Also don't like Talya's vote on me.  She's been inactive plenty of times in her mafia career, so her jumping on my lynch for what is essentially a case on me being scum because I'm not posting much is, imo, weak.

 

For that matter, I don't like Sili's case on me which says the same damn thing.  I did like his early poking & prodding of people, myself included, so I think he might just be a wrong townie and not somebody going for an easy lynch.  I think Talya is the one going for an easy lynch.

Because we are both easy at this point - picking one over the other doesn't mean you're clear because "why didn't I pick the other" is not a sound counter-argument.

Only caught up to page 67, I won't be able to around more than 15 minutes after I post this. My day started with discovering there was water dripping from the bedroom ceiling, so yeah, fun times. Now I gotta run out the door in an hour and I'm still in my pyjamas with a crows nest on my head XD

 

If someone can give me a quick recap of what's happened since 67 and what the VC is on that will be awesome.

This is my problem with Mish and Talya. Placing a 'gut feels' vote on Talya (done by Celeste) caused her to react in a very OMGUSsy manner, which is null, perhaps leaning towards scummy. Celeste tends to hold her cards close to her chest, and is terrible at explaining herself, but she does this kind of thing all the time for reactions. Mish being called out by Celeste, perhaps randomly, panics and reacts in a very OMGUSsy manner, and proceeds to OMGUS Celeste and me, along with Ocicat who defends Celeste.

 

Why would Mish and Talya react in this way? Why has Celeste been slow at answering their suspicions?

 

I can't answer the first question, and I can't answer the second fully. But there's a reason why we're in a hydra. Celeste and I are both busy people. Patience, lolz.

First off, in response to your list-thingy (that was a massive pain to read on mobile btw....) you say I "cleared" you and Cel. I did not. At that point in the game, I had a good feeling about you. I don't clear every player I have a good feeling about (actually I never clear a player completly unless they are Innocent Child). My reads can and will fluctuate wildly D1. I really dislike you trying to portrait it as a scumtell that I change my reads as the game progresses and gets more serious...

 

I did not mind Celeste asking me directly at the beginning of the game at all. I explained about my timezone and my situations so that those of you who are not used to playing with me would know. I thought it odd she called med out specifically since I said I'd be less active until Monday, but nothing more than that.

 

I did not start looking at you guys before Tina's post. She made me see how tightly Oci had bound us together, and the more I thought about it, the more it troubled me. So I postrd about it and I voted Oci because he gave me the worst feeling about it. Then I got really, really worried about how you and Celeste just brushed it off something a townie should be worried about, and everything that followed after, and that's why I voted you.

 

It was not an OMGUS in any way and you trying to portray it as such is REALLY bad and does not make me feel the least bit better about you.

 

Btw, I thought you also thought Pral was scummy... So why are you subtly nudging his idea that me and Talya are teammates? o.O You can't have it both ways.

Alright, if you want to accuse me of massive misrepresenting, I suppose I can do the same.

Neither of us have quoted posts, and I apologize if that's why you think I'm misrepresenting you.

 

I don't remember being concerned about Ocicat binding you and himself together. I didn't see that at all. I don't think that Celeste and I brushed it off. We just didn't see it. If anything, I'm more surprised that you didn't address your own idea of binding Ocicat and our hydra together. I don't think it was your original idea, though. I'll actually go and find posts so that we can have some good, solid data instead of this conjectural stuff.

 

How am I subtly nudging his idea that you and Talya are teammates? If Pral is scummy... uh, that doesn't mean that you and Talya aren't. One gem that Pral said to me last time we were Mafia together, is that he would never put his scum buddies on his town list. Do you see why it isn't a 'having it both ways' now?

No, it is not. Lynch and flip gives information. No-lynch means town starts at the same point the next day.

I'm liking Lee, Cory and Sili.

My first game with Eld and Oci, so they are hard for me to read at this point.

JS feels relaxed, wich is a good thing.

Also feeling good about Wisheste, Celeste seems more "on" and Wish more relaxed than TUS.

Thats a BS reason to vote and looks to me like your just trying to hop onto an easy train of a player that is historically easy to lynch. FOS Mish. FOS.

Even after Lenlo started discussions on many other players (10-15 according to Lenlo himself), Mish says that she doesn't think the discussions were helpful and were just to make Lenlo look good.

OMGUS, sure. I havnt played mafia here in months Mish. You coulda completely changed. So im gonna take this game and this game only into consideration and so far this game you have made minimal game contributions and your only vote is weak.

I last played a full game in december. I subbed D4 in the HP mafia in July and well you know how long I stayed in the TUS mafia. And yes, I haven't contributed much yet. I said in signups I wouldn't be able to have normal activity this week. But I'm trying now aight.

 

How many times do you want me to say the same thing? Your posts don't look to me like you are trying to find mafia. They look like you are trying to look town. That is how I see your posts. I don't know how much better than that I can explain really... If you don't understand that then *shrug*

BTW: "Easy to hide behind" is my favourite argument to use when I'm mafia. It's such a nice way to make others look weak and yourself look like you are actually trying to case someone.

 

 

I was more asking for examples rather than the blanket statement your throwing out right now about me.

Might be significant. I haven't found CEleste to be particularly 'on the ball' regardless of her alignment. Could be confirmation bias. meh.

She feels more attuned to the thread than TUS, wich is my only other experience with her. There her posts felt more like "I post because I have to to look good", whereas here I feel like she's been more engaged.

 

 

 

Also with what Mish pointed out with the Verbal/Tayla/Leelou chat it looks odd to be but I can't quite but my finger on it.

Instead of explaining her reasoning for finding Lenlo scummy, and providing more 'evidence', Mish says that she no longer finds Lenlo suspicious and unvotes him.

 

Do you see what I'm saying?

 

Also, to note, she clears Lenlo in this post in which she unvotes him, and finds Celeste's gut votes suspicious, though that's basically what Mish herself did ("I just feel like this is Lenlo trying to look town", "I don't know how to explain it, etc."). Also note that Mish focuses on Celeste in this post, who has interacted with her before, but does not vote Celeste as easily as she voted Lenlo.
