I'm personally a lot more suspicious of Laine than I am of Sooh, but I also know Sooh's been around.... and her ignoring the thread doesn't bode well.

....because that's what we're supposed to do? I want to get conversation going instead of this stagnant feeling. Sooh still not responding ITT just added to why I wanted to vote her to start with.

Content wise her posts were my least favorite, excluding Zander, of course.

 

 

Not sure why Sooh is awol. Seems a dumb play to make as the assassin. But you never know. Her absence is the only thing that really bugs me about her right now. Her content was eh... average. Nothing stood out. I'm not in the habit of voting someone just because of inactivity... so here's hoping she shows.

 

Key and Lily need to start taking a more active part in the game.

Content wise? This has been a pretty quiet game and I've been responding to things as I've come across them. I feel like you contradict yourself Nyn. You vote me on content, then say that Key and Lily need to be more active. So which is it?

How is that contradictory? They have little content. Nothing I saw there bothered me, but I need to see more. You on the other hand posted plenty.

But I HAVE had content. What do you not like about my content? Is it because I play differently than you?

Also, how is not posting enough to be transparent, whether guard or assassin a better deal than posting enough for someone to at least get a read on? I would think the hiding game was more suspicious, but that's just me.

From an overview of Laine's posts... I don't like her little prods. It's kinda like Pral said. Feels like she's sort of testing things out It's little things, like throwing out a comment on how she thinks the assassin is among the quiet people.... which was an interesting comment to make when 3/4 of the game was being quiet.It conveniently excluded her, since she was being active, and could have been her trying direct us towards lynching the inactives. The claim itself had no real basis either and seems to stick out to me when going through her content.

 

Then she switches around votes on Pral, then Darthe, saying it's to make them show up. Which could be innocent, or could be just her testing to see what happens. From a very basic standpoint, technically, any wagon that gains a significant traction is most likely not on the king, And vice versa. I would imagine that the Assassin would be equally interested in seeing the trains that take off... and those that don't.

 

She starts off defending Zander, saying RL might be getting in the way. Then she throws comments on how he is being odd and defensive, thereby encouraging the suspicion on him, but at the same time she avoids his train and says she doesn't want to lynch him on D1. Don't really get that comment *shrugs*

 

Then she says I'm prolly the assassin and goes to bed. Follows that up with a vote and says it's for the interest of competing trains and doesn't provide an actual reason (because... yeah... she doesn't have one). I feel like this is her trying to see if I'm the king. ie.. by creating a competing train she was hoping to see if people would vote me or not. There was absolutely no benefit to creating a competing train in this kind of game...... I think this specific move is what seals the deal for me.

 

She keeps saying that she knows the lynch is gonna go Zander's way, but that she still thinks I'm the assassin. This is despite her saying she thinks he's not been himself. And later on, after supposedly rereading, she retracts the entire accusation and gives me town cred..... says she's willing to switch to Zander... but never follows through.

 

Then later on she questions the vote on Sooh... but once Sooh builds up to two votes, she joins with a third one. 

 

 

The rest of her content is a lot of garbage about how to play this sort of game. Yada yada yada. Where she was feeling me out to see what tactic I would use in this type of game.

 

 

 

She's the assassin. Book it.

I don't rate scumminess according to volume. 

 

In a perfect world everyone would post a lot and I'd always have content to work with. Unfortunately that's not the case and some people are low content players. Doesn't make them scum, though.

Nyn, your case on Laine is very convincing, and it's starting to make me believe the assassin is one of you two. I can see you posting a good case as the assassin. I'd still like to see how Sooh responds to the votes on her.

My issue now is that I like how she responded to it. LOL   I have made good cases before that blew up in my face. Zander, point of fact. It's not a foolproof method, it's just how I roll. So I'm having some second thoughts now.
