After a discussion with myself, I've decided NOT to modkill everyone and end the game for ignoring me wishing you all a happy Tom Brady day.  But don't think I'm happy about it.

BFG is a villager or having an all-time wolf game and as much as I'm fond of her abilities it's basically always the former so she's 100% ruled out for me

Pral I think has to be a villager at this point

Nyn I have doubts every now and then but there's a lot of big +s for her in the thread that I really don't want to step that back so I'm just not going to

Csarmi - my last guess for a villager based on his thought process and general background engagement and as much as I dislike most of his reads I would guess they're well-intentioned

Does anyone remember my big rant in Spirited Away as to one of the reasons I wanted to lynch BFG (despite, against, immense pushback from the thread, SHOCKING SURPRISE) being that the way she was making reads was in line with what she is supposed to think as opposed to what she actually thinks - my example being something like a post she made where she said "I think Sili is town because his aggressiveness is usually a sign of his village game" or something like that

 

Sooh's read on BFG is the same sort of deal - Sooh doesn't read BFG's posts and think they are [villagery], just comments that BFG has reached the "volume count" where BFG is typically a villager

 

You're quoting super early stuff when I was trying to get a read on people and trying to spin it as scummy rn. She has done plenty in the mean time to solidify that read. The BFG meta of post count has been relevant, particularly in her scum games.

Darthe I had as a okay probability villager at EoD1 and Laine I had as a villager almost all of d1

This leaves a short list. 

 

3. Lizabeth - i don't know. The other game I have played with her I thought she was slightly scummy the whole game and she was town. 

4. Csarmi - don't know what to expect. Never played with before. All of ya'll seem to like his EoD but to  me it's like he came in just in time to stir the pot and create confusion. 

5. Prallia (Pralaya/Hallia) - eh. they haven't posted enough for anything so i'm not sure where to put them. Pral always thinks i'm scummy I usually think he's scummy because normally as inactive as I am I have many more posts than him. I hate his case on Cory. I think it's crazy and very well could be scum trying to push someone he knows could be a danger to him and Hallia when she starts posting. Which brings me to Hallia. I would have thought that she would have posted SOME at night. But she hasn't. The last time Pral had a partner that pretty much had radio silence (granted with a good excuse) he ran that game. I would remember. I was the partner. And he's one heck of a wolf. I'd like to hear more from him with better reasoning than ONE game maybe a year ago.

6. BFG - I'm not sure what to think of BFG. I almost feel like she knows too much. Her read on me early game... I don't know where she got it from but I know it's right. 

7. Sooh - I'm fixin to do an ISO of. She's been fairly active in the game. But I think that Cory has had some valid points on her. 

 

So right now if i had to choose 3 i'd probably go Csarmi, Prallia, Sooh, in no particular order. But i'm about to ISO all three of those and see what I come up with. shouldn't take me long with the first two anyway. 

 

 

 

Can you clarify about Liz. You're talking about what she's done in a previous game... but not in this one. Are you saying she's pinging you here? if so can you expand? 

 

Anything about Hallia not being around Is moot in my eyes. Is there anything other than his read on Cory that bothers you about Pral/Hallia slot?  

 

What's exactly giving you pause about BFG? I can sort of get your cautioning early on but we're deep enough into the game now and BFG's involvement has not diminished. She's been hands on the entire time. And If I recall, your last reads post before weekend hit was that you had BFG, me and Ironeyes as town. What has BFG done since that has pushed her back down to dunno territory?

With Liz.... I meant that as, the last time I played with her I thought her play was slightly scummy, and I find it slightly scummy this game but I think it's just the way she pushes. I"m not sure that she's actually scummy. Does that make sense? In other words i'm not sure how to read liz. She comes off as scummy to me but it could just very well be the way she plays. 

 

Really with Pral the only thing he's done that stands out to me IS his push on Cory which I think is ridiculous. It doesn't make him scum, he could jsut be wrong but I think it's a scummy look with nothing else to go on. 

 

With BFG I think i'm mostly tinfoiling. I don't understand how she had me as town yesterday with the info i left. It seems like a bit of TMI unless she saw something which she thought was a "tell" of some sort that i don't understand. I mean she's right... but i don't know how to take that. And I did say before the weekend that if i had to choose 3 towns it would be BFG, Ironeyes, and I think you? dang if i can remember. it was a sucky weekend.

What does bother me however is that after the Ironeyes claim she goes after saying how Darthe knew Ironeyes was a villager. Well how did she know? TMI?

No, if you remember I said there were two possible reasons why Darthe would be town reading Ironeyes:

1. Fellow wolf, wanting to keep the lynch off

2. Knowing he was a villager and wanting to keep his hands clean. 

 

I thought, ok, well even if Ironeyes is a villager, Scum!Darthe had his reasons to want to keep the lynch off of him, or at least not implicate himself in it. That's what I was alluding to.

Nyn - I feel like she's similar to the hydra game we just played together. She points out things and follows up on things that she points out, and she has that level of sass I expect from her. I feel very good about her rn.

 

BFG - I probably feel the most comfortable with her besides Nyn so far. I think she's inquisitive and asking questions around the board. 

 

Darthe - He seems fine this game so far. Sort of skirting the middle of the line a little. I think I'm leaning town, with a slight tinfoil that he might be similar to the VS game where he wasn't showing much interest. I just don't know if staying around and forcing other people to attempt to read him with little information and being the center of attention = not showing interest, so that's why I have him as town for now.

 

Cory - I know he's super busy these days, but I find it a bit odd how there hasn't been more critical questions. I know he sometimes takes a while to warm up, so he's not in my lynch pool today, though he's right about that whole big expectations thing. I just feel that even as a wolf he would try harder, if that makes sense? 

 

Liz - I have no experience with Liz. From memory during the beginning of the game I felt her questions were kind of reachy, but we do seem to have a very different approach to the game as a whole. I'm cautiously optimistic that her line of questioning will actually lead to good things for town and not just be a way to place doubt in people's heads about different slots. 

 

Alanna - I dislike intensely the pushes to lynch Csarmi. I would always wait for mod intervention on that slot if he hadn't showed up. I also had slight pings over the Alanna/Darthe interactions like I mentioned before. My confidence in reading Alanna has never been very high, but I still think she's being scummy this game. 

 

I don't have a clear memory on the rest, so I'll have to go back and read now.

No, I mentioned a bit earlier why I read sooh town. Especially because of her progression on Ironeyes and Darthe on D1.

 

 

I'm not Pralaya so I can't comment much on this except that it seemed to me that Sooh seemed confused about the Darthe/Ironeyes thing. The weirdest part is where she moves her vote from Darthe to Ironeyes on Darthe's prodding.

Made sense to me then but now it isn't, it's utter nonsense. She never said she had an idea on Iron's alignment and it's Darthe who's doing the "white knighting" (which is NOT scummy btw and never have been I wish people would stop that)...

Then Ironeyes claims and she is back to Darthe.

 

Read me those dozen pages Cory and tell me how a townie is less likely to do all that than a wolf.
