  1. Sorry for the sporadic updates recently. I've been super busy and then super tired.
  2. We head to the bridge Story Update – Day 6, Mid-Afternoon: With Nyra gently hovering beside you, you step onto the Skyreach Bridge, a graceful spiral of pale stone and enchanted currents. As your foot touches the first step, the air shifts—light and pressure responding to your presence. The Codex pulses warmly, attuning to the currents. Each step feels like part of a dance. A faint hum rises with your movement, and Nyra flutters ahead, her glowing form matching the rhythm. The bridge’s enchantment doesn’t fight you—it tests your harmony with it. You cross. Beyond, the doors to the final trial open without a sound. A vast chamber spreads before you: Dozens of floating platforms, drifting in patterns like clockwork gears. Crystal pylons suspended mid-air, spinning slowly, each chiming with a different tone. A distant Wind Guardian, feathered cloak billowing, standing atop the final dais. Silent, waiting. Your Codex vibrates. Trial of Attunement Initiated. Align yourself to the rhythm of Skyreach. Fail, and the wind shall cast you down. You step onto the first platform. Nyra hums, syncing her glow with the platform’s pulse. Air Trial Begins – The Trial of Attunement Challenge: Time each platform hop to the correct rhythm, then align three harmonic pylons mid-jump. Final platform leads to the Wind Guardian. Success grants: Elemental Glyph of Air, increased Air affinity, possible Air relic reward. Current Stats: HP: 27 / 27 EP: 15 / 17 Fatigue: Moderate Trial Buff: Familiar Rhythm (boosts timing-based actions this trial) Spirit Familiar: Nyra (Curious Bloom) Next Actions (Choose one): Begin the Trial's platform rhythm test – Trust Nyra’s cues to time your leaps. Examine the nearest harmonic pylon – Analyze its tone and phase before jumping. Ask Nyra to scout the platform pattern – She may give you a safe route suggestion. Focus Codex energy into a Light Weave – Stabilize your steps with a temporary platform spell. Backtrack to rest before attempting – Reduce fatigue and restore EP (will reset trial entry). What’s your move?
  3. Lol totally didn't partly pick them for that reason. Also yeah Turin's team got good, but what that means is Sky keep blackouting his games so he can't watch them on his gamepass. It's like be good but not too good hahaha My team does NOT have that problem.
  4. The casing posts by players, or the story updates by darthe? It is hard to get the game dialogues to read nice, when a lot of people are on phones. What looks like a lovely easy read does get condensed into blocky squares of text, when you transpose it from laptop to phone size.
  5. At least it's not a school night this time.
  6. I am Chicago Bears because Turin is Detroit Lions so we get to have good fake rivalry because we in the same division.
  7. Also it is my team picking now and because I don't actually have a clue I have to ask Turin if we got a good one lol
  8. So glad the we have day two of NFL pick to help pass the time. What I've learned so far is that you have to boo the Commissioner and day 2 is better than day 1 because they have more cameras in their homes so you get the yay happy moments with their families.
  9. Also I did manage to get some sleep and am feeling a lot more human. Hopeful that Darthe will be on time >.> Because these late nights are killing me.
  10. My two Mafias being Heavy and Tigs My 3rd Party being Rand
  11. I think you should maybe go and have a re read of Day 1 again I have, just a skimming read, but Marsh said he came to defend you initially because he thought you were new. He was worried about LEADING a Lynch on a new player. I found that added to my thoughts about him being Mafia cos how could he lead a Lynch that I'd started? Now I did not know Marsh alignment, and you'd been Heavy on the wordage, so to me I could not understand why Town Marsh would step up for no reason. To me a Town would not know you were Town so why get involved at such an early point of the game. He later advised that he came to think that you were actually Mafia and his seeming defence might cause people to vote him - which it did. One of his posts actually says Heavy is scum right at the very top. Before he goes on to list other people and why he thinks they might be Mafia. And it was that which caused me to double down, cos if you put Heavy is Scum but then go on to vote another person it gives me the heebie jeebies cos surely you vote for who you think is most Mafia. I'm sorry Marsh but at this point I'd gone all in and again this looked like throwing cover and reasons to not be voting you. The thing is, not believing what a person says is not the same as actively lying. If DPR did not believe Marsh, that does not mean DPR is lying about what his interpretation of events was. I did not believe Marsh but youve not called me out for lying. you say i am intractable, which is a failing of mine it's true, and i am critical of everything. But not that im a liar. Apparently you do not believe that DPR had that interpretation but to then stretch this out to be actively lying is a bit much. But I'm finding it hard to figure out why you cling to this reason as your main sus of DPR, along with of course he's a big ol meanie head, but then also say that you don't find his actions to be anti Town. it's like you've got this one thing, and it's your go to reason for DPR. So I'm thinking that maybe this is because you don't have anything else, and you are trying to distract us from looking this up and seeing that dead Town Marsh actually had you fully as Mafia. So you've actually adopted Marsh thoughts about DPR and are using them as your own.
  12. American football when the college kids get picked by the proper teams to play for them. Still a 🦆move @RandA lThor
  13. Feck me nyn I was so ready for that to be another go at me that I actually fired up a post that started with 'absolute gollocks' and then I took a deep breath and actually read what you said. Yeah I probably should sleep. I think I got 3 ish hours last night because we stayed up to watch the first part of the nfl draft. And I am running on empty.
