I like finding the truth and I like duping my enemies.  I like to chat with the community and I like to overcome challenges.

 

What I don't enjoy is belligerent players showing their ass and sticking their nose up at me.  If I didn't think my observations had merit I wouldnt effing say them.

We need to start building some bridges and functioning together instead of antagonizing eachother and I am completely at fault for that at times this game and will do my best to address that as we continue further.

 

But we need to start discussing who we really want to lynch today.

Define what you mean by predatory? Do you mean that I'm baiting him? I think I'm moreso trying to figure out where he's coming from because as a person with whom I've been close to in the past he has been out of character a bit so I'm trying to appeal to the reasoning, if that makes sense

Cory is probably confusing me the most at the moment. There are posts that sound like Cory, although that only really means null, but the thinking in them are things I expect from town Cory (plane post about Cory early on), his post where he explained a specific post of Zanders he didn't like .

 

The biggest problem I have is the lack of transparency, it feels like the tell don't show Matrix thing. But for example he went from thinking Regy could be mafia to town with no indication of what caused either read, Cory's reads are more easily defined when he's town. Need to ISO to see if this is a consistent thing

 

Thread environment is another nebulous 'thing'. I don't really know how to read his 'mail it in' posts from earlier or his response to SiRReN. I know this is something he wants to change from his mafia game, don't know if they're more likely from him as town or mafia.

 

Beyond that his approach towards Zander feels odd, I don't understand why he's picking the 'post by post' catch up fight this game. Regardless of how he feels about Zander's approach it's how he approaches most games. Very minor, but why vote Darthe when he did, there are people in his nulls that he could have talked to?

I trust Hally, Sili, Seph and AJ ftr.  Getting there on Zander.  Clov 2spooky4me, don't get how ya'll are doing it.  That said, his post about wanting to see were things went irt me/cory and cory saying he was gonna be different but also being annoyed that people were calling him out for being different?  Great post.

I've been wrestling for... like an hour or more now over whether or not I wanted to post this.

 

Normally if I'm not sure about something I just go for it anyway and see what shakes out and I'm probably putting way too much significance in this as it's just an idea and not even one I'm very sure about.

 

But I gotta put it out there, I'm sorry, if it's wrong please tear it apart and make me feel reassured.

 

Enough preface, here's the post as I wrote it an hour ago in all its messy glory:

 

Alright I have an idea in my head that won't go away so I'm going to put it out there in the open so I can roll it around a bit and maybe think out loud, and have people support or tear it apart:

Hallia/Cory/??? scum team

This seems disturbingly plausible. It came to me as a combination of continued worry that Hallia being in lock step with my ideas (most recently voting Darthe shortly after I said I wanted to) and the points brought up against Cory by BFG, Clov, and even Darthe.

They're consistently townreading each other but otherwise not voting as a block.

It seems like it could be quite the elegant setup.

Hallia trepidations here include: I'm giving myself a damn lot of credit by being so focused on Hallia potentially trying to get on my side. I'm not that important and she shouldn't need to do that. If she's town I'm basically just saying that she's suspicious because we're viewing the game in similar ways??

Cory trepidations include: A lot of what he's said has made sense to me and I've agreed on both looking at Clov and Darthe.

But on the other hand I disagree about continued BFG suspicions because I think BFG's latest posts look good.
