I am fairly sure she is being reborn at the conclusion of the Last Battle her final discussion with Elayne says as much I think. After the battle she says farewell to Elayne, feeling that her rebirth to flesh is imminent and looking forward to finding Gaidal again From the wiki

Her face is a bit too angular for Min IMO. The prominent nose rang true to me for her as Faile.

Rand and Perrin in particular have a large dose of distaste for their abilities which leads to them being very guarded. Rand has major trust issues and intensely resents being controlled which is not that unfair as everyone is constantly trying to do so. the girls growing ties to the organisations that are leading this effort also do not help.

Disagree. It may be advantageous to join one of the existing whole show threads if you wish to discuss.

In the wiki it said that there were some fan theories that Birgitte being ripped out had led to Cain being spun out but it did not elaborate on what they were. I seem to remember that Birgitte said to Nyn shortly before her removal that she had not seen Cain for some time which is strange as they had been meeting regularly in what was a small amount of time.

I don't think it is impossible when there is already a difference in time within the dream and outside things that bend time like balefire and time distortion due to the bore exist. My main thought that he could be Cain is the constant reminders of the fact he is unattractive and that he is getting an incredible amount of training from the members of the Band. Severely doubt that even if it was true it will ever be confirmed, could be possible thread that was dropped at some point.

The issue with that for me is that if you look at how the book unfolded there is little explanation on the taint and the state of Saidan without the prologue. Brief mentions from Fain and a little around Camelyn with Logain do not adequately cover it IMO. -
You got me I am the king of making excuses for the adaption I am famous for it on here. LOL I did not say they did it well or that it was impossible i took affront to you saying that the internal dialogue in the EOTW was largely useless and almost entirely consisted of a single thing which was blatantly untrue. There are very few people on this board who are more critical than me of the way the "adaption" was handled.

I don't really think you did it for comedic effect and if so it was a total failure. It is still an absolutely insane overexaggeration. Rand and Perrin IMO were the 2 characters that benefited most from internal dialogue in EOTW. Rand with his father issues and Perrin with the wolves and violence. Would it be impossible to do that work in another way absolutely not. Establishing both these narratives is absolutely core to their characters. Could it be done with just a few lines I highly doubt it as this would leave it feeling incredibly shallow. The almost complete removal of Tam from Rands storyline is a terrible disservice to the original story. Does RJ repeatedly have the boys thinking their friends are more accomplished at talking to women yes, however it is usually a single line only and then moved past.

Not sure about that Emonds Field was basically a dank hovel in the show absolutely nothing like the image I had from the books.

Some parts where not perfect the villagers taking out the Dam defenders never felt right unless they had a massive numerical advantage (fairly sure that they had added some soldiers to just the basic villagers). It is possible that Demandred thought he had sufficient numbers there. No need to keep the channeler Mat left behind in the dark about the plan though. Lan definitely said that Demandred was the better swordsman it was caveated by saying it might have been different if he was not as tired as he was but both fighters definitely stated that Demandred was the superior at that moment. Olver was not made into a hero. I think he might have been a young Gaidal Cain but it is not confirmed to the best of my knowledge. Felt that was a long build up the constant talking about how ugly he was and how Birgette was attracted to ugly men.

I don't think Mats skills were useless, the battle was a close run thing and could have fallen either way no matter Demandreds eventual fate excluding his channeling but that was negated as he did not want to tire himself and expose himself to a counterattack from Rand who he believed was present. The lights forces were the underdog and Mat had to keep the battle going till he hoped he got a chance to tilt it in his favour. The duels while foolish were a symptom of Demandreds arrogance and pathological need to best Rand/LTT to prove he was the better man. Also in his defence he established in each of the duels pretty early that he was the better swordsman. I would have had Lan die from his wound if it was up to me.

Things you find funny in the books (spoilers)

Mats letter to Elayne was great as well. -
I actually laughed when it happened. Only actor worse than Napier in the series.

California might have something slightly more important going on atm. -
Thinking rafe could adequately finish the series in 16 more episodes is hopelessly optimistic. Even if he actually had the skills to tell a good story in the first place reducing the rest of the series to 16 episodes would be basically impossible for the very best screenwriters in history. It truly is time that writers rooms got cut back massively far too many cooks are spoiling far too much.

I am not saying time limitations are not a major issue but 10 minutes for set up is hardly excessive. It must also be remembered that the release was 3 episodes in one go so that is close to 3 hours, hiding a bit of extra groundwork in that timeframe is not as noticeable as the standalone releases. -

Prologue 100% Sets everything up wonderfully. The Dragon, Ishy, Shai'tan, the taint and the madness, the idea of rebirth, epic timeline. -
