alright.... quite a tad to read.

first things first: Nomi, Dice... this is a game. Unpleasantries and such are not wanted in the game, so please suck it up, jump into an icebath and come back when you've achieved normal body temperature before posting aggresive stuff in the thread. It makes a catch up/reread unnecessarily unpleasant.

Now, secondly, before i spoiler all my little notes here, there's something standing out to me which i'd like to adress: @Nomi: post 893, you state i have the potential to be an endgame wolf. This makes me think about Dice's statement about you. Do you have an alt here and have we played before? Statements like the one you made ring very loud. And they make me very suspicious of you.

Furthermore: Hi BFG! Stay in the game, please? I need me some BFG this game *nods and hands drink*

few little notes here, which i will share with you once more so you can try to figure out how my mind works.

unvote

There's another one now that i am mightily suspicious of

[v] Nomi [/v]

I would like some explaning from you. There's too much from you bothering me at the moment.

Shouldnt you slap my face with a glove while being all dramatic and issuing challenges?

its pretty simple

you say you would lynch rack for not sharing yet you have purposely set things so you arnt honestly sharing. You have consciously come into this game hiding things that people could use to read you. You even pretty much stated as much.

You also state that ud vote rack for that but you dont. like i said  say one thing do another.. Im not talking about OTHER people Im talking about YOUR words and actions and the fact that they differ.

your "challenge"     (I REALLY want a glove right now)

I never lied. I absolutely think you are saying one thing and doing another. Therefore I think you are mafia and im putting my vote where my mouth is.

Im not mischaracterizing you I took your own words compared them to your actions. Then i voted.

As for solving method   there are things I look for   like this  but largely im a gut player. I suck at making cases and even when I KNOW someones mafia i tend to get ignored until someone with clout agrees with me and makes a case.

I look for mafia   not town. Thats corys gig  my value in this game? the fact that im hunting for scum. I may not do it your way or in a way you recognise but thats what im doing. All I gotta do is find 1 mafia if I can. And i think i found one.

You dont HAVE to exert pressure to scum hunt. Sometimes hunting can seem real innocent.

Actually i dont think im particularly defensive  ive been going after you not defending. this post is about as close as ive come really and thats in answer to u. If you compare the tone of ure essay answers to mine you can see the difference.

So there you go  hope you enjoy that.  other then lynching you im not particularly interested in what else you have to say and im not going to keep rehashing the same things over and over.

I think ure mafia therefore I want you gone.

I apologize for the sparse votecounts everyone.

My sleep schedule has been out of whack and this week has just been one thing after another taking up my time.

I think things should normalize next week.

Reminder: the deadline is in a few days.

Posts like these are why I like Zander in this game.  It might seem pretty trivial but I think through all the usual horsing around he's attempting to bring attention to things that ring authentic in Zanderland.  It's not that scum!Zander can't make this post, but it would just be a really random thing for him to say if he didn't actually mean it.

I really like this read, actually. Even in a world where you are scum I think this would still point towards Zander Town.

If he wants to be town in my book, he has to actually start casing people and posting original content.

I want Jeter to stop sleeping with all the hottest women in the world - including his fiance - and rubbing it in my face. But that's not the world we live in. Zander isn't going to change to fit how you read the game so you need to simply adjust the way you read Zander.

The initial posting thing wasn't really a big part of my argument at all, it was just the event that made his posts stand out to me while I was catching up.

As I read this post it looks more and more like a narrative you are trying to support and less like a read. What if I told you I had a night 0 peek on Zander? Where would you look then? My concern - not knowing your alt - is that you are potentially scum who knew that the old Zander meta was that he got mislynched a lot and you thought he might still be low hanging fruit. See how these things work?

Well I had some posts queued up but I lost them so oh well. But I think the push on me is stupid but not scummy. I think it was silli that was saying they were expecting me to finally say something when I got back but I pretty clearly stated in my post that I wasn't going to actually be able to catch up until later. So now I'm gonna give you some thoughts.

I don't really set out with a concrete strategy, but the Lenlo thing was kinda just looking for actions. I wasn't entirely happy with Lenlo's reactions to it but it wasn't terrible and I have a bigger scum read anyways.

I think Zander is scum. I thought his opening post felt forced but some people said it was just him so I was like whatever. Someone else pointed this out (I forget who) but he's spent a lot of time just defending and backing people up. It's a pretty easy tactic to lay low and get on some people's good side. Zander said that he had been attacking people though, but it wasn't a high risk one. He just jumped on the popular Lenlo bandwagon. His reasoning wasn't good either, Lenlo imo was pretty clearly just using a mostly gut read on that person who had barely posted so I didn't get why Zander was making a big deal about it. It felt like a weak reason to jump on a popular bandwagon. I'm gonna Vote: Zander

Whose actions were you looking for, apart from Lenlo's?

Things that make me say, "Hmmm..."

Penny for you thoughts?

Your argument is not very good, and Sili following you - if serious - is terribad.

I read it as a sarcasm vote.

Nothing preventing a wolf discussing team mate Hallia  or nothing preventing w/w coachingI think it's an important distinction here.

Can you explain when it makes sense to do so?

Zander is the guy who sits at the table with his friends and jokes around with them. He's more liable to comment on other's ideas than generate a massive amount of his own. Yet if you look carefully, he is still doing so.

It's just that his ratio of original content to commentary is different from most.

"Different from most" is a good way to describe our Zander.

I feel like villager Yates would question me or at least talk to me, because I'm there. That's really all villager Yates needs. That he has not done so gives me a general feeling like he's not solving the game.

I'm not really here for your amusement. And I'm not sure how much more attention you think your RVS vote required? But I'm here. And I'm solving. And I have a core. If you want to have a conversation with me start one.

This is not a lecture, it's just where I stand. :) Do you think you can agree to this premise?

Meh. We recently mislynched a problem Townie D1 in Fast and the Furious then proceeded to lynch the scum team in consecutive order.  No regrets.

I was (In my mind atleast) considered a jester of mafia. No one took me seriously. I coasted on jokes, chatting and the occasional good mafia gambit/town PR gamble.

Confirmed. This is what I meant earlier when I said:

Lenlo as the day 1 talking point isn't even a thing anymore...

I didn't want to call you a jester or a joke - that seems harsh - but I agree that you weren't taken seriously and were often the defacto D1 lynch.

Clov and Yates are players I need time to read, as I stated in my post. I probably won't have a good solve for either of them D1. I'm still looking of course, but in terms of making conclusions about their alignment I feel it's premature.

But you have zero problems solving Corlanna before lunch?

This is also what happened in HoC and Ragnarok, the last two games I've played here

Seems to be a thing
