Wolf team Alot thinks Hallia is a wolf, village couldn't pose a threat to the wolves if they tried, regardless of my claimed power due to me being outed.

They are not bussing one of their own, there is no purpose in doing so, but using the wolves' better vantage point than my own, and the fact that I have peeks clearing others, Hallia likely is a wolf.

I was halfway through reading her villager here, when it finally dawned on me what is happening.

This is fantastic. This is why village will win this game now. This is as good as three guilty peeks.

and for those that didn't get the hint I'm Ecthelion I vanilla town who couldn't care less what happens anymore. There was a reason I quit in the first place and it seems some things never change around here.

3 scums down, and that's ALOT of spew to go back and re-read, if you'll pardon the pun.

Not only that, probably an entire half of one wolf team, but a likely member of another in the mix as well.

There literally couldn't be a worse outcome for wolves than this blunder. I am so pumped right now, if I can iso the involved likely guilty parties I might be able to get things wrapped up or at the very least, strongly solved, by the end of today alone.

I have alot of people to thank for this opportunity. The wolves, and the other wolves.

And the villagers who decided to act like villagers this game. I just kept bumping into them, one after another, like the roomba king always does.

Firstly, this is my first ever game playing with you. So you have not grown weary of me yet, seeing as I have accused your for what, an hour or so, so far, in one game where you already died on my team and replaced in to help someone out.

So, you have very little vested interest in what happens to your role. If anyone was keeping track of the stats, if thats a thing here, if you replace in on a different team, then you should either get marked down as a draw or a win regardless, unless both of those teams lost.

Basically you got a chance to continue play and you agreed, and under the severe pressure of one whole vote and a tinfoil hat case and zero evidence, you collapse and don't want to play mafia anymore.

Okay sure, that makes sense.

Except it's also very true that mafia will want to lynch people that the village suspects are wolves, especially if the wolf team thinks it is actually a member of the opposing wolf team.

But it wouldn't matter that much, they'd also love to lynch a villager that the village strongly suspects.

The day just began and I laid out almost nothing condemning you, and acted more confident than I was.

Your response is to flinch pretty hard and play the victim card.

It's not persuasive for the reasons listed. You appeared to be having a decent time earlier in the game, and were not emotional at all.

You replace in, and someone who suspected the person you replaced voted for you, and said they were going to find your wolf buddies.

The villager response to that is to laugh, not hint you're Ecthelion I, as if that meant anything. You almost can't possibly be a valuable village power, so the name is meaningless.

So why drop it? It does nothing.

This is to distract those who are impressed by such things. If you're a vanilla villager you claim that before you drop your name. The name is just fluff at that point.

Well, you're leaving mafia forever anyway so I'm assuming you're reading none of this, but for the record, it's bad form regardless of role to play such a card.

It makes the game less enjoyable for others. You'd bum them out for the horrific crime of actually playing the game and voting for their suspects.

Something you know is a slimy thing to do, but did it anyway because it's not illegal and it might win for your team.

Nothing personal, I've had a great time playing with you so far, and assuming you were telling the truth about your reaction to me, I'm sorry you feel that way.

At the same time, you have to realize it's beyond unreasonable to say these things and for me to go "oops I might have voted a villager" for the ten thousandth time in my mafia playing career.

That danger is always there, and if village truly is losing anyway, I haven't really done anything to affect the status quo.

Your reaction indicates I just struck wolf blood with my pickaxe. Sorry if that hurts. Shake hands after the game or don't, I'll be sad if we don't, but I won't stop legally playing the game, and honorably playing the game, by voting for people I think it would win the game if they're the people I voted for.

So I'll take your reaction as either unfortunate but very little to do with me personally and none of my business if you choose to react that way in a game of suspicion, or a wolf claim.

If you choose to return to play I'll ignore the tactic you just used, as a courtesy. But I'm still voting for you.

not even going to bother reading this whole post. I quit due to multiple factors, 1 players were skating due to inactivity, 2 the same person singled me out day 1 in every game, 3 I felt no enjoyment in the game anymore

of the three reasons I quit 1 and 3 are still an issue. I was fine with my original death. I even called it. I would even say it was an enjoyable game up to that point, but in the almost 24 hours since I replaced back in only HALF of the players have even posted seriously? I don't see any angle where that's enjoyable. All I've done is gone on hunches because even the people who are posting are barely interacting with each other.

Also to be fair I didn't even read your "case" on me.

Posted

okay so I read a little bit of it, and for the record you're the one discouraging people from posting.

Basically every thing I've said you've twisted into saying I'm mafia. I'm active and hunting so I must be mafia? right?

Where has Krak been since Pizza's "so-called clear"

Where has Taborline been all game?

How about Yates? he posted all of what maybe 2 posts today one to vote Hallia one to point out that it showed him and I think Talya as voting and not voting in a previous vote count?

don't expect much out of me until people start posting. I in all rights am planning to wake up to the dumbest lynch ever, but in the off chance that doesn't happen I'm still not going to do much until I see real effort in this game.

why? i especially want to hear why on EP

Posted

I have been meaning to do this for days.

[v]Laine[/v]

Could switch to any one of my scum reads/leans though.

I still don't understand WHY!? I did ISO you partially last night to see if my case came up though, so I'll get back to that. Please, convince me why I'm scum, because I'm honestly not seeing it. I think you're more upset that I voted Verbal and called you out for being so buddy buddy with him and you're taking it out on me by insisting that I am scum.

I'm not upset you vote Verbal, but the way you did initially is one of my reasons.

