Have you ever reconsidered your read on me and Eldrick?

You've had posts where it seemed like you did, but then you dropped it because "it's not enough to overshadow the bad" I believe was similar to your wording. You have to understand that reading you under these circumstances with you effectively refusing to reconsider your reads makes it really hard to read you. Your last bit here on BFG and Pral has been eye-opening in that case.

I gotta back up.  "Eye-Opening".  What an amazing lack of information that descriptor provides.  Can I borrow that for later?

Pral;s approach came FROM a TOWN read to all of sudden viewing everything irt from a Scum!Zander PoV once I was getting some suss.

I've had a few moments, but I'm never waffling.  I adamantly don't think you're town, and if you're reading your partners posts irt me you should really see why.

I'm reading my partner's posts. He's literally showing you every single paranoid thought and theory he has. Are you reading mine?

 

Imagine for ONE MINUTE that we're town. Do you realize how hard it is to be level headed with you this game? Regardless if you're town or scum, it has been almost impossible to talk to you without being dismissed. Part of me thinks that a townie would be more interested to flush out what their suspects have to say about the game or people in it, while the other part thinks you might just be stubborn as hell, and that scum you would at least put up the pretense of hunting for other scums, because that's not something I've seen much of from you this game. 

 

Let's play it out then.  Your partners every paranoid thought, btw, should be kept off thread because here?  It's gameplay.  

 

But sure, say you're town.  I'm dogging you about as relentlessly as Zander did Cass, so you're probably frustrated with me and paranoid at this point that I am a wolf cause how could a townie do this to you??  Been there, most of us know what that's like from one time or another.  If you're town though, there's a huge problem.  Zander got ahead so he is off the table but Laya and Dice and BFG and I?  We could be interchanged on a list with a couple of better or worse posts.  Laya?  Really astute but also really tied to Shad, and I'd say he can fake a townie string, also had that issue at EoD yesterday with voting but I don't think that is unsensible tbh.  Dice, clean atm but historically a bit less present and some of his points are really unfounded.  BFG, unsound logic lately and not as present as she should be, and some opportunistic pushes in the late game.  Me?  One focus and one focus only, and I don't play a lazy game but I also don't reread or do the whole high effort case thing.

 

Who you gonna pick?  At this point it's a matter of somehow putting together a team all at once and it clicks or we are done for.

 

So no, I like my chances chasing the lead I found 180 pages ago, and I'd rather show others what I see.  I trust myself.

Ok bottom line the way I see it right now:

I'm not feeling BFG this game. At all. The passion and the level of engagement with the thread and the people just isn't clicking for me. There's something about her posts that reads almost mechanical. I'm not great at expressing myself here, but there you have it. 

 

Pral's actions make sense to me. I know they don't to a bunch of others, but I can see why he has done what he has this game. The only reason I hesitate to just straight up call him town is because he's so good at being scum. I still think odds are he's town here. 

 

Darthe, while giving me an aneurysm, is someone I hesitate to just straight up call scum, because as scum his actions don't really make sense. Why would he be intent on lynching us for 4 days straight and not gain any traction, but still hang on to that read and basically push nothing else? I don't see it. 

 

Zander is probably in his town range, and if this somehow is one of his scum games, congratulations. I'm not backing down from a town read there. 

 

Therefore, with all that said and done, I think the team is Dice/BFG, and so I guess we're going with BFG today.
