@Lily my lowest 3 are you, Thane, and pral. My guess would be that that's the scum team, but that's only because of PoE. I'm probably wrong and misclearing someone.

 

@BFG I challenged lily's read because it bothered me that she has been keeping me as null with no explanation. Then she iso'd me and came up with a slight scum, after adding no info of her own. She asked me my view on bg. She pointed out 2 things that had already discussed, and she tinfoiled on me already knowing turin1's alignment.

 

I haven't been very towny this game, and I know that. My reads suck and I just haven't pulled my weight. Thane scum reading me didn't bother me as much as lily did, cuz it felt like it came out of nowhere.

Because I thought he was scum. He was literally my only scum read. Discussion wasn't going anywhere and I wanted the hammer.

I can do that tonight at work. I don't have Internet at home, and have to read by mobile (partly why I haven't been playing well lately. I've been busy at work this weekend, being Superbowl weekend and all, lots of people wanted rooms. Haven't had the time to reread. But my overnight shifts are a LOT slower)

When you don't see scummy play, you tend to resort to meta. Most of the people in this game I don't have scum meta on.

 

I have what Laine said about herself in the last game, which is she doesn't try as scum. She was trying earlier, but she isn't really anymore. Not sure what to make of that. Also self meta is nowhere near reliable.

 

I had Thane as null for a while because of lack of engagement D1. He ended up in my wtl because of it, but has improved recntly. Not enough to make it to my town core, but enough to take my vote off of him.

Thane's wrong about me, but townies are often wrong. He's either town and has a bad read, or is scum and is trying to push an easy mislynch.

Re Laine, she vastly prefers town, but I generally misclear her when she's mafia, so I am naturally very cautious around her.

 

Her big catch up posts are null, she'll do them as any alignment. There are a few things in the first one (i didn't have time to look through all of them properly).

She's calling you out for fluff by page 6 but no-one else?

 

She calls out Lily for a ton of stuff early on, but doesn't seem to reference the replies Lily makes to the same questions from other people. Although she does note Zander? Asking the same questions. I don't recall much follow up with Lily, the exchange between them was Laine convincing Lily that she was town, not pursuing her own suspicion. It is possible I missed something, I was literally skimming her posts this morning.

 

If thus is town Laine it's lower effort (shown in thread) than her recent town games, even before N1.

No. I'm pretty sure he's just been town reading him this whole time and when you asked him to look over his ISO, he still stuck with Thane being a town read while I went the opposite direction and said Thane was scum. Not much progression there to go over IRT Zander

Why does it matter that I called out Eldrick for fluff and no one else. His fluff was in larger quantities than everyone else, he had a top post count but all I could remember was fluff, hence calling him out and nobody else because others were at least trying to control their posting  a little bit.

I have one reason to think BGs mafia, but I need to fact check a lot of stuff on my tablet later. If BGs mafia he's unlikely to be teammates with Thane/Laine. Of the 2 I feel more confident in my read on Thane.

Because I don't understand the purpose. You're saying that I called out eldrick but no one else. Is this scummy? Townie? What are you getting from it?

From what I remember,

 

Zander had Sooh, Eldrick as bottom 2. Nolder was in nulls. You, Nyn, Thane and I were town from early on. His stance on nulls has changed, but the town/mafia reads have stayed the same.

 

We've mislynched twice, yet he's not showing any signs of Re-evaluation, and is looking straight at Eldrick.

 

He's also stopped poking at everyone.

You and me both. The issue with me is that I'm seeing a lot of emo posts that resemble the game where I took part in mislynching her. I don't feel like she's faking it. It comes across very raw and genuine to me. The point of interest is that she was never actually at actual danger of being lynched at any point, so far. So I'm more inclined to believe she's not faking it because it doesn't fall into last resort flailing and trying to gain sympathy move. To me it seems like at first she was giving it her best effort over studying/sleeping time and then felt like it wasn't worth her time when some players were getting suspicious of her, despite the time she was putting into it. 

 

She's had good posts imo where I got the sense that she was scumhunting. The emo posts I'm not fond of as of rule, but I'm pretty much resigned to her doing it so, such is life. Meta talk, like I said before, is something she does all the time. I think that her getting so aggravated for not being town read is coming more from a frustrated pov rather than a scummy one.

 

Generally speaking, I'm sure I can find posts of hers that on the surface would be ping worthy. Because when she gets annoyed she assumes the w/e attitude and says stuff that makes you raise your eyebrow. I'm just not sure if that's something worth pursuing. I could be wrong about her, but imo there are players that merit more attention than her.

Because I don't understand the purpose. You're saying that I called out eldrick but no one else. Is this scummy? Townie? What are you getting from it?

It's inconsistent. By itself that's not scummy, but understanding the why behind it might help me decide which way to go

 

Eldrick is also a potential mislynch if town, so I look for nudges on him. I also have no idea how to read him, so try to understand thread thought about him.
