Have you ever felt...lost?  Like you're running up a staircase and getting further away from your destination with every step?

 

He had the most amazing blue eyes.  I wonder what they looked like before...

 

He was always the strongest of us.  But something was missing.  For a while, I think maybe he - the real him - was missing.  Even still, he led everyone.  Because he was able to be strong, we were able to be strong.  When he went away, we all felt something go with him.  A piece of ourselves.  Maybe it was...hope.  I wasn't sure I'd ever see him again.

 

I don't know how he was able to overcome everything that had happened to him.  I'm sure the scientists would say it was the Mako that gave him strength, but I know that's not the case.  They'd say he was a failed experiment, but that's not the case either.  Every day of our lives is an experiment.  It's another test to finally get it right.  No matter how lost and confused he was, he didn't fail.  Without him...none of us would be here.

The main protagonist of the story, you're both an apathetic supersoldier with a complicated past and a whiny little kid that never really got out of puberty.  Needless to say, you're widely popular throughout the gaming community and one of the most recognizable characters of all time.  You also have a giant sword that probably weighs as much as I do, which you can lift with one hand for no real reason.

Once a member of the evil Turks organization, you then had sex with a doctor and somehow ended up being a vampire that turns into a giant purple rage monster and shoots things.  I don't really get it either, but you were cool enough to get your own spinoff game.  You also were drafted by the Patriots in the 2016 NFL Draft, so if the whole monster assassin thing doesn't work out, you'll still be okay.
