rough turbo night.  We played seven, lost more than I've lost in the entirety of the time I've been playing Turbos, towns slayed wolves 5 games

Can somebody give me the rundown on how the turbos run?  How many people, how long are phases, overall length of time & # of posts, etc etc

Set-up is always the same: 9 players. 2 wolves, 6 vanilla villagers, 1 seer with a random n0 villager peek.

Days are 18 minutes. Nights are 7 minutes for the peek and kill. If the seer dies, this is shortened to 5. Day 1 there is no majority but every day after is hybrid hammer.

Games are almost never longer than an hour and three minutes* and in some cases can end in ~30 min. Mechanically game always ends by d4.

Games are usually anywhere from 250-450 posts depending on how it went. You need to be there for the whole game, pretty much.

Darthe lied about it always being 9.  It typically is, but they've done others on POG.  If we start doing DM turbos, we can do more or less, though I recommend using the same basic set up (all vanilla, save a seer who gets a random N0 peek - or maybe pure vanilla?).

 

He also lied about them typically being under an hour - I've never seen a turbo last LESS than an hour.  I would say between an hour and 90 minutes is what you can reasonably expect.

The Tatiana Tiger turbos are 9ers. You can run 13ers or 17ers or whatever, but we're talking basically about the automated Tatiana Tiger turbos that POG runs.

 

You need a moderator for anything OTHER than a 9er.

 

I would say forty-five minutes to an hour is a much more reasonable expectation. A turbo lasting ninety minutes would be an absurdly anomaly.
