Don't get me started. I've got my merit badge in mechanics hunting. I can prove it from past games easily. 

 

Keep in mind it's been 6 months since I've played mafia so I'm also kinda rusty.

I can say that Princess is a highly analytical player who thrives on ISOing players and pointing out inconsistencies. She's known for walls of text, but has difficulty reading tone. This is true for her town AND scum games. She's also relatively new to mafia in general - this will be her sixth game I believe, whereas I've been playing for a year now.

 

I tried unsuccessfully to tone read her last game, so I'm uncertain what's going to happen when she gets into the thick of this game. When she does show up though, expect a lot of serious analysis from her.

These have no evidence to back them up yet, just are how I'm feeling atm based on what I've seen. Gonna try and start some ISO's now that I know how to do them, but I needs a shower, and then I have work and friendship time tomorrow, so not sure how much I'll be able to get done and posted! Are your reads in order?

 

Evidence is obviously better, but gut reads are better than no content. Your list feels good to me, with the possible exception of Hally. How much experience do you have playing with her?

 

Okay, thanks! :3 I'd still like to see something from him, but that's more of a "How can I read what doesn't exist" thing, and having even one missing element can effect how everyone else interacts and behaves, so I'm looking forward to when he pops in!

@Princess, if you click on the 'More Reply Options' button whenever you have a quote in the box, it'll take you to a separate window where editing is easier. In the top right portion of the command box, there's a little button that looks like a switch. It'll turn the quote bubbles into a hard code format, which may be easier for you to work with. I think VS is similar in that fashion.

I mean, this helps with formatting, but I still can't make the box bigger... when I try to click and drag, the scroll keeps pushing me back up to where I can't change the post box size to see more text at a time, and it's frustrating for someone who WoT's :C And actually, this took away the wrap around on the post, so it's kinda more annoying :/

In the “more Reply options” screen, you can grab the diagonal lines in the lower right corner to make the box as big as you want.

Not quite sure what to think of this post and the couple before it. It seems overly emotional, but people who know her better did say she had trouble tone reading. If I hadn’t just seen someone fake emo in a game, I would say definitely town. Wary now though.

As town, I'm dumb; as mafia I am literally afraid of the game thread. 

 

Last game I played, I had the mafia narrowed down to 2/3 players and every time I tried making a case nothing stuck, and we lost the game and the lesson I learned what that I'm a bad player who is only good as a vote and even then I usually vote wrong :^)

I keep trying though, with the dream that one day I'll help and shed the title as "Town sided Mafia MVP"

I know you're doing ISO's of all the players or whatever, but what do you expect to find doing it to the new players that you don't have any experience with? Same question to PBF. 

I don't like using ISO's but I can understand if you're looking for something specific, just not sure what you two are expecting from people completely unfamiliar to you.

Also not feeling great about Hally atm irt to activity and also how she responded to Shad's "odd" comment on me after not commenting on it when I first posted. I don't like how Sili dropped off while getting heat.  Not understanding the town read on Lenlo, but I am quite probably biased on that. Have no feeling on Balrog - I guess he sticks to his guns, which is good?  PBF looks ~okay for now. 

 

AJ prob my strongest read.  I think SiRReN looks good too for tone, thread flow, and questions.  I have never played with Shad and Sooh that I recall so not sure about them.  Dice looks like town!Dice so far. Kat the slightest of town.  The rest null since I don't have enough for an opinion.

I couldn't care less about the name confusion. If he's a villager I think it will be pretty obvious soon enough. I've seen him 3P beautifully, but content level is still a major tell for him w vs v. So far null and on the clock; he'll step it up if he's town.

Yeah, her activity level is the same as town and scum - annoyingly high lol. She's been really busy at work lately though, and in desperate need of some friendship time, so she was out getting that today. We also come from a forum with very few high posting players, so to us, Princess and I generally thought of as thread leaders, but when I'm playing with people who post more than me I tend to think it's safe for me to not do as much, lol, because others will pick up my slack.i don't really like that about myself though.

 

I'm pretty confident that once she's here again she'll be posting like I've described she does.

This pinged me a bit when I first read it and still kind of does, and it's stupid and trivial but lulz if you're a wolf Sooh.

 

I’ve never played with Sooh, so is there more to the ping other than the sort weird refusal to change her vote?

 

Refusal to change the vote is an odd way of looking at it when Dice was joking around.

 

It's the formality of it, which I'm now starting to think might be non-existent and I missed a bit of dry humor here. Sooh has some differences in her manner of stating things that I can't really articulate but tend to pick up on, and it makes a difference based on the degree to which that post was joking vs obligatory responding, and it's subtle and not very substantive in a single instance and blah blah I'm not really interested in making reads on p3 content but reserve the right to gloat excessively if proven correct.
