@Taborline - but you see the problem with what you are saying, right? If Hally *is* scum? At *worst* we are forcing her to try to emulate her Town meta. And since that Town meta is a. more activity and b. town posting? If she generates more activity, we have more spew and more opportunity to catch her as scum. And she wouldn't know how to "Town post" as scum because she isn't viewing the game through her Town lenses. So, again, she is actually not capable, in my opinion, of using this to her advantage. It's not like anyone said "when she's Town she ALWAYS posts a reads list at 12 noon EST" or something that she can specifically benefit from knowing.

Generalities or do you need specific posts cited? It's mostly Cory's attitude and tone, I had a twinge reading Alanna's opener I believe it was, but that's overridden because they're the same role/alignment, and I have difficulty thinking Cory is scum here.

 

It feels good for a day one read. There's nothing very concrete, and this can be overridden with more data, but what I see so far makes me disinclined to push there.

I had never intended to suggest that people were definitely doing that in the first place. What I actually said was "I think anyone who answered that question could be a team mate, if indeed Hally is scum." Meaning it was a possibility, and indeed I clarified "Because all of those posts were talking about tells for how Hally plays, she could conceivably use any of them to modify her play style, no one seemed more telling than another. Equally, none of them could be teammates, and Hally might not be scum. I didn't see there being a hint there."

There are two options.

1. You disagree with me. You believe people stating Hally's meta could have been team mates coaching her and thus if Hally flips scum at least one of the people coaching her would LIKELY be a partner.

or

2. You agree with me. You believe that meta is not the same thing as coaching and nothing said could actually be useful in terms of coaching and thus the whole thing is null EVEN IF Hally flips scum.

 

I guess there's an option three:

3. You acknowledge that either 1 *OR* 2 could be the case - but then why even bring it up?

Currently I'm working on another game, but I would like to go back and read Taboo, Dice, Hally and Lenlo when I finish there to see if I can't find something.

 

I'm also very much cautiously watching Clov, Nomi and Yates at the moment. Not sure I want to lynch within that pool today though. I'm probably going to need more time on those.
