I've been mulling over the idea of Tina being scum, but honestly I would probably lynch her last out those three.

 

I think she's legitimately trying to figure it out and just got pocketed by Turin because he cleared her rather quickly.

b) it would stop any possible challenge to your "King of Gifs" title

These two stand out to me because the focus of the post is questioning Dice's read of me based on my unwillingness to policy lynch Zander. Taken into context of a possible Turin/Zander wolf combo I think this looks pretty bad. It's like he's already attempting to lay a trail to link me to Zander by bringing up how I said I wouldn't lynch him for no reason.

 

Turin - can you clarify the point of these questions and what sort of answer you were expecting from Dice?

This little bit was prefaced by Tina voting Dice with basically no reason and then asking him for his take on AJ in what read to me as a joking manner...

Dice's response reads as pure buddying to me. Hugs in direct response to the vote but with a bit of bite. Tina basically claims "Town" at him and he immediately goes back to treating her as town. Seems weird to me.

Not much else has caught my eye. I thought something was weird about Tina but that was me misunderstanding. I actually am leaning a bit more town with her right now because she is asking real questions. It is small but there.

I was going to post a one-liner but this is where I'm at as well. Dice is currently striking me as un-Dice-like. It's almost like he's trying to intentionally shed a particular meta device we currently use to find scum Dice vs town Dice but he isn't comfortable in it.

In both of these responses Dice basically says "it was all a joke, LOL. Nothing to see here." Further accenting it in saying if it was a real push there would have been a vote in there. Maybe from Town!Dice there would be. The fact there isn't is part of what is bothering me about it. Especially since I don't think Dice was/is voting anyone right now. 

 

 

 

On reread I like his game even less than I did before. I think he latched onto the joke thing with Z as his "something" to go on about but he knows it isn't really valid so isn't giving it his all. More like the soft back and forth with Tina. If both hadn't happened this same game day I might not be so troubled.

I said before that this casing of Dice might point to Turin being scum, and now I think I was correct with my initial gut reaction to it.

 

Take the time to really read over it and see how much of it is subjective nonsense that is purely Turin's spin on the situation. He is applying negative intent to Dice's posts when really there wasn't any. The first bit especially, where he talks about Dice trying to change subjects after 'buddying Tina' as if someone had called Dice down on it and he felt he needed to distance him. This never happened, but Turin creates the narrative for it.

 

Seriously - read it again with Dice's flip in mind and tell me it doesn't give you slimy feels.

Tina: strong townie- her game started out right once I figured out she was talking to Nolder and not dice. Still asking the right questions and following her beliefs.

 

Verb: townie- has some unique points of view I think but his thought process seems logical.

 

Zander: townie- He has been looking at the entire game and I feel he is really trying to solve.

 

Lenlo: light townie- he feels sincere in his attempt to understand Hallia and her varying read on him. I don't recall much else tho tbh.

 

Leelou: null> light townie: don't like she didn't have a serious vote down but stuff does happen. If you had been able to vote in last hour who would you have picked?

 

Yates: mixed/null- I will never be able to read him D1. I see helpful Yates. I know he would be helpful either way. I need to reread him. That ain't happening until Monday tho.

 

AJ: mixed - I like that he has been present and active even tho it isn't alignment indicative. He seems to be taking things into consideratio. I don't like his characterization of Hallia as LHF. I think those days are well behind us.

 

Nolder: null> mafia- the thing with Tina was Not good. My only thing about it was I originally misread Tina's post also. So I may be cutting a bit too.much slack. I also just saw him get destroyed for being "Derp" in a game he was town.

 

Thane: mafia- I get he is busy but he came in and posted that he was basically abdicating his vote on D1 with tied trains and time ticking down. If you didn't like either train then vote elsewhere. Maybe it at least prompts discussion.

 

Hallia: mafia- the entire wtl vs read lists. inconsistency in the Lenlo situation. Her problem with Len seemed to Boil down to disagreement over dice. People will disagree about other people. people will be wrong about other people. It isn't alignment indicative.

