I have tried multiple times to go back and analyze stuff about people in my PoE, but my brain simply is refusing to focus. I don't have any scum leans besides Turin.

 

I have a town core of Zander, Nyn, BFG, BG, and Laine.

I am ok lynching anyone else, cuz I am doing horribly this game, and can't seem to find anything good to sink my hooks into.

I just hope I'm not misclearing someone.

 

The thread has been so incredibly dead today.

I don't HATE this list. Maybe a little lackluster... I think perhaps BG is being miscleared. BFG and Nyn are tinfoil material but also potentially self resolving.

That leaves Turin 2.0 and Thane. And I must be misclearing someone if it isn't Lily or Pral. Oy vey.

I would slot Lily town and MAYBE Pral. I haven't read any of his posts. I could take 10 minutes and ISO him in the future and get everything I need probably, so I'm not worried. Turin def scum. BG maybe scum. Nyn almost TOO reasonable sometimes. Why hasn't BFG iso'd me? I feel unloved. Where is all the scumhunting and activity? I don't understand why the town isn't trying harder. Wait, who else is in this game?

Z, in .Nolder's world no claim is basically a vt claim. He will even not claim a pr at times. So the lack.of claim is actually kinda null, if annoying To some. Tbh in the other game when I was facing a lynch D1 as doc I considered not claiming because I figured that mafia would likely have a rb and I would die anyway. Only decidef to do.it because even if I was right it would help town on that mafia couldn't shoot at and/or block the cop. I actually absorbed 2 shots and the rb so it was something good.

In fantasy land where you are somehow town, Lily becomes the worst to Me. I might give Z a bit more room. Not sure what it does with Nyn. Eldrick remains a dark horse. Thane would move back into a higher priority.

 

That is all top of head. I would probably need to try to reread entirely.

I didn't have a chance to reread anything today. I'm on my tablet and it's really difficult to look back at things. But going off gut feelings and memory alone, Here are my thoughts on every one. I've mentioned who my scum leads are, but day 1 is way usually too early in my opinion to have good serious town leads. Moving in to day 2, I'm willing to reflect and firm up some opinions.

 

 

1. Turin - Town NKd.

 

2. Zander - Feel he is struggling with the limitations of the new posting style. Most people's complaints against Zander seem to have a basis in that which I don't think is fair. He also seems to have a potential weak spot in Laine. If a scum Laine plays her known town meta strongly, she can pocket Zander which I think may have happened in the Nolder vote. Overall, he has been scum hunting and listening to reason for the most part. Town lean, but can't dismiss he may just be Mafia playing off opportunity.

 

3. Sooh/Turin 2.0 - I felt Sooh was doing decent scum hunting. Her poke at me seemed a legit way to scum hunt. Town lean.

 

4. Nolder - Town Lynched

 

5. Laine - Mafia, she definitely has bulldog qualities. Trying to prove herself town not by the method of play, but on the basis of self meta. She doesn't accept any opinion but her own without calling it anti-town. I think she's trying to build a clique she can help manipulate instead of allowing each player to form their own opinions and express them safely. If she's town, she's dangerous town. She partially led the Nolder charge along with Nyn but was more critical of people who disagreed.

 

6. Nyn - Null. Her style seems somewhere between the bulldog Laine and more of a chill player. She's very adamant about her opinions which is ok, but doesn't make people feel stupid for disagreeing. I don't agree with her on some things. Without rereading I don't have a good feel on her motivation being pure or manipulative.

 

7. Pral - Null. Not enough content to determine.

 

8. Eldrick - Probably most in need of a reread from me. I've been focused on others so much he's flown under my radar kind of. Null.

 

9. Lily - Null, but leaning town if you had to make me choose (despite her current vote). Probably because I've agreed with a lot of what she said.

 

10. Thane - Mafia, mostly for reasons stated. Haven't seen much to change my day 1 opinion there.

 

11. BGrishinko, Town

 

12. BFG, probably my biggest town feel. He's been prodding and poking in all the right ways. You can tell BFG is really trying to win and find the cracks in the Mafia facade.

Why do you think that Zander can't think for himself and make his own decisions? Why do you think Zander can be REASONED with?! LOL But yes, I agree with the "town" result.

Why can't we work together as a town to figure this out? Why are you so AGAINST the town playing AS A TEAM? Why am I dangerous as town? I make pretty good decisions and have good reads generally, I don't mind taking a town leadership role, I'm okay making mistakes, I'm good at getting people to work together. But for SOME DAMN REASON there are people in this game that don't want that to happen and basically killed it for me. So I'm opting for a backseat role and you people can figure it out yourselves as comment on things from over there (points 20ft away).

 

I have a hypothetical situation for you. There are two players, A and B. They have a knack for reading player C well. A and B conclude that C is scum based on these behaviors. C is acting like a scummy scummy wolf and not being helpful to town and doing NOTHING that a normal townie would do and basically more proving the point and never DISPROVING that he's mafia. So A and B continue to push C's lynch and gain town majority for the lynch meaning most people AGREED to lynch player C based on his behavior.  Eventually C votes himself and gets lynched and flips town. What did A and B do wrong?

Laine is town to me because of her current resigned attitude. It feels like giving up. Why would scum be giving up when they are all still alive?

I haven't given up entirely. I'm just refusing to put any amount of work into the game. I will continue to comment on things because the game is CRAWLING at a snails pace, so I'm not too worried about having to do wots or research. I'll leave that up to the town minions.

Zander, let me rephrase a bit, then: The impression i got was you driving the lynch, wanting to thunderdome and all. So, for me, you were the main push.

 

Yes, he did play bad, but that could have been taken advantage of. No, there are not 7 wolves. 3 and third party or 4? Dunno, we'll see. 

 

If you have multiple suspects, can you give them all to me? Maybe a reads list at this point would be nice, so i would know your current line of thoughts. I'll work on mine too.

 

Turin and Eldrick and then Pral/BG are my next tier to look at.
