Problem with hydras: trying to ISO posts with two people. Looking over Verb/Thane, I can't really remember anything off the top of my head right now

Fascinating.  Do you think that's an issue for two people with a combined 70 posts?

I'm just going to look at them separately, I suppose.

 

Turin: All fluff, maybe a line or two of him agreeing to a statement or questioning why but no followups, but out of 42 posts and 55 pages, I would hope to get at least a feel of your reads. All I can really get from his posts is that he didn't like Csarmi's claim, doesn't know what to do about the Durin/Dice situation or Darthe in general, Seph is bad or wolfy, and that the wolves are slacking. Seems like a lazy day to go about day 1

Did not clarify what was off about the Sooh/Heart/Leelou/Laine- thing in this post, even though he mentioned coming back to it after Sooh appeared.

Verbal: most of his interactions seem to be with his town reads, namely Dice, Eldrick, Csarmi, Yates, Sili, Leelou

But I don't really see him putting pressure anywhere like he should be doing on D1, except for a comment to Darthe about his posting towards Seph.

And I find it odd that Seph has taken up half of this day (Durin/Dice) the other half, but it's not really mentioned at all.

He did go so far to call Dice an obvious townie, but I don't see much speculation on the main topics from today

I do like his read on Dice, and Eldrick

Overall, not getting much from either of them, I don't see them actively trying to game solve Day 1.

we need to get to some sort of consensus on a lynch at some point soon.  the dice/durin thing has consumed way too much time and either way anyone feels about i dont think either are getting lynched today imo.

I'm kinda setting aside Dice/Durin at the moment. I don't think that'll be resolved today anyway, plus they might both be town.

 

Zander is basically always polite. It's rare to see anything else out of him. Also he is the guy who wants everyone to be happy, so I'm not surprised his posts read like that, Talya. He would be careful not to hurt anyone's feelings. 

 

I left off yesterday before I ISOd Csarmi. I didn't have the energy to do that at that point, so I'm on that now. 

 

Csarmi - I just read all his posts, and I'm left with some questions. Besides his town read of me and his scum read on Zander he really hasn't given much in terms of reads. He does ask questions of everyone, but I'm not seeing too much solving at the moment. 

 

@Csarmi - why did you vote WomboCombo? and why did you then say 4 hours later that you don't know who to lynch?

 

 

Re Heart - I think her post coming in and clearly skimming and giving her thoughts is fine. What I didn't like, which may or may not have been a typo since it made little sense, was that she said she'd barely be here next week as well. At this point, even if she is town, how does it benefit town to keep her around? If she doesn't have the chance to make proper reads and ideas she's basically just , excuse the expression, dead weight. If she is scum and we take her out, then great. If she is town and we take her out, then at least she won't make bad decisions at must lynch because she hasn't been able to follow the thread and ask her questions. However, I do see the point that her flip may not tell us much. 

 

That's how I see it anyway. 

 

At this point in the game I'm just waiting for a flip to inform my reads further. I feel a little like I'm banging my head against the wall, and I think a lot of people do.

I do find those slots hard to read because of the hydra element. I think I prefer to sit on the fence with these slots for a while longer until I get some more information.

I want to say that at least one hydra is on the scum team, going by that, I would but Durin as a town lean, Wombrej in the middle, and Verbane at the bottom. The latter two are already kinda low on my list because they're all strong players but I'm not getting that from them at this point.

And the answer is that there is a 25% chance of any slot being on the wolf team.  You put three slots together and it's 75% that there is a wolf in the group of three.  That's standard ratios.  

 

This game doesn't have standard numbers.  With 18 we can have four suped up wolves or five weak wolves.  So 4/18 is .22 and 5/18 is .27 roughly.  Thus you have between a 66% and 82% (rounding up here) chance of three players being wolves.  This averages out to 74% likelihood of there being a wolf among us.

@ Sooh - thanks for the boy on Zander, I was going to check the other threads to see what he was like. He is s prolific payer here so that's why it might stand out.

 

@ Sooh again - I don't like the idea of just lunching someone just because you just don't want someone that may oray mot be around. This isn't smells wolfie to me. There was a feel of wanting an easy lynch on someone.

 

@ Alanna - I'm also a bit suspicious of AJ disappearing, I didn't like how tunnelling he was on Seph, I need to go over Womby's post tonight. Because he is coming across better
