I haven't reached his re-entry yet, but it's going to have to contain something I find scummy for me to vote him.  Pral only posting 4 or 5 times in the first day phase is every game I've ever played with him.

I found something really really interesting about Kaylee.

 

I think it's actually something that will completely turn this round around. I think she might be completely caught, and when I explain it, it will be tough for anyone to disagree with the point.

 

It's so ridiculously simple and it's EVERYWHERE in her posting. It's not an isolated wierd incident it's her entire play to date.

 

But before I fire all my lazars, I need help on something:

 

Who here has played with Kaylee a lot? Do you remember a recent villager game of hers?

 

I need to make sure what I'm seeing isn't just Kaylee's.... normal way of doing things.

 

This is so fundamental that I will seriously only need to check one villager game of hers real quick to see if there's a difference.

 

If there is, she's completely caught.

Wrote a really long emo rant about me and inactives for Alanna but deleted it.

Then I wrote another and delete that too. And then again.

I've decided this isn't a subject I can talk about without ranting right now so I'm not going to.

Damn and I kinda wanted to hear you rant.

The bottom line is this: leaving inactives alive is bad. Period.

It gives cover for scum to lurk and reaching 3 way lylo with an inactive (or barely active) player is deadly.

I think that towns on DM just haven't been burned enough to fully realize how true this is.

Games often end before 3 way lylo so they don't see that situation much.

Additionally I think people treat each game individually with regards to activity which is probably how it should be but if you consider the metagame implications there becomes a very strong argument for all town players to always lynch inactives ASAP. It is one of the most obviously pro town things you can do.

 

But people don't. They say things like tomorrow.

And I'm not just trying to pick on you (ok maybe just a little) but as they say tomorrow never comes.

You don't want to see me really rant on this subject because in all honesty I get really heated and turn into kind of a jerk which is why people used to really put me down or lynch me whenever I brought up the subject because they didn't like HOW I said things rather than focusing on what I was saying.

In a nutshell there's my thoughts on inactives you can do what you want with them but I think it's best for me to just not talk about it further.

I understand your reservations, I really do. But you can't both say that you want more from someone and you want to lynch them. You're not giving them the opportunity. I also stated we're NOT going to let Pral live that long if he continues to drag down the town, there's no reason to do that. Like, at all. But he's shown that he's willing to provide reads, they looked okay. He's trying to catch up. That's enough effort for today that I'm alright giving him another day to provide something else. Yes he's consistently not an active player, that doesn't mean we should just keep lynching him in games until he stops playing. That also doesn't mean we should let him scoot to endgame.

 

Um? He has like another 24 hours.

He had the same opportunity we all had.

I think I've only played with her occasionally. I wouldn't notice any differences in her play from one game to the next.

I read it, pretty thoroughly, have a good bit of thoughts, but I don't want to answer questions on Wish's behalf. If she comes back at you with garbage, then I'll have a lot to reconsider.

I think you did well, with one exception: you just deeply engaged an enormous volume of Zander content, and it was content directed at you. I at least tend to get pretty solid reads off of people who target me. I was a little disappointed that you did not think to conclude with how, for better or worse, all of this has colored your read on Zander.
