Ok, yes, I see what you mean. The Kat/Alanna connection mention I did remember but he seemed to mention her several times beyond that. I also think it's amusing that he says that at first he thought it pinged how she FoSed Cory but then realized it was just done to get the game moving. But by Alanna's own admission, discussing Cory is a waste of time so she was getting the game started by getting us to talk about something she feels is moot... not to mention entirely null for him by meta. Yep, totally toss some townie points for that.... >.>

He did, she's most of his game content prior to his reads list (and immediately after, but that's in response to questioning so doesn't count)

 

She's also why I think he's town reading me and one of the issues he has with Cory?

I don't know if I can explain it very well, Liz has spent more time talking about/to Darthe but her approach is direct

 

I'll go look in a minute, but... dummy alert.... what's the connection between how liz is acting irt Darthe and how Ironeyes is talking about Alanna? Are those two separate things you're talking about? Because it seems as if you're saying it reflects on each other and I'm mostly like... ???   lol

TLDR, No, they're completely separate - I was just trying to stave off the inevitable but Liz has focused more on Darthe than Ironeyes has on Alanna

 

Liz has been focused on Darthe since early game, not really a tunnel because she has poked elsewhere, but not far off. Afaict it started because strong player doing nothing and developed when he didn't respond to her. So the approach feels 'natural' dunno if that's the right word. But although she's asking other players about Darthe, she's judging them independently (I think, given that she's more closed on reads it's difficult to judge)

 

 

 

Ironeyes is very aware of Alanna while not doing much to address her directly. He links her to Kat when Kat talks about you and me because they may be protecting a mafia power role, while he has done more to defend Alanna directly by pointing out posts that he likes and is town reading her.

Thanks for clarifying. I think what has bothered me more so, and maybe it's just me, are those "agreeable" comments. Those goddamn comments lol  Feels somewhat phony. 

 

It's like. Oh Alanna's post is SUPERB. I like that she has a PLAN. What's the plan, you ask? She's gonna sit on her butt and do or say absolutely nothing to resolve Cory cause... he's either gonna die or live and suck balls. BRILLIANT. 

 

And all those "I love Darthe, ask me why?" bumper sticker posts. I dunno. The way he was talking about how valuable Darthe is and all those ego strokes made me want to hand them an oil massage bottle and flee . Granted there was a pity party vibe going on that kind of confounded me... but that whole time I was like..... well I think the gif I posted pretty much summed it up.

Darthe on page 5 is still mostly incomprehensible to me, all I'm getting is that I think Darthe is having fun, which conversely means Cory isn't

I can't tell if Alanna/Darthe on P21/22 is Alanna being overly friendly to him or he baiting her or both. it's a very strange interaction. Actually by the end of it on P22 Darthe looks kinda good for it.

Pretty sure I've only commented on a few things. I'm collecting observations. I'll comment on the observations once I have answers and I've sorted through them.

I think you're very nitpicky and reading posts perhaps as more serious than I would? Your questions make me feel like you're out to get people, which I guess is what you are regardless.

 

 

 

Okay, fair enough if that's your perception. There's actually only one person I know who routinely gets what I'm doing when I do what I do, so I can't blame you if you don't get it.

 

But what specifically do you think i'm being nitpicky about? Who do you think I'm out to get? And how would you propose that we set about finding scum if we're not questioning what they say?

 

To give you a little bit of insight into moi, though, I'll say this: not everything I say is serious. But I definitely will let people know when I am, and I hope you can figure out at this point what I'm actually serious about. 

 

For example, to give you an idea of what I'm getting at with regards to Darthe - what do you think of the fact that he has repeatedly ignored my questions about his comments to BFG about her being serious so 'early" in favour of responding to the more peripheral questions that I've asked.

Without going back to specifically pick apart your posts I'll say that you've asked about things where I would usually let it slide. I can go back and find concrete questions though. It just seems you're trying to find something to ask about with every post, which I guess is towny in a vacuum since wolves sometimes have a tendency to post a lot of commentary. I can't say you're out to get anyone in particular at this point in the game. It seems like you're spreading it around evenly lol.

 

I do ask questions too, but I guess we just have a different threshold for finding things to ask about, at least at this point in the game. 

 

I do hope that Darthe responds to you though, and yes, it's weird that he hasn't.

And I don't think I've asked/commented on every post, which is why I'm asking you to be more specific. There are several people whose posts I haven't responded to directly very much at all. Cory, BFG, and Ironeyes come to mind.  The posts I've most focused on are yours, Darthes, Kat, and to some extent Nyn's, and that's basically because there are threads I felt needed pulling there. If the thread comes to an end, I don't have to pulll anymore. The Darthe thread has not yet ended.

 

This does explain her stance, in terms of questioning and such. I hope to see some indications on where these questions have lead you before long though.

Liked this at the time (still do) and although it's an easy stance to take as mafia it's maybe worth noting that Alanna steered clear of all the Matrix 'stuff' (although that may not be a fair comparison) and also that Alanna keeps saying to ignore all the old games
