I've had some issues with my computer this morning, but I'm around now. 

 

I'd like to reread Turin as well. I remember thinking some of the things he pointed out in the beginning were reaching, but I thought others were worse D1 so I put him in null. 

 

I also think that Taborline has been very anonymous this game and won't mind pushing her a bit. Since I'll be around sporadically until DL I think I'll Vote: Taborline for pressure and see what happens.

Also Hallia, I don't usually follow my own game closely enough to see if I have any meta. People usually have to point out to me that I do. In terms of the voting and not changing thing that I mentioned it's fairly new I think. It came about after Pizza mentioned to me in another game on another site that I shouldn't hard unvote people, but rather wait until I had a new target. Otherwise it might be seen as scummy. So yes, I'm aware of this part of my meta because it's something I've been trying to do lately. When exactly it started I can't tell you, but I can tell you that if I feel like someone is in danger of being hammered for no reason I will hard unvote.

There has been so little solving today. Most people have said they don't know who to vote for one reason or another.

 

Shad and I had our exchange, which has people wondering our alignments. Consensus is that it's v/w or v/v which is true.

 

Nobody seems to be trying to figure out the game much today. I need more effort from my fellow townies.

 

Tab went back to look over Turin, but hasn't really produced results from it. That concerns me.

 

Hally is starting to make an effort here. I'm liking what I see recently.

 

Sooh answered my questions about current topics, but I'd like to see more solving from her.

 

Lily and Tab are the ones that seem to be lost as far as how to proceed from here. I'm curious to see what they do. Lily commented on being willing to vote turin, but used the excuse that it's his wedding day. I don't like that you're using rl stuff as an excuse after getting on my case about my comment about shad's headache. Do you still intend to vote him? If not, why?

 

 

I told you what I thought, that I could see it possible that he is scum based on his pushing for Thane, and that I'm wondering about the business to do with him consistently bringing up the "I doubt there's a cop" line. I think I would be willing to vote for him today, but it's difficult without him being around to say anything.

But do we legitimately think there is a GF in the small game?

I think Turin knows there's a gf, and therefore is trying to make us think there isn't a cop.

 

But tinfoil aside, the only non vanilla/goon roles being gf and cop is balanced imo.

Even if Turin is scum who knows there's a GF and is trying to discredit the cop early, that doesn't make Lily the GF. It's entirely possible that Turin himself is the GF trying to draw a peek. His comments about there not being a cop probably stood out a lot more to the cop than to the rest of us.

Tab responded to you over an hour ago and we're pretty close to DL. Where are you going with this pressure vote?

@Turin can you explain why you have your town reads? You explained your scum, but not your town.

 

I update my reads list as I go. Some has changed. Some hasn't.

My vote wasn't a joke. Sooh's may have been. If Thane had gotten to say 4 votes and Sooh kept her vote on what would you be thinking then?

 

I vote who I think is mafia. I don't really care how many votes they have unless it is hammer or L-1.

I do and did think he has a >rand chance of being mafia for the way he (subconsciously IMO) treated Zander like he was definitely town even tho Z hadn't said anything yet.

 

Right now Eldrick is looking a bit worse to Me so my vote is now there.

 

 

So when I first read the thread, something about the way Turin reacted to Thane's post felt off to me. I felt like his reasoning was flimsy and had for some reason got the idea he was just coming up with a reason to vote someone that already had a vote.

 

Going back over it, I don't see whatever I saw the first time around. His reasoning for voting Thane is sound. He reacted to what was poor reasoning on my part. I don't have any issue with how he handled the situation anymore.

So do you wanna vote Thane now?

Just catching up now. I don't really recall Eld going emo before either. I must say that I don't really pay attention to those sort of things too much.

 

Starting to think Eldrick could well be town after all. Would probably prefer to see Thane / Lily wagons at this point.

Sort of weird progression here. Backs off Eldrick and back onto Thane before the event that he says changed his read on Eldrick.

Current thoughts:

 

1. Thane- mafia: Potential slip. lack of involvement so far.  

2. Shad- null: Buddying so wary. He seems to be understanding what I was saying so far.

3. Sooh- null>Town: One very small concern about the Thane vote earlier but thinking more likely town atp.

4. Hallia- town lean: so far so good if a small sample size to date.

5. Zander- mixed: asking questions but his stance on Thane who I am currently reading mafia is troubling me.

6. Eldrick- null>mafia: I am getting a townie vibe from him despite all of his odd statements. 

7. Lily-mafia: I feel she is using statements/opinions made by others to cast doubt at people. too much "metoo"ing for me I guess is easiest way to say it.

8. Taborline- town lean: similar to Hallia. so far so good. Nothing pinging but small sample size.

9. Turin- TTTTtT

 

I'm most interested in seeing a Thane lynch I think atm. 

If you are around before DL, can you point to what gave you a town lean on Hallia at this point?  Tab Sooh and Hallia were the only people you had as town.

Oh, I skipped her in writing. Sorry. It is mostly a feel/gut read if you will. There hasn't been much posting overall from her but I haven't really had an issue with what she has said and done. The vote reasoning thing with Lily is something I can see causing people trouble but I think it is a more null behavior for her.

 

She could be truly null but I have her a little leaned to town due to my feeling more strongly that others are mafia. I would like her to get more involved tho. I couldsay that for nearly everyone however.

Not a fan of Turin leaving on this note.  Hallia was one of his top towns.  Only issue he brought up with her after that was the hammer.  I would think town!Turin would be more inclined to trust her claim than most players.
