Kind of. A quick read though. Not a detailed read.

Skimmed through the game. Quick thoughts.

 

Not many votes even though it is the end of the day. It is apparent that the scum is kind of playing it safe or trying to push a last minute lynch. 

 

BFG, Nyn, Darthe look fine overall. Don't see anything that stands out.

 

Alanna seems straightforward - which actually worries me. I usually see her scummy each and every game and that is not very apparent here. Need to see how she votes.

 

Sooh and kat are slightly pinging. Nothing surprising in that.

 

Not played with Liz and not sure what to make of her posts. Seems townie overall. Like her early vote to Darthe though - more coming from town than a scummy push.

 

Ironeyes - don't recollect him make detailed lists like he has done in this game. Could be due to trying to make himself look active.

 

Hallia is obviously townie. Well duh.

 

Irt Alanna, I don't get how her not seeming scummy is a concern... unless you're usually wrong when you do find her scummy? Otherwise this makes zero sense.

 

Irt Sooh and Kat, I know you mentioned you've only skimmed but can you be a bit more specific?  Also why is it "no surprise?"

 

On Ironeyes, I find his list pretty null. Could easily just be busywork.

 

 

 

 

 

Yes, Cory ends up voting me D1 nearly every game. Which kind of can get annoying. But, it is more of the way he tries to push that stands out in him.

 

You do realize, though, that the vote is entirely based on Halli and not you since you have not posted leading up to his vote?With that said, while I'm not a fan of the post of Halli's he pointed out, I don't feel comfortable with the lack of content. She has like 5 posts. And I know she's traveling, so there isn't much to be done with it today. No offense, but I'd kind of prefer dealing with her cause I know her better :P

I haven't gotten around to ISOing like I wanted. This is feeling like a dejavu of the hydra game and it's stressing me out. Gonna try to pour some coffee down my throat and see what happens.

I'm not exactly confident, but I liked some of her posts towards Cory (ones like where she said she'd started off antagonistic - although thinking about it, not sure how that fits with her forgetting how he self proclaims villager), her general approach to Darthe last night read well to me

Even when Alanna was IC in an earlier game, I found some of her posts scummy. Based on that, I have a feeling that she is playing a bit safe in this game. Yes, she has been commenting on Ironeyes, Darthe etc but it is more of passive comments that I see so far. I am not seeing her play as free as she usually does.

 

Ironeyes is more of a gut. Just a FoS, that's all.

My comments and observation is more on how he is pushing rather than who he is pushing. Whether it is Hally or me, the same comments are valid.

Nyn what's your read on Cory?

 

I am by no means a whiz at reading Cory, but usually EoD is an integral part of it for me to figure it out (I'm talking about it openly because he knows it, since we've spoken about it before). So far he seems fine but I'm looking for that urgency. I don't FEEL it yet. But the next hours are gonna be pretty telling in that regard because I don't think he can fake unraveling (ie losing his sh*t). tldr, he's not on the table for me today.

 

like you, I don't hate his vote but I find it.... odd? I feel like Hallia is someone he can resolve well enough once she gets posting and I kind of would expected him to shelf her for now on account of she's driving cross state today and there's zero chance she's going to show. Unless it's just a pressure vote, at which case it's fine. @Cory is it? Or is the halli/pral slot really your strongest scum read atp?

Right now the biggest thing for me is Ironeyes focus on Alanna, while Liz might have spent more time talking to/pushing Darthe it was all direct. Ironeyes is hyper aware of the way Alanna's being read by other people in a way that seems unnatural(?) given his read on her is slight townish

Regarding Cory I'm missing the passion so far which seems somewhat at odds with his hydra post stuff at the beginning. I know that he gears up and am waiting, but until I see it I can't read him, although there are some elements of his play that seem natural. However I just skimmed OW and he was more of a town leader in that, but possibly because if he didn't Shad or Zander would have

Just to let you know, my previous wim high from the MU game took kind of a beating last night as I was having an episode of really really low self confidence which kept me up most of the night, so now I'm tired and kinda sad and annoyed at myself for letting things get to me. TLDR, No, they're completely separate - I was just trying to stave off the inevitable but Liz has focused more on Darthe than Ironeyes has on Alanna

 

Liz has been focused on Darthe since early game, not really a tunnel because she has poked elsewhere, but not far off. Afaict it started because strong player doing nothing and developed when he didn't respond to her. So the approach feels 'natural' dunno if that's the right word. But although she's asking other players about Darthe, she's judging them independently (I think, given that she's more closed on reads it's difficult to judge)

 

 

 

Ironeyes is very aware of Alanna while not doing much to address her directly. He links her to Kat when Kat talks about you and me because they may be protecting a mafia power role, while he has done more to defend Alanna directly by pointing out posts that he likes and is town reading her.

 

I really can't explain the issue that I'm seeing with Ironeyes but it's like every time I read one of his first 10 posts or so I hit a pot hole or something and just kind of go ???
