I think the general disgruntlement surrounding it is that charismatic players don't typically say x as town for the sake of preserving their wolf integrity. ("See, I would say this as either alignment. I said it as town last time.") They town that s--- up and raise the bar for their next scum game.

 

Not a reason to damn a player no one has ever seen town before, just why it instinctively didn't sit right with me.

This is such backward reasoning, Shad, 'cause it assumes that they say X as wolf because they are wolves, and would say something different as town if they weren't "preserving wolf integrity". A good player models their scum game on their town game, not vice versa (if only because, Bessie's streak of amazing evil aside, probabilities insist we'll all play roughly 3 times as many town games as scum games)

No. Bad logic has no alignment.

 

I disagree as a general thing. Bad logic could be indicative of someone stretching or changing things to try and get someone lynched for less then legit reasons. I think bad logic falls between Wolfy and Null, as imo bad logic is never towny.

I think the "if we were w/w we'd town read each other" statement is probably true, and tbf Hallia has posted very little regardless of how I felt about it.  I kind of expected more of an opinion out of you irt her multi-quote post, but we'll see what happens when she has more to say.

 

Thane reads me a lot better than I read Thane, and really well in general.  He knows that, and I suppose he might call me town here whatever his alignment, but it hasn't felt like buddying at all.  It's felt like standing behind a strong opinion, not directly sucking up to me.  I'm not feeling any agenda in him and I want to call him town.

 

 

So youre only basing your read on Thane based on how he's reading/reacting to you?

Really Len? First you can't believe I have reads, and then you don't understand the reasoning? You said it yourself. It was page 4. Obviously those aren't legit reads yet, but rather my feelings about people at that point in time.

I'm one of those that believe that initial game posts are very important. You just found out your role, you're still coming to terms with whatever you got. Especially if you got scum. So I agree with those that say it's quite BS that you post without checking your pm yet.

 

I didnt say I couldnt believe you had reads, I merely questioned how good/strong they were as it was page 4. Do not put words in my mouth and do not try to justify things after they were called out.

 

I dont really care what you believe. I dont see why your bringing this up, as it doesnt seem relevant. It doesnt address how Darthe is wolf because of Shad. It actually completely moves the conversation.

Caught up. Seph stands out to me, really really excitable. Disagree with him on stuff. Found his Darthe interactions odd. Dont  remember playing with him before.

 

There are definitely similarities to his last game. He was sorta hyper and carefree there too which is worth noting. I have played with him before, but it's been a while so I don't remember much. Overall I like him pushing and nudging. It doesn't feel like he's asking questions just to ask questions.

I agree with the logic but haven't read her enough this game to figure her alignment. She is deff saying she hides her town game behind her wolf game though, ultimately placing her a half step away from being a policy lynch always. But we will see

Seph shouldnt be so high, Besie I dont understand. Shes had some good posts and some bad posts. Havnt played with her in awhile, so no idea how she  played before.

 

That said im not out and out wolf reading any of them. Zander and Eldrick are fine, Turin could stand to be alittle lower but is good to be on the list.
