Did not read Sooh's early Aussie theme post as scummy - sounded like normal Sooh, reaction/explanation read natural (?Australian bias *g*)

Wolfy:

Darthe - forceful on early Seer cover, ?explanation in post #54, both defending/distancing from Nyn, 'pre-vote' /overly hard push on Sooh

Leelou - too little to make a call yet, but interaction with Verb did feel off

Clov - push on Nyn was weak, with quick backtracking to follow. ?more Town since

Kaylee - pushy/observant questioning - quick agreements with Darthe/Clov felt off

Nyn/Hally - watching this space: Nyn's 'tude seems normal Nyn/nulll but push on Sooh and interaction with Darthe may need more attention. Like Hally's logic, not sure what to make of tone.

Why is any of the bold wolfy? Ignore the part about Nyn for purposes of your response, please. Just comment on the Seer cover and the push on Sooh. What of that was wolfy?

I'm trying harder to be a driving force less early so I can see what other people do of their own volition and it's not like I'm going to clear myself through volume since I'm not afraid to post as a wolf so there's really no reason for me to go full sledgehammer until it's important - IE closer to EODs.

Something I learned by mentoring a lot is that I see the game state far better when I'm not driving it by myself and letting other people move the thread in the way they choose. This has been my meta switch for really most games that don't involve a heavily controlling and crafty player like Tom where I need to be constantly involved in the thread to make sure he/they don't pocket the entire thread. Understand?

I'll have to admit I'm also guilty of reading the spoiler. I'll also admit it is the reason I'm not ready to make a decision on how I feel about you yet.

Something neat to look out will be the initial reactions to Nyn getting ~extremely townread earlier on d1. AJ pointed out a post that like 5 people +1'd for a townread on her and I would YOLO guess that there were wolves falling in line there somewhere but I don't remember offhand the people who did it

Who is just going through the motions and sliding with consensus reads so far?

While I totally agree with you in this post, I'm on the fence re: you (as I noted above). Maybe it is the shift in your style for D1, but I'm not going to let it bug me until D2.

I've reread Cass because the slot is aggravating me to figure out and I remain aggravated. She is usually a cleaner poster than this as either alignment so it's tough to say that because she isn't posting in as concise or helpful a manner (not to mention somehow different tone?) that she is wolfy for it. She isn't bubbly either. Similarly there are things that I disagree with like her early reads list and her constant reiteration of her read on me which I still don't understand, but I don't think those warrant pushing her and I even am contemplating that Cass going this against the grain might be indicative of her being town. She occasionally says little things that seem townie so it's a toss up.

Basically what I'm trying to say is Cass, stop being difficult plz. If you're town you're going down the path to lose a thunderdome to me pretty soon and if you're a wolf save us all some time and concede.

Barring some significant change I don't want to lynch you today compared to Sooh.

So I wasn't actually joking about that N0 peek btw. It was random and provided at the beginning of the game (I assume to avoid faltering during N0 and so that we couldn't develop reads).

The only thing I have different up to here is I don't have Clov as a villager and I would add Leelou & AJ to the villager pile

All of the interaction that you/nyn/someoneelseIcan'tremember have had with Clov made me worry that maybe I put him in that pile too early but I'm going to stick with this read for now. We can agree that he isn't getting lynched today barring significant changes and tomorrow I can reassess with more info.

AJ.. Trending slightly up but is one of those players that you need to catch out of his element early. When he gets comfortable in his role he is almost a replica of his town self. Idk, I'm just not comfortable seeing him there yet.

As for Leelou, I'm terrible at reading her and even if I wasn't I'm not sure where your read comes from. Has she done anything yet?

Stopping after page 11 but I would say it's very likely that Wombat/Verb/Cass/Sooh/Dice/Clov contains 2+ wolves

I will give you a better and more concise list later but right now those are the people I am most wary of

This is a really good list. I'm pretty much in agreement with everything here. You've got a few people I'm town reading but they have been less pure than people that I will never scumread this game a la Tress and Kaylee (and prob you).

This is in order of probability to be a wolf by my estimation. The most important thing to take away from me saying that is that I don't think my bottom three is the wolf team. However, I do think that the higher you go the less likely you are to run into a wolf. Peek included at the top because she is obv. I think with more content from everyone between Verb and Leelou I could probably sort them more accurately.

I don't read this post as a player interacting with a town read of theirs - I see this as a player poking at another player they potentially find suspicious. Again, correct me if I'm missing something here.

Five pages in and I'm liking Cory, Darthe, and Kaylee for town this game.

Cory and Darthe for their willingness to explain the N0 peeks for the non PoG players.

My peek hasn't checked in yet.

I think we're better served following Tom the Tom's advice and waiting towards EOD to reveal. Players unfamiliar with seer cover may have troubles keeping that consistency through out the Day that wolves can see and cross them out as legit peeks. The less time there is for that, the better.

Think before you claim.
Maybe that pans out more in a long game, I'm not familiar enough to say one way or another with certainty. What I do know is that early peeks are more likely to be wrong which both increases the odds of clearing yourself as not the seer if you're mafia or of you being the seer if you got it right. It's all a strange dichotomy.

This is the post I agree with Hallia on - it gave me the exact same read on Kaylee for the exact same reasons. But the 'meh' you post implies you disagree. But then that means you disagree with a player's town read on a player you are town reading. I'm totally lost on your thought process.

That shows little other than minor differences in each of your play and idiosyncrasies etc. Probably isn't directional in this instance. Yet.

Let me state this another way: I don't care how I treated any playstyle shift with you in another game. I only care about how I'm trying to read you in this game. You made a post about changing things up.

If I ignore that post, I'd say I'm a little suspicious of you thus far. You're not trying to lead the town, and you look to be slightly pocketing my villa peek. If I'm the Seer, this means it should make sense that I'm suspicious of you. If I'm vanilla, then I'd be slightly less suspicious, so maybe yellow-ish. If I'm a wolf, then I'm in trouble because I've provided fake cover on Darthe and am not choosing to take the easy path of townreading you and moving on. Regardless of which of the 3 are true, I should become pretty obvious one way or the other pretty soon.

If I take that post into account, I can't really say the above because it could easily be you stepping back on purpose like you said. So it leaves me unable to have a read on you until I can come to grips with this supposed playstyle change. Hope that made sense.
