Also what you say is true that you're outspoken as scum but all wolves have the tendency to hide at points in the game. You're not making the typical splash you do as a villager and I take issue with that. Your D1 looks bad and there are questionable interactions with you and known scum. I will literally go through every game I can recall where you were scum on this website to fact check this.

 

Trying to come in and immediately thunderdome me for having very real reasons to suspect you and deciding I'm scum off one post is seriously terrible, Yates. You might be able to convince some of these other players but you can basically consider yourself outted to me.

 

Also reads like a planned angle when combined with his earlier argument for super active wolves.  Personally, I don't see Yates' activity as alignment indicative one way or the other.  I'm not big on clearing people for WiM or condemning people for WiL.  Yates is also skilled and self-aware enough to exploit his meta as either alignment, so I'm wary of meta arguments for or against him.  I don't think Yates has done anything townish yet, and he's done a few things that I see as scummy.  It's as simple as that.

I recently got mislynched as a BP Cop mostly because of sh*tuff that happend while I was AFK. F that. Not this time. I find it frustrating that the only times I'm mislynched are when I'm afk. It's been my first Father's Day weekend and also my wedding Anniversary. Sorry if my life comes before the game but it always will.

I am lying how? NO ONE's village and wolf games are perfectly identical. You, me, Darthe, Verb, whoever. Some can play convincing and outspoken wolves but at the core it's still different because the motive changes with alignment. You aren't playing like a villager imo. I don't see you solving things. You defend people unnecessarily and make odd posts at strange times with weird reads that aren't really congruent with the thread or where I think you'd be as a villager.

I was addressing you directly.  I would not have called you "him".

 

And yeah, totally bring this up after Yates has said his schpeel.  Basically I noticed an inconsistency in one of the main issues people had with Yates.  Whether or not it is the product of scum setting Yates up, it will not incriminate you in any way.  Rather, in a very round-about way, something you said totally unrelated to the events of D2 brought it to my mind.  If Yates is really town, it will be obvious to him.  If he's wolf, I'm not going to help him find it.

Really the bottom line is that Yates doesn't decide I'm a wolf without reading me in full if he's a villager. Like that's the core of this entire interaction that people need to take away from it. He knows he can read me and he knows I'm a valuable ally because of my ability to read him. We have villaged together many times.
