Im uncomfortable with darthe now. the way he started talking about Sephs character but then didnt go into full detail about the char. Cause that character is a good guy but it defenitely could be used as a safe claim.

 

Ive got seph scum but my heads spinning. I cant see a phoenix role as mafia but his play has been horrible.

 

Im going to Vote Thane  its really a matter of elimination for me in regards to him.

 

Turin im nervouse cause that role can be both town and scum. I want to see hin play. I dont want to judge just based on sooh who was legit scummy

SO, the way i get this is:

 

Darthe can be scum

Seph can be scum

Turin can be scum

I dunno about Thane, so i'll vote him

I read it.  I got it too.  I just don't see a character hint as particularly meaningful.  Who should we lynch today?

 

out of the people voting me, i didn't like Turins' nor Dice's vote on me. Dice complains that my vote on him would scream i have no reason to vote him here. But, i could say the same thing here. Something about pot and kettle comes to mind. He'd be ok to lynch imo. 

 

Turin's explanation is odd... i'm trying to figure out the reporter, and i gave my opinion on what the post could mean. He's misreading that, perhaps on purpose? 

 

You, Wombat, even though you've been trying to lynch me since D1 basically, i don't think you're a wolf this game. NK me if i'm wrong, heh. 

 

AJ seems town here, not willing to lynch whatsoever.

 

Leaves Darthe and Seph. They've been nudging eachother for a while now, but i'm buying Seph's claim. Darthe hasn't been on my lynch list since early game. But, people are suspicious of him, for reasons i could understand.

I didn't want to believe you were a wolf but with Turin's claim on the table I can't really see it being anyone else at this moment. If you're a villager then you have my apologies but either way with your VT claim you are a low risk lynch.

am i nuts? maybe.... but i have some doubts about identical reads this early in the game. The anti-town parties, especially when played by experienced players,  could easily take town lead and 'play for victory' this early, with little scepticism being put in their way. 

 

it's all too nice and easy imo....

i have read it, but i'm not convinced. There's something bugging me about him. Maybe i'm wrong (gods, i wish i could point out a wolf pack D1), but i'm sticking with my vote.

and, it's true about the spread. It's going to be hard to draw any kind of conclusion from the lynch...

 

 

i'm all for competing trains, which i don't think will happen now. I can draw my own conclusions when i look at who players vote, and who they avoid.

yeah, i just can't understand why people read JS as town..... i'm suspecting DAE is not town, but he's lower on my wtl-list than JS atm

 

 

 

I see a ton of cognitive dissonance here.  Looks to me like someone going through the motions.

 

1.  Acknowledges that people are town reading Snow.  Then he votes him.

2.  Confirms the vote.

3.  Says that it's going to be hard to draw conclusions from the spread but doesn't move his vote, instead making what he should have known was a futile attempt to get someone to CFD a consensus town read.

4.  Says he's all for competing trains but doesn't move his vote.

5.  Says we could get someone else lynched.  Doesn't move his vote.

6.  Reiterates his read on Snow and then nudges Dae.

 

How is what Thane says here at all consistent with what he does?

 

 

 

I mean if I had to TL; DR that sequence of posts from Thane it would be something like:

 

I'm all for competing trains or a CFD, but I'm just gonna keep my vote alone on this guy who isn't getting lynched while nudging the guy who is.

Sooh goes from null to red.  Seph goes from not on the list to light green.  Everyone else pretty much stays in the same general area.  Doesn't look great for Sooh/Turin imo.

it seems that i was the only one who thought that JS could have been a wolf this game. I was wrong, as was proven by the flip.

 

The reason why i posted 2 diffirent lists and voted from my last one was to see if my theory was right. It all seemed too easy imo. 

 

I try and test things every single game i am in, see if i can cause something to move (or not). I, like many others, still try to learn how to play mafia as good as possible.

 

I'd be interested in your thought on dice... town or not, and why?