 

This was Turin's reads list after D1 when Dice was lynched. Thus far between Dice, Hallia and Thane he was going after softer targets imo. While the gripes are legitimate in a generic fashion, I think they are also easy to push.

 

His read on Nolder here is interesting.

I even explained why i saw certain people as town and the rest null. So, accusations on that, I call nonsense. You're either unable to read what I post, or purposefully trying to make me look bad.

 

Not voting Dice? I had him town (and i was right). Not voting AJ? i think he is town too, which still has to be confirmed, one way or another. Voting someone else with little hope of other people doing so? Don't think it's quite that useful. Hallia didn't vote me, for instance, seeing she thought it had little chance of succeeding. Yet I'm being called out for it.... interesting.

 

Verbal didn't change, 'cause he saw no reason to. Hybrid hammer and all. Would he have changed if it weren't hybrid-hammer? I don't know. Care to answer, Verbal?

Yes, not giving reads is not town. I disagree that you gave real reasons for why you had people where you did. The only one that I think was sufficiently backed up was your Dice opinion. It is now D2. Let's see what you really think now. 

 

I chopped out a lot of this post because it was big, but I kept this section to show what I am talking about. The bolded statement from Turin is an example of how he was pushing players for generic reasons.

 

Obviously his theory here proved false.

 

Where I am right now.

 

Tina: liked her questions from the start. Well once I figured out what she was about with Dice/Nolder. Only gotten better since then.

Hallia: Claim makes her nearly assured to be town. Some of the play was very irksome. I would really like to get a complete read list cause I want a PoV that is completely separate from me.

Verb: I have pretty much only agreed with him all game. I do want him back in the game. Even if I have to post more Spidey to get him back.

Lenlo: I liked that he was willing to question Hallia and didn't back off when two vocal players blew back at him. I agree with what he saw and understand how he wanted to pin Hallia down on what her reads on those people were exactly. Mafia will try to be vague to be able to suss their teammates but never quite get around to voting them.

Zander: I don't have anything that is screaming mafia about Zander. I do have a couple of niggling things. The back and forth with AJ feels mostly like they are both going "you're mafia... no you are... " it isn't ringing true on either side. The other thing I would like clarified is his Nolder read. 

Leelou: I haven't got anything bad on her but activity won't let me move her above null. 

Nolder: The situation with Tina still feels off. I know he has posted other things since then but that doesn't mean that a bad push is just forgiven. One thing that I did take to heart from Cory about hunting wolves is that you can't disregard old info when taking new info into account. Incorporate the new but don't forget the old. I'm not sure if I believe his explanation. 

AJ: As I mentioned already. It doesn't feel like there was anything that he worked at on D1. Also the reads list that was vague with lots of wiggle room. It is okay to have to change but have a position.

Thane: No real stances being taken about who is mafia. No real reasons given for any reads. feels obstructionist. 

 

 

I would really like to hear AJ and Z make clear posts about why they think the other is mafia. 

 

Would also like reads lists from everyone. DL is approaching. What is everyone thinking about the extension? 

 

What's interesting to me here is how I have slid down and Nolder has moved up, despite Nolder doing what exactly to improve his read? This certainly deserves an explanation.

 

He maintains his scum read on Thane for 'not being townie' and has bumped me down under a now confirmed wolf despite Nolder previously being a stronger scum read according to Turin.

Looks like it is basically your call atm. I have Thane worse than Nolder.  I'm not switching as I would rather have Thane lynched but am alright with Nolder lynch as he is only null to slightly mafia to me. 

 

Bold sounds like a bunch of posturing to me for someone he has been keeping as a light suspect for the whole game despite them doing nothing to improve their stock.

 

He puts the responsibility on Leelou to decide who will get lynched or go random. Presumably this would've made Leelou not look so good if she moved to Thane knowing he flipped town now.