  14. Don't you even start. Did you read after Ed claimed? Did you just start from when he got the name wrong. There was all kinds of hoo ha about believing and not believing and I'm pretty sure at one point there were requests for other people to unvote. You guys, although tbf Rand was adamant we should vote Ed, were going freaking round and round until I mentioned garbage set up info from Ed. And then when I said why I was voting him he said he protected nyn. There's even another post from Dice? Saying nah I got that wrong and that's not what Ed was saying. And of course Ed did lie and gave wrong info and changed the name of his protect. But cheese louise forgive me if I was super Fluffing happy that I caught that error. If I get lynched because I parked in the wrong spot, while you all yuck it up at how clever you were to spot the wrong name. When the wrong name would not even had been said if I didn't call out the set up info. Then I don't know what to tell you. Jerk.
  15. She is very helpful, so yes. Let's ask her Story Update – Day 6, Early Afternoon (continued): You glance toward the floating spiral bridge, but pause, turning your attention to Nyra. The little familiar twirls once, trailing a faint shimmer of Spirit-laced air before landing on your shoulder with a curious tilt. “Nyra,” you murmur, “do you know anything about the next trial?” Her body pulses faintly with light, and a ripple of memory flows through your Codex—Familiar Insight activated. Images flicker across your vision: —A vast chamber of shifting air currents, beams of golden light slicing through clouded vaults. —Stone platforms drifting in rhythm with an unseen pulse. —A silent wind guardian robed in feathers and bound lightning, watching from above. —Three crystal pylons, each humming with a different frequency. Nyra hums low. “Trial of Attunement. Not just about wind... it’s about harmony between motion and intention. Wrong steps, and the air will reject you.” She rests against your neck, gaze on the distant end of the bridge. “But you’re not alone. I’ll help guide your rhythm when the wind speaks.” Codex Insight Gained: Trial of Attunement is based on timed movement and energy pacing. Crystal pylons must be aligned mid-trial. Nyra will assist with rhythm-based cues once inside. Updated Stats: HP: 27 / 27 EP: 15 / 17 Fatigue: Moderate Insight Buff: Familiar Rhythm (grants improved reaction cues during movement-based puzzles/trials for the next challenge) Spirit Bond: Nyra (Curious Bloom) is now more attuned to Air Next Choices: Cross the Skyreach Bridge – Enter the chamber of the final Air Trial. Rest briefly at the wind shrine – Reduce fatigue and recover EP before attempting the trial. Use Wind Step to reach an upper alcove – Possibly find an air relic or Codex lore. Practice rhythmic movement with Nyra – Hone timing before entering the trial. Return to the echoing wind chamber – Revisit completed trial instruments. What will you do?
  16. Lol just remembering it is winding me up. I should probably get my work finished cos there's no way I would ever stay 1 minute longer than I'd have to. Before the long commute to my sofa.
  17. I appreciate this cos you know on Day 1 I got it wrong cos i saw something where there wasnt anything. But i was so certain at the time. and when Ed said his thing about the whole roleblock proving he was the doc I was like a ha! But then he said I had the name wrong and I didn't want to make a mistake again, just cos I mis remembered what he said. So I do the right thing, go and check that he DID say Dice and freaking vote him again. And I absolutely was very annoyed to be left out of the celebration. Seething really.
  18. Most of his list was blank. It was a crap list because he probs didn't want to give any info out if he died. Which is why I asked him to make the list because I thought it would probably be a crap list. Which it was.
  19. Of course if your science was already on the slow train, then ignore me because you already realised that lol
  20. And to be honest, my first choice to vote today was Tigs, but then Darthe posted a vote count that had Ed and DPR tied. And I think DPR is Town, so I changed to Ed to make him have more votes. Because he was my other highest Mafia possibility. And THEN the whole claim thing went down. So if you know how to use vote places to work out who the Mafia are @Zander? you probably need to check the first train up to the point Ed claimed and also the 2nd one where he was actually Lynched. And factor in on the second one everyone voted at roughly the same time, and the order is in whatever DM allowed to update first, because Ed forgot he'd said Dice and thought Nyn was a Nun.
  21. Well I thought Rand might be the 3rd Party. Cos there was a bit where darthe clarified the condemn dude role and Rand said he liked that because it made it more purposeful. And he put it in italics like that. And Darthe did say the condemn dude would be on Towns side to start with because they can't win with the Mafia. But I don't know if anyone would really soft claim that role so I could be jumping at shadows there.
  22. Yeah I unvoted because he claimed Doc and voted tigs again. When Ed did the whole roleblock proves I'm the doc. I voted him again straight away. And then he said I was mistaken cos he protected you. So I unvoted again to be sure. Saw he was lying and voted him again.
  23. I think Turin has probably had more than enough being poked at 😞 I'm just gonna say that it's probably not fun being called wolfy all the time even if it's hahaha so funny. and even the best of people, which I think he is, can get to a certain point where they lose sight of this just being a game.
  24. This bit is pretty brave tbh as the general consensus is that Nyn is Town, so props for this. And then Ed comes up with his garbage well Dice got roleblocked so that must mean my actions was successful. And I'm like, wtf, why would Dice getting roleblocked prove your action worked. Because if you agree he was roleblocked, why would they try and kill him too. So him not dying doesn't prove youre the doc. and then he said he protected Nyn. And i thought id done my pretty common thing of misreading something. So i unvote and go back to check. meanwhile the Rand is screaming at me that he did say Dice. and then i find his first claim posts and saw that he did say dice and call him out as a liar and revote him... but lots of other people had already voted by then. it was all super fast tbh. but he was in my 2 probs Mafia already because his list was garbage and super neutral. and so back to Tigs. She finally votes Ed. But again it was all super fast. My phone froze up at one point and that usually happens when theres lots of activity. But I had her as mafia and to me it seemed like she was trying to not vote Ed too soon. And my other mafia pick yesterday was Ed. And he is dead. And he was mafia. And I guess Heavy but that was just cos I find it hard to shake off first impressions.
