NotBob is always weird. He looks like he's hunting scum and that's good enough for me for now. Bigger fish to fry.

How does wanting to lynch between the claimed PRs constitute as "hunting scum"?

So, Shad is definitely town here. There is a daylight difference between this game and his previous game where he was wolf. More assertive and more curious.

This is still true.

Darthe could easily be a wolf.  No shot.  We'll see.  You're not a wolf but I don't think NB's ever let claims hold him back.

I mean he's not lock town for me but it's not out of character for his scum game and there are bigger concerns.

Darthe - Being weird. #889 - Why is this a good post? I’m not sure what the point of this post was. I really don’t think it was like massively insightful into the alignment of Shad and it seems strange that of all Shad’s post, that one in particular stood out to him.

#918 - ??

#914 - Not sure how characteristically Darthe this is. Seems like he’s making some overly obvious reads and going out of his way to state how some very ordinary posts are good and others are bad.

Shad - Leaning town. It's the tone more than anything else. I haven't really seen him as aggressive as this early on D1 but imo he's got the tendency to overthink things and I can't be sure if he's got a scum read on DPR or if his frustration is more with finding out exactly how DPR thinks. I can chalk up his aggression to more that more than him entering the game as scum and overcompensating. Don't think the interaction with Eldrick is meaningful.

Nyn's not dumb and wolf!her would be aware that villagers are expecting her to behave like a hydra.

I've seen a few positive indicators and am waiting to see more; consider it a cautious town lean, but I think phrasing her reads as QT posts is entirely null.

This is a good post from Shad

DPR,

We don't agree on how to play the game. That's fine. But the fact that most of your game thus far has focused on that rather than figuring out people's alignments is something I am starting believe means you are probably scum.

Let's take your last post, you break down my post saying im framing my arguement to make you look bad but end it with a comment implying you still think im town. Great, you have an open mind, that is good, but right now, if you had to guess, take a stance and tell me if im a wolf or a villager. I promise you can re-evaluate later.

I am trying to figure out if you are just stubborn about giving reads or if you are just focusing on how people play because that is something that is easy to talk about has any alignment.

I recommend waiting til lylo to resolve him

NB, give me some thoughts pls

I'd like some blood in the water, WTL Darthe, Shad or Eldrick.
Nb prob a wolf
Finally getting around to seeing what posts are referenced here, and why it was such an issue (hate when people just reference post numbers but /shrug)

Now then. First one is classic Darthe. Commenting on a random comment is entirely null for him.

Second one is a good observation. Particularly with players that are very different than we are used to, giving time to adjust to each other is just wise. Oh well.

Third. Snap reads like that are also null. And likely accurate in this case.

It's not about claims holding him back. I found it odd that the people he listed are specifically the ones that claimed.

It's also odd that you are no longer on his list.

May have fallen asleep mid read

Ok, not sure I'm going to be able to pull this slot out of the POE so sorry for that

Struggling a lot with lack of context, Shad's catch up posts are actually pretty useful in terms of digging through the back stuff, but most are sending me down the rabbit hole all over again. Most of what it's telling me is that WiFi is probably town this game. Will ISO for peace of mind

Superficial reads still

Eldrick is probably town. Don't really see him tying himself so closely with Calder if they're m/m and I don't see the benefit of mafia!Eldrick clearing Calder for no reason (Eldrick's being townread and doesn't need the credit the claim brings, that said I'm struggling to see the motivation for tracking Darthe as either alignment, as it's a provable claim. I don't really want to think about the snap vote just yet, need to mull it over some. But he's still posting without filter, ideally I'll read through Ragnarok or SN to remind me of his mafia game, but not a priority.

To deal with Shad/Darthe and belatedly Nyn, yes the reads are shallow, I've already stated my position this game in terms of what I've read and consequently a lot of my positions are vibes which feels dirty but is what I have. Having sat in a scum QT with Shad saying how easy it is to sit back as scum and be generically villagery as opposed to actually being villagers, I'm going to take the poking as a good sign, and re-evaluate with new data. Is this out of your mafia meta, no, I was with you in Usual Suspects, but that was over a year ago and your mafia game hasn't been as 'aggressive' since. Similarly with Darthe my position is mostly that he's self resolvable, again I'm not going to waste much time worrying about a slot that sorts itself out 9 times in 10.

And no, I don't know why I'm not dead, but fwiw I wasn't a terrible vig choice, although your stated reasoning is pretty poor

Calder is extremely difficult for me to read without context to see if his pushes make 'sense'. Eldricks result looks good for now

AJ doesn't have the bite I expect and I (obviously) dislike his reasoning on sussing this slot due to the sub, while not addressing the fact she subs as both alignments (and actually this bugged me so I checked in Shads database :p - as far as I can tell her sub rate is in line with her rand rate at least off the top of my head) and none of this is relevant to anything, other than being a weak reason for AJ to promise vote this slot.

I feel I should have a better read on Bop, sounds good, but not sure how alignment indicative that is. Only thing that stands out from today is his 'shelving Eldrick' comment, but need to search for a few things I vaguely remember before I prod this too much

I'll have to finish up tomorrow, will have more time to dig in hopefully, need to reread start of day

Currently feeling worst about AJ (will try to determine how much is OMGUS tomorrow lol)

If anyone has any questions not related to Sooh subbing, or if I've missed anything addressed to me, I'll try to answer tomorrow

This is basically why I changed to calder.

And then there wasn't a second kill, so...

Yes. At start of Day, I didn't think it entirely possible that darthe was lying. Primarily why I voted.

I also wanted to see how other people felt about it. Mission success.

There are many possible variables, but the most likely are

1) he's telling the truth and you survived for #reasons

2) he's scum and lying

And like I said if he's telling the truth, he was probably stopped because of who he listed as probable targets.

And if he's lying he won't be the one shooting tonight because scum knows I exist so /shrug

There's many ways to help town and providing direction is one of them through claims, strong reads, and changing the overall pace and of the game. The only direction AJ has provided is by nudging along direction that is already there. Waiting for him to flip and vote me now.

Show me.
