I took offense to what he said regardless of what he said in addition to that. The 'confirmed town' part did not register as honest that is. It felt like snark.

So the topic is mute, yes. There is no reason for you to bring it up. It baffles me why you think it might be important to press the issue now because it will not go anywhere, and this behaviour honestly makes me suspicious of you. I really don't like it.

 

My vote on lenlo is based on this: and I've already said this in the thread.

 

His posts were forced, they lack content, he hadn't until just now after i implied he should, addressed his wagon in a concerted way which may or may not be scum who is playing it safe and hoping the storm will pass. I obviously, being me after all, will not like this behavior. I am glad he finally addressed his wagon.

Your retraction wasn't evident to me. And I just read the whole thread when I showed up. So... But you can't just hand wave away something like intent. I was looking for clarification on if this was a misunderstanding or if there was intent in your accusation. This is the first time you made it clear TO ME that you had retracted that. And I still don't know why. So the topic isn't MOOT; it is germane to my interpretation of what just happened in the thread.

The bold is a fair enough statement. I guess I thought he was ignoring something specific. And honestly, he still hasn't actually addressed his wagon so much as acknowledged it. But that's kind of why I asked the question. I agree with his assessment in post 175 that it wasn't like anyone brought up any points that I saw that he needed to address. So I was wondering why you were calling him out on that. Again; it's about intent.

Incidentally by forced I don't think I mean what Rack said. All I mean is he repeated content already set out for him in an obligatory way, so there might not have been any original thought behind his (lenlo's) comments.

 

The interaction between clov and him might have been staged as well, but I am more reserved about this notion.

Forced/Lacked content - I assume your talking about post #51? That post wasnt even 3 pages into the game and it was my first post. Your using that to say im forcing my posts/lacking content? Whats your opinion on Pral, Nomi or say Dice then? None of them have posted much and what they have hasnt been content. Id like to see if you have a similar opinion about them or are singling me out for some reason.

I have expectations for Rack and we'll see if they pan out. Sili is doing his town thing but has overinflated a few points imo--made it sound like things have happened repeatedly when I only noticed them once--which might be different from his usual 'overinflation' of blowing up benign posts into major talking points. Generally feeling town on him though.

 

Yates being more combative than I'm used to this early, not sure what to take from it yet.

 

Kind of digging Sooh so far, Zander's off to a good start and while I'm not going to underestimate him I've probably never tinfoiled on any town as hard as I did on him last game and I'm not going to let that happen again. I got a few bad vibes from him when I've seen him as scum and until that happens towny Zander is town Zander imo. Hallia taking Clov seriously was weird. I didn't get the issue with Lenlo but then this post:

The way you've been digging at Sili. You've analyzed some of his statements in a way that's... I don't know, lawyerly? Basically in #175 you correctly noted that there were no real accusations against you worth responding to. Trap laid, bait not taken, you progressed out of the situation smoothly instead of bulking at weakly-conceived pressure. Then in #176 you piggie-backed Dice's negative comment irt Sili and nullified what you just accomplished. Left me wondering if you were nervous after all and felt the need to remind us of the notion that Sili was performing sub-par.

Eh maybe "combative" wasn't the best word for it. I generally think that about half of what Sili says as town either carries a double meaning or is a straight-up lie (including "yes, I was dead serious" statements) but he can also get pretty emotional at times, and it's next to impossible to distinguish the two. I measure him on what he accomplishes. He's incredibly effective at helping me get reads on other players and when that's happening he's normally town.
