is all you took out of that post.

Yes they would but you specifically linked it back to the book in your post as evidence that it could be him.

S3E2:A Question of Crimson - Discussion

You are again just making stuff up. The information we are given is that they opposed her and she has forgiven them. She then betrays them and murders them including a child. I mean I could just make up that the girl who opposed her did so solely by means of politics and did not use any armed forces and was actually a follower of the way of the leaf. -
If fear and anger is enough to trigger that everyone who is feeling that would draw him. He must miss a lot of sleep. Again really not anything to do with the book abilities.

S3E2:A Question of Crimson - Discussion

We can argue about the semantics all day. But it was clearly a betrayal of the ceasefire with the existing rulers. I also find it unlikely that you could get private access to and convince family members of 4 houses to assassinate their own relatives. I mean their positions within their houses who they had sold out to Morgase must be extremely suspect. Morgase has still had a child killed for nothing more than making her own rule easier. -
Quick attempt at rewrite to remove some of the issues. I mean if it is Sandar then why not have him being hired by one of the murder houses relatives to find out about what happened to said relative. He is cautious because he thinks it might involve Aes Sedai from surveillance he has done, he then hears that others are amateurishly asking after the same group so decides to investigate them and then ingratiates himself with them by providing useful information to further his investigation. I would not have him giving the bracelet as it sitting in a shop after thousands of years and him knowing the location is too outlandish. Maybe have him provide the location in a museum or the like and he figured it out from the information he has gathered on the murder house suspects and the questions they have been asking.

That could be the case but we are now dealing with an ability that really bears no resemblance to the one we started referencing from the book. It is now an ability that allows him to sense channelers in the dream and also sense extreme feelings that are not directed at him or allows him to use need with incredible precision on people who would be incredibly unlikely to be in the dream themselves. So it really is something entirely new.

Yeah but he was recommended and hired for that. He was not just some random guy that they met in a bar gambling. Juilin was actually extremely anti-gambling. I feel if it was him they would have mentioned his name.

They are the house. The same as she is the throne. It would be considered the same as the royal we. -
But I think it had to be about that person otherwise you would get drawn into anyones dream who was feeling that way.

I forgot the seal cracked. The Sammael scene was after the conversation I thought and she missed all the actual fighting. I was just pointing out i dont think she has actually seen that much in regards to how strong he is.
-
When has she seen him handle vast amounts of the power? The only time I can remember is when he faced Ishy at the end of season 1 and you would have to question what exactly she would have seen then as she would not have been able to see any weaves and there was little else. She would have seen nothing in season 2 and she has not been present for any of his channeling in season 3. He was solo shielded in late season 2 I think by both Siuan and Leane.

The buffer was more to with being unable to burn out others in a circle with you than being a buffer on the angreal, it was pertinent to Callandor as it had a flaw that allowed the user to be forced into a circle as well as removing the buffer on burning out those in a circle in the books. In the show we already know that you can burn out those in a circle with you. There was a discussion some time back as to if the show had changed angreal from simply being force multipliers to something more but I can't remember what it was exactly in relation to.

Wheel of Time Season 3 - Full Season Discussion
Mailman replied to SinisterDeath's topic in Wheel of Time TV Show
I picked up on that but thought it was okay as Ispan was incredibly scared at the time and a lifetime of saying the Forsaken when describing them as the chosen would have got her in incredible trouble would have been a very natural slip up to make. What I did not like about it was that Moggy did not react to the slight. It had to be one or the other either she makes the mistake and is called on it or she does not make the mistake at all. -
When the girls are learning to surrender to the power they describe being pulled under the surface like a strong current when they try and force the power to do what they want and only when they relax and guide it does it flow easily. I am also fairly sure when Rand is using Saidar at the cleansing that he also tries to force it like Saidan and he describes it as looking placid but when he attempts to force it that it pulls him under the vast torrents of the power. Saidar is often described as a river with deep currents as well. If you are referencing sheer amounts of the power I don't think they ever equated that to drowning.

In the books she talks about being a hunter often and her arc to learning the truth is much longer and comes after learning that one of the forsaken is free. In the show we met her what about mid episode 3 of this season and she has mentioned being a hunter all of a couple of times and her screen time has been incredibly small and she finds out the truth before the end of episode 6. She actually joins Perrin and the rest of the group to lead her to the Horn as it is trail worth following, here she is already in the 2R. All the build up is lost that is why it is a book beat theft.
-
No. It's clearly defined in the book.
-
There would be the writing but I think the only true proof would be blowing it. Finding it stashed at the bottom of the eye of the world with the other items allowed Rand and co to be pretty sure they had the real deal as well. The books had plenty of fake horns and pieces of Logains cloak and such scattered through the story. The WC fake spy master was reported to have bought a number of fake horns if I recall correctly.

Well I wish more people would recognize the shows shortcomings. Don't read my posts if you don't want too, easy solved. Napier's acting has been IMO consistently terrible throughout the show. The only person I have thought was worse was the person who played Uno who looked like he was really trying hard but did not have the skill or look to back it up. I have praised various people for specific acting sequences throughout the show and even in the post you quoted. It does not matter in the slightest what Napier's personal life is I am solely judging him on his acting ability.

I thought the same early but there was a body that at least looked like him in the rubble after Rand started to try and save the girl. Fairly sure Moiraine looked directly at it in one part.
