Welcome to today's episode of "Chris outsources important life decisions to people on the Internet".  Today's topic: should I sleep for the next hour, before I have to get up for a conference call?

 

If I go to bed and wake up, I will probably throw one of my coworkers off a cliff.

 

If I stay up, I am almost certain to choke someone today.

I'm wondering about your current thoughts on Sooh, Kat, Pral, and Csarmi?

Same thing to @Nyn when she gets here.

 

I touched on Pral here when I responded to you yesterday. Out of the four he's the slot that bothers me less. His read on Cory and how adamant he is about it is a good look. It doesn't feel like it's a push with an agenda. With that said I would like him to post more and take more stances on the rest of the players. I'm drawing a blank on who his other suspects are. I think he had a couple of town reads on D1. That's about all I recall.

 

I touched on Sooh and Salami here. With Salami, I still feel like he's dragging his feet, overall missing the fire and he seems unwilling to commit to reads. Kinda floating. Thing is, it doesn't even feel like being low on WIM, it just comes across like he doesn't give a ****. And in my experience he cares when he's town. Sooh has been underwhelming. And using a tidbit her hubhub gave me to read her, she's not looking great (no, I'm not gonna share :P). I also feel like her responses in her exchange with Cory leave a lot to be desired. I just came out of a hydra game with her and I was the angry head that bit people's heads off and she was the sensible, diplomatic and well spoken head. So her demeanor when responding last night is iffy.

 

As far as Kat, sure, she takes a while to warm up. So I've accepted that I won't get much from her on D1 as of rule and that's fine. But I feel like she hasn't progressed much from it, which is worrying. I find it odd that she's so confident about Cory, because she's paranoid by nature and even when she townreads someone, she tends to openly debate the read throughout the game. But what bothers me even more is the discrepancies in doing so. Her being so sure of Cory and me but going back and forth about BFG is odd. Also her reasoning irt BFG doesn't add up to me. She has a problem with BFG having a good impression of her for not apparent reason D1, but at the same time the reason she provides for town reading me is gut. eh.

I ISOd Sooh last night and think I'm in the same thought process as Nyn, her game is safe while in (eg) Demons Cove she was more proactive. I have a slight issue with that in that this is a bit of an odd game in terms of cohesiveness, it's still not in her game. Early game she sorta susses Alanna, but backtracks when pressed, except she doesn't, same with Liz. Early game I thought it was an attempt to get stuff moving, but it never goes anywhere

Kat/Liz - I wish I could but I really just don't have them. From Liz what comes to mind is the way she kept nagging Darthe about Darthe's obvious joke quetsion to you (are you always serious so soon). About Kat what I can recall is her approach of you (warning people that you could fool them).

 

As for Sooh, I haven't changed my mind. I'm just completely torn there. On the one hand I don't like her actions and people (mostly Cory) keep saying she was a wolf (these do get to me actually), on the other hand I really could just take her actions for a confused villager and there's that TWTBAW. So I just don't know anymore.

 

Regarding the Darthe thing - when he finally got around to answering me, Darthe didn't say it was a joke. He said he wanted her to answer the question. So I don't know how you're getting the "obvious joke" thing.

If it were a joke why wouldn't he just say "it's a joke" if he was giving up?

I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility. Especially if it's a team of two. But that is not what has bothered me about him specifically.
