Wombat, why do you think Seph is the best lynch for today? Based on those big walls Bizarro-Me posted on the last page, I'm actually really happy with Seph as a town read. I spent quite a bit of time trying to explain the advantages and disadvantages of seer cover to him when he was my tag-a-long in House of Cards, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him try to employ the strategy here as town...not so sure he'd do it as mafia.

He DID blow cover in the first one Maw posted, but that's null - at worst - for me. Could probably argue that he would have done so more effectively if he was running it by a team.

Him arguing about defending his townreads is definitely town points IMO.

What am I missing in the other 77 pages?

He has no scum reads and his approach to Durin is scummy regardless of cover. My vote is mainly on him by inertia though. I've thought about moving it a couple times, but Seph hasn't actually done much of anything imo.

Zander is kinda meh to me but seems to be trying so I'm willing to leave him around for now. I have Sooh as townish trending back to null, but I've had trouble with reading her in the past. I have Leelou as null and don't know why anyone would have a read on her right now.

Assuming you mean entirely, I disagree with the bold. If there was any candidate that was so blatantly mafia (i.e., they might as well have posted their role PM), all the votes would already be there for the day. With no real knowledge of how the wagons got to where they are, I'm pretty comfortable saying half of the people with votes on them are town - if only for numbers reasons. So if we consolidate, we hit town more often than mafia, and it's a hell of a lot harder to hold people accountable for bad votes when everybody is just moving to one candidate.

If you mean to two or three candidates and make people defend their choice, I retract my objection.

I checked the recent VC, and saw that Leelou is up there now. Why is this?

Sometimes I like to withhold things I think because I recognize that they are going to look bad on me to say even though they're true. This is one of those things.

I'd really rather not lynch Seph. I get why he is being - read and it's warranted and I don't even disagree with the lynch. As a matter of fact I could make a really strong argument for it.

But I don't want to see him lynched today. I think that we are lost but that there are better candidates out there vastly more likely to flip wolf than him and my reasons for thinking so are all individually weak but they add up to a lot.

stagnant train all day, even though it looks all town

votes everywhere

low effort on his part but much better posting than in the past

some of my wolf reads have pushed him without voting him

people throw a lot of snipy comments at him

seriously he has had some good (albeit safe) posts

the reasons people have for voting him are reasons I've had for voting him in the past when he flipped town

All the above said, the reasons people want to vote him are valid and idk, I think there is a greater than null chance that he is a wolf. I just think that it remains more likely that he is town. Say 65/35.

Yates - moving you to town Not letting things go and seems to be trying to #solve the game.

Talya - You seem to be looking at the game through a townie lense. I've liked your thought process, even if I don't agree with everything you've said.

Zander - I have not read any game you have played in. Right now, I'm having a bit of a hard time separating you out from Darthe. It feels like serious buddying is coming in to play from Darthe, and I'd lean you being town in this scenario.

Maw - I liked the content of his posts, but I can't clear him off of a handful of posts. I like that he jumped right in when he was here. He said he'd be slow through the weekend, giving him til after then to get a read on him.

Shad - I can't make a judgement on you this early. I'm going to have to rely on flips and how you interact with people through a few phases.

Wombocombo - Not too overly impressed, Wombat is saying a lot, but not really saying much. AJ was very heavy handed with Seph in the beginning and seemed to have a bit of a grudge thing going on. Not really a good look, the grudge reminded me of Des.

Durin - Turin has been kinda meh. I don't really like Darthe's handling of salami this morning. We all know he's very capable of pulling bad moves as town and having meltdowns. Also, it feels as if Darthe has been buddying Zander. Starting to get a scum lean.

I find four things suspect about this post.

Maw, Talya and Yates made it into a reads list over many far more inolved candidates.

Zander has literally followed me all game, to the point that we have joked about it and yet she accuses me of buddying and attaching myself to him as opposed to it being the other way around.

She acknowledges Salami in her read of me and yet doesn't provide a read of him which is the definition of leading.

It comes at a point that clearly shows interest and cognizance of the thread but she isn't interacting.

That was my null list I said I'd ISO today.

Ohhhh okay, I subtract point one then. What about the other three? BTW your reads list sucks enough to disregard.

The last 2 - I posted a reads list which shows where I have salami. I've said a few times he's town. Also, I'm interacting where I can. I'm one of those busy people too.

Other point - It's how I felt reading Zander that he was coming across town. You are the one making a big point out of the way you guys are thinking aligned and it is coming off as buddying. I could be wrong and he could be scum.

This whole chain looked odd to me, it's what really set my suspicion of Leelou.