I'm voting you mostly off of your actions from day 1. I've mentioned a few times that it seemed like you were more getting caught up in small things and letting them bug you instead of actually engaging in the game. Seemed like someone who was annoyed to be getting attention early on and it felt scummy. That is over a whole page of your posts, so over a third.

End of Day 1 (before Yates flipped town)

I swear you guys added 10 pages as I was reading. I may be in and out today because ew gross sick, but that also means I'm not working so I'll be around for the deadline unless I'm crying in a corner.

Tress: "Sili and EP both baffle me as always - EP looks to be pulling one of his classic dubiously beneficial schemes, which I guess means he's probably town." I'm going to have to agree on this statement, it's better wording than what I would say (which is less polite), so I'll go with it. I'm leaning town on EP, and Zander has been leaning more town for me recently. If either of them flips scum, of course we'll need to take a hard look at the other.

@Eldrick: don't think too highly of yourself, or my memory, I have a list, lol. I was in two of your games on myndjack, RPS and Haunted Mafia.

Not sure if this has been answered yet, but I'm pretty sure Yates is independently grading EP/Zander, despite the claim he provided for them.
As for Yates' claim, I'm am absolutely not a fan of it. Someone mentioned bread-crumbing and I'm pretty sure he said something about flying pumpkin in his first post. Why come out the gate like that in the first place? Getting a scum vibe from Yates still, even after his claim.

I'd say aj and yates seems v/v but I said that about cory and yates last game and lolme

Ha, xpost.  I'm thinking the same thing........but w/w.

Yeah the fight almost doesn't feel natural in these coming posts. It's a lot of "no you're scummy." "No YOURE scummy." "No YOU. You're the scummy one."

Agreed.

I still want to know why you aren't voting your "lock wolf", Yates.

This. It's not right that he's said lock wolf for Seph yet the then back tracks and calls him town. I'm also getting a strong town vibe from Verb now that he's getting involved.

[unvote]

I will hesitantly follow a Verb for now. I don't likes the cut of his jib. Instead of throwing attitude he could try to help town.

I actually found your vote on Yates quite scummy popped in from nowhere and that couldn't read the whole game and a little bit of train comes along and there you are. Verb is being Verb doesn't make him scum doesn't make him town, but you want rid of him because of his attitude?

Right now I'm getting a strong scum read from Hallia, that jump on the Yates train was very opportunistic.

I'm not a fan of Leelou following Verbal as closely as she is. I'm not sure of my read yet though. It could be t/t but could also be scum buddying up to town, so that's pretty meh until I see a little bit more.

Dark purple - okay you didn't like his claim and think he's scum, but then you go to light purple and name someone scum for voting someone you think might still be scum and calling it opportunistic without seeing a flip.

There is an awful lot of snark in your posts, and it's not coming off as townie snark.

Here, Verbal seems normalish and you are getting town vibes:

Off work, stopping to feed cats before going home, I'll respond to Sili's inquiries before I go back and read up on what's happening.

Verbal and Leelou were playing very similar at that point, and were building their way to their votes for Yates (and Leelou had been shadowing Verbal for a while, others had also mentioned this and Leelou herself complained about them "not being the same person" or something of the sort). So, at that point, I saw nothing up with them voting in tandem with each other and I really didn't have any issue with pressure building on Yates because he was pinging me a bit because of his playstyle, which I've never been privy to before.

On the other hand, Hallia had not been adding herself to the conversation with Yates and was lurking, then swoops in and bandwagon votes with Verb/Leelou. This combined with her game play (You should look at her ISO, btw) is what is pinging her so hard as scum to me right now, and that is why I placed my vote there.

As of my last read, I was still getting town vibes from Verb (I've played with him before, he feels normal-ish) and less so from Leelou because of her shadowing, I don't know where I'm at now with anything that's happened today, but I'm pretty sure I'm going home and watching Arrow before I dig too much into anything.

Up until here, Hallia is still a good lynch:

I still think Hally is a good lynch, but I'm willing to look at Krak when I get the chance

This reads as a complete bandwagon vote on someone you had as a townie:

Eldrick, I really want to pick apart your Verbal case up there. Needless to say, I don't really like it.

I thought his case was pretty clear

I also went back to read Sili's case and read the ISO on Verbal, and I can agree to this lynch for today. I'll be back and forth to see if anything changes before deadline and hoping I don't fall asleep. Vote: Verbal

<snip>

Right now I'm good with voting for Verbal again, particularly on the usefulness of a JOAT to us. But, I've been back and forth all game on Pizza's alignment and there is still the potential that he's straight up lying. I'm going to spend my night going back to read over some things before placing a vote before deadline. I'm also pretty sure someone made a case from my ISO I need to go back and respond to that, now that my work week is over and I can properly take some notes.

So as of this post, you were still unsure of Pizza's alignment, but you want to keep around the role. Not really townie thoughts.

You still don't trust Pizza...

<snip>

For the record, I don't trust Pizza, but I think in the event that he is telling the truth, we should not risk losing a power like his. My vote will be on Verbal in the morning when I check back in.

This is the last time I can check in before deadline because I'm going out with some friends (also, Pitch Perfect 2 YAY). I've read through Pizza's posts and  I'm sticking to what I believed last night, so I'm going to Vote: Verbal

So, you never really said what you thought of Pizza if he was town or not before voting. It obviously was the safe choice with his claim.

You also have not yet once posted a full reads list. Could you please do that? You've piggybacked off a few and said that you've agreed, but I want to see your actual full list of who is town and scum.
