I haven't decided yet.  I've never seen an AitP game go so slowly, tbh.  I might just kill a random Guard.  Either way, failure to have a lynch by deadline will not be a positive result for the town.

Assassinate: Darthe. 

 

He had the most evidence for him being king, that I could tell.  

 

Here is my POE for him being King - 

 

-Biggest reason: I want to assassinate darthe.

-Real Biggest Reason: He hasn't really been talked about or to.  Nyn talked to him a little bit, but it wasn't much.  Both votes were because he "needed to show up".

Second Reason:  He hasn't been asked to explain himself.  His explanation for why he voted Zander was a full 5 minutes later.  To me it looked like "Shit, I need to explain why I did that, otherwise how will they get around voting me tomorrow?"  He said Sooh was the "right choice" but only gave the response of her being on the wagon.  And then said she could probably save herself if she was around, but since she wasn't she had to go and no one questioned this. 

-AJ said it seemed like Sooh didn't know who the king was. She didn't do much, but she did hedge on Z (town) and vote for darthe. 

-Nyn gives darthe an out for her looking seriously at him.  Playing like a tool. 

-Nyn says she won't do guard cover for him and then he says that's wolfy and votes her. Could also see her being crafty and saying she wasn't going to do seer cover after already doing it.

- "We aren't lynching me d1"  Automatic given if King. Also, Nyn doesn't get all over him about not participating.

- Everyone is putting darthe out of the POE.   I always suspect him, so it seems weird that no one would even for a minute want to think he's scum.  Has he really done that much to look town?  Why would Nyn be comfortable with darthe being town, but not me? He has fewer posts and little explanation. She says myself and Lily have little content, but darthe also had barely any at this point. What has he done to be in Lily's town list? [At this point he had voted Sooh, but not explained why.] Why is he out of AJ's POE?  She's been pretty open about why she thinks what she thinks about people (reread made Nyn look better; Pral probably isn't the assassin after his guard hint, Lily is bottom of POE, so why does she think darthe is town?).

 

Food for thought: Pral says "She" when referring to the assassin.  Granted, he talks about AJ, me, and Lily in the next paragraph so he could be leading into that, but he and darthe were the only guys left and he supposedly doesn't know darthe's alignment.

-He's darthe.  He's good at this game and he knows it.  Bravado is normal.

-Nyn said she wasn't going to do seer cover. 

-He always suspects me. 

-He isn't discussed because especially now, he is best cover if not King. Nyn could be going easy on him because of the good cover he is providing. 

-This post makes it sound like they haven't voted the King yet, but at this point they had already voted Darthe.   <---- Big question.  Before this exchange, AJ unvoted darthe because he showed up.   THEN AJ says we need to run up a lynch on the King to make not so obvious that that person is the King.  Then Nyn says that was a problem last game and we need to learn from that.  Maybe she's telling AJ she (Nyn) thought she (AJ) was too obvious in her vote/unvote of Darthe?  ARg. 

-Is this all confirmation bias because I think it really is him?

 

Lily as King POE:

-Quieter on thread (fewer interactions to go through) because she doesn't know alignment of anyone.

-Barely mentioned except that she needs to be around more.  When she says she feels like she talked enough on thread, Nyn backs off easily.  

-No one votes her except me, despite being discussed several times.  

 

Lily as not King POE:

-Why would Z shade her with "aggressiveness" if she was the King? 

-Comes back to the game and explains that she doesn't think Nyn is the assassin and is happy with her vote on Z.  Would that be necessary as King?  Seems like trying to ensure that others don't find her scummy for not talking a lot.  

-Would Nyn need an explanation if she were the King?  She doesn't ask Darthe about his vote.  (AJ does though, so not necessary maybe?)

-On darthe's list of possible suspects.

-Why defend her activity if King?  She would know she wouldn't get voted; could have been kneejerk.

-AJ says Lily is next on her POE before anyone votes me. Reckless if Lily is King.  This post, even more so. 

-Pral mentioned her as a possible assassin candidate. 

 

Nyn as King POE:

-She's heavily invested.

-Could have run her up (only ever got to 3) to bait the assassin.

-She was basically left out of pral's assessment (in the middle, with darthe).

-Everyone who suspected her in the beginning is dead (Z), changed their mind with a reread (Darthe? Lily? AJ).

-Could this be referring to the three votes on Nyn? 

 

Nyn as not King POE:

-Z's relentless going after her.

- Run up to 3 votes.

-Sooh mentions she thinks Nyn is innocent.  Would AJ and Nyn still think she doesn't know who the king is if Nyn was the King?

 

 

AJ as King POE:

-Very involved in the game.

- People suspect her, but then back off fairly quickly.  

 

AJ as not King POE:

-Z (Town) starting to question her ASAP.

-Lily wants AJ to explain herself. 

-The pressure to explain herself.  I am aware this could be a false reveal, but seems legit from the way the thread was swinging. Note: darthe is the second vote on her train and she would want to make sure the King knew she was town.

-This post of Nyn's.  Why use the word paranoid if she is the king? 

-Pral mentioned her as a possible assassin candidate.

 

I need to remember that yes, they will want to trick the assassin, but they don't know each other's alignments (except king) so they won't want to look too bad re: accusing the King of stuff, etc.  

 

 

Reading this, I very obviously think it is darthe.  But then why do I still feel hesitant?

 

 

I hope it's clear from my notes that I did put a lot of time and thought into this game.  If that doesn't show you, feel free to ask Verb haha.  I'm pretty sure he's glad this game is over just so he doesn't have to get 8000 PM messages from me every day! I just didn't talk much on thread because I very obviously didn't want to give myself away!  Nyn, I felt especially bad for not replying when you were asking for more activity, I just didn't know how to act since you guys had more knowledge than I did.  I'm just happy that I wasn't the very first one out haha.
