You know, I want to pry into your sensitive information, but I simply respect you too much to do such a thing

I don't, just for the record.

Beat me to it, lol.

Verbal do you think pocketing is a wolf tell for me

I think it is instinctual for any wolf to do, yes.  I've only played a few games with you, so I can't really say for sure what constitutes a wolf tell versus a villager tell for you......but I do think there are some universal tells that even experienced wolves make without realizing it.  I consider pocketing to be one of those things.

You have played plenty of games with me at this point so not seeing that as genuine

Even some games where I didn't even know you were you

I think you're better and more apt than this as a villager, you have been really on-point as a villager the last handful of games I've watched you (Warehouse 13 comes to mind)

Consider yourself on watch

You two setting yourselves up to be at odds already is annoying.

You should be suspect of one another. Hell, it'd be odd if you weren't. Throwing it about on thread isn't valuable.

I have universal tells for village/wolf that I use for everybody, but I don't have any Cory specific tells that I use.  I'll be happy if I can come out of this game with 1 or 2, but we'll see.

Like I'm reading this exactly as "long, fluffy complicated response to a simple question" and I don't find it genuine

Verbal has enough meta with me to give a better answer above how I play instead of a contrived answer how people play universally

That's my take, at least

Who are the wolves iyo Nyn?

Feel free to yolo it

Well Halli and I are planning to sit down and talk about it, especially since we seem to disagree about Clov at this point. She's heavily suspicious of him and I'm not sure if it's necessarily warranted. So we have to talk. My conflict with him is that he always boasts on how well he reads me. So I would expect him, as a wolf, to buddy me vs prod me. Because prodding me is a lot more likely to catch my attention. But Clov is tricksy.... so you never know. Either way I want to see more from him.

YOLO guess with the info so far? Sooh and Lee could very well be scum. Sooh for the reasons I pointed out. She's my top choice for today's lynch and I don't see myself going anywhere else today (unless something uber significant happens). Lee...I didn't have an issue with her at first... but the way she interacted with me when I engaged her felt a bit weird. She kept answering me and Verbal with jokes and it was never a serious answer. It felt a little bit forced and maybe even a bit dismissive.... didn't really like it. With that said, she didn't really have much in the sense of content and I usually do read her better after we're deeper into the game. So subject to change.

People I feel are prolly town: You (town peek), Kaylee, Darthe.

The rest pretty much fall in the null region in various degrees. I haven't seen anything from Tress that bugs me and I'm looking forward to see her thoughts to develop my read on her further. Cass felt genuine in her responses to me. I'm not getting a bad vibe from her right now. And frankly? After mentoring her as scum I find it a bit hard to believe that she would attempt a too scummy to be scum read list. Maybe I'm underestimating her but I think that her anxiety levels as scum are still extremely high and I wouldn't expect her to attempt this. So unsure but maybe light town lean. Dice needs to post more. I can't tell much from him making a handful of posts. But him being suspicious of AJ and Sooh is pretty akin to my own impression.... so gonna have to see what he brings to the table. Verbal and Wombat I haven't decided on yet (but I will as soon as I have more to work with). And AJ is..... AJ. I'm always suspicious of him. His posts were fine on the surface but as I mentioned before, I think the whole seer cover talk can serve as a  great way for scum to get townie credit without doing much. So I can't help but wonder if his comments in the matter are really done for the town's best interest or him just trying to look townie. Kinda flip flopping on him... but he's also a player that I usually can read a bit better later in the game..... so keeping an eye but he's not really someone I'd want to lynch today.

So yeah... these are my yolo thoughts so far.

That's a pretty interesting xpost

I'm going to give you space to do your thing, Verbal, so just be an obvious villager and we'll have no problems

DM scum teams for the past couple of years would like to say hello.

I'm talking specifically about the "well, let's lynch Thane again" mindset I see in most games because Thane'll take a mislynch like a pro most games

DM wolves have a habit of NOT making enemies and therefore coasting on the fact that they haven't pissed anyone off

Let's be honest, this isn't unnatural resistance. If either of you were talking to me the way you are to one another we would be butting heads Because in this game you have to protect yourself.

I tend to not capitalize on an experienced player that happens to simply disagree with me on D1 as a lynch candidate. Often that's a townie and things get cleared up once we receive a flip.

You can see then how this looks like relatively weak posturing.

Verbal has shown the ability to be a competent and follow-able villager in previous games so I'll shut up about it for now

If he doesn't improve in my head don't expect me to be quiet about it closer to EOD, but I'm fine with giving him some space and letting him approach the game as he pleases

That's pretty much the last thing I have to say about the matter

Nyn just made an incredibly townie observation. I too have mentored Cass and her anxiety as a wolf really doesn't match her performance here. Tbh nyn basically parrots my internal process on Cass thus far and...

Yeah, I loved that post.
