been skimming through the thread and the only thing that comes to mind is.... why lynch a claimed vig, D1?!?  That's definately in the top three silliest things i've seen in a mafia game.

Why do you not like it? Can you give specifics? You've been nothing but vague the whole game with little to no reasoning behind your arguments and reads.

Mainly the trying to move the lynch minutes before the deadline. That's basically an impossible task, and I can't for the life of me figure out why you would suggest it.

Hey guys... I just want to apologize. I've had a migraine since yesterday and it's still going... plus I have about 20 pages to catch up on... I promise I'll catch up as soon as I feel better..

I can see a townie thinking Yates is pushing his claim too hard, but I have a very hard time seeing a townie using that as a justification for a D1 lynch on him.  How many players on this site are obnoxious about "clearing" themselves as town?

In light of this logic; why would you follow through on lynching a vig claim - even if it's Sili? This is not an accusation, mind you, I just want to know why you would give me that sort of a "pass" [for lack of a better word] but not him.

And as for scum, I wouldn't be surprised if they had a conversation about who was mostly to have triggered something.

Remember how I told you our Arthur chat would be important? You just claimed yourself into a noose as Town again. You honestly and truly can blame no one but yourself. I wish deadline was about 2 hours earlier so I could have helped to sort things through but you can't rely on other people to dig you out of stuff like this unless you KNOW they will be there for you.

Just something to kick around in the Dead Thread before I join you, brother...

I disagree it's a silly reason. It helps me scumhunt. And that's what I'm here to do.

Well sure. ANY flip helps Town to a certain degree. It comes down to how you handle claims, how verifiable they are, and how easy/hard it is to justify allowing said person to live.

I was in the process of trying to illustrate to Sili that his cooperation would be essential to his survival in order to prove he was a vig and not an SK. Your reasons for continuing to push his lynch forward after his claim are pretty suspect and it leaves me with a bad impression on your play. Unfortunately, you aren't alone in that regard and that will make it difficult to determine who was being derp and who was taking advantage of the derp.

Question; you wake up tomorrow and find out you HAVE to lynch one person on the Sili wagon. Who would it be and why? I ask you this because this is the exact question I will be asking myself and as of page 59 you are my leading candidate.

@Alanna - As you answer the question above, bear in mind that I have read this post:

Sili, your flip alone gives information. It will tell me how to look at people who voted you and pushed you, and how to look at people you voted and pushed. I don't really get what people don't understand about that.

I haven't caught up the whole thread, but I haven't had a good feeling about Sili, either. I thought maybe it was because I don't understand him, but if so many others feel the same way, I'll vote there.

Unvote

Vote Sili

Lily - do you usually lynch Vig claims? Also, where do you typically fall on the "leashing the SK" argument?

This is why we are friends IRL. Have a beer.

Yeah, but that's not scummy. That's just DM. People tend not to show up until minutes before deadline. That's why I tried clearing/condemning you so far in advance. I would like to see the DM meta change to treating the last 4-6 hours of a deadline the same way the final hour is currently treated. But I also acknowledge that asking a large group of people to be online and active for a 4 to 6 hour stretch is asking a lot. Still, it would give people more time to check back in and level set as needed.

Point being, feel free to find Hally scummy for any number of valid reasons but just know that her trying to change the wagon at deadline isn't one of them.

And with that? I'm going to be super low activity today. Filming a commercial for the next 8 hours. Because I'm awesome.

I have since came to the same conclusion myself. I respond to what is weird to me. It isn't always something scummy.

have fun.

We'll be waiting for Night to end, i guess

On that note, when does night end? I didn't see a deadline for NA's. I may have just missed it in the post. I was skimming at the time.

I'm not scum and I wasn't being derp. I freaking hate when players who weren't around at deadline come in after a Day 1 lynch to criticize everyone who was on the lynch.

Let me say this one more effing time. I HAD NO SOLID SUSPECTS. Sili and Eldrick were the closest thing. I would have abstained from a vote entirely except the stupid no lynch idea was gaining traction. No, the fact that Sili was a vig didn't sway me. I don't consider a vig all that useful anyway, and I've already explained why several times. You may disagree, but guess what. I'm not you.

I've pretty much explained to death why I voted Sili. I don't think it was stupid and I don't regret it. I'm pretty much done talking about it.

As for your question and any Day 1 analysis, which I intend to do, I'm gonna wait probably until Day starts. I need to take a step back from this game for a few hours at least, because I'm getting too pissed off.

I feel ya. Due to my schedule, I don't join in until everything for the current RL day has already happened, and go to sleep just as it's starting up again. It's a contributing factor to my wanting to quit.

I don't know if it means anything, but I noticed the two people that pushed for me to stay in the game (not counting kaylee via pm) were my scummates in the last game. I'm sorry about that, by the way. I've been battling with if I want to play on forum or not since I started in the Arthur game. It hit me hard yesterday.
